"Although I checked in quite late and was unable to experience all of the services, I was still very satisfied with my stay. All of the staff were incredibly considerate, but what impressed me the most was how they always greeted and assisted guests with a genuine smile. They did their best to accommodate every request, so I honestly found it difficult to have anything to complain about. Perhaps because the weather wasn’t ideal, I felt that the hotel’s exterior had a much stronger visual impact than the view from inside the room."

Hotel near Mactan,Lapu-Lapu City
With a stay at Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu in Lapu-Lapu (Mactan), you'll be steps from CHI, The Spa and 8 minutes by foot from Mactan Shrine. After dipping into one of the 2 outdoor pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. This resort also features complimentary wireless internet access, concierge services, and babysitting (surcharge). Guests can get to nearby shops on the shuttle (surcharge). Grab a bite to eat at one of the resort's 5 restaurants, or stay in and take advantage of the 24-hour room service. Snacks are also available at the 2 coffee shops/cafes. Featured amenities include complimentary wired internet access, a business center, and limo/town car service. Event facilities at this resort consist of conference space and meeting rooms. Free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the 530 air-conditioned rooms featuring minibars and LED televisions. Rooms have private balconies. Complimentary wired and wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming provides entertainment. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

"The room decor feels quite dated, with the bathroom and various furnishings showing their age and a slight musty smell. The air conditioning automatically turns off when the balcony door is opened. The external environment is relatively good, with a park and a beach available. The pool is also well-designed, helping to distribute people. There's a 'naughty bag' (play area) suitable for different age groups of children, which requires a fee, though hotel guests receive a discounted rate. Breakfast gets very crowded, so expect to queue. Overall, it's suitable for a family vacation. However, if you have high expectations for the accommodation experience, you might want to choose a newer hotel."

Hotels in Bohol Island
Situated on the sandy shores of the beachfront in Panglao, LIME Resort Bohol, a member of Radisson Individuals Premier offers an unforgettable getaway in the Philippines. Discover world class hospitality, breathtaking views, and unmistakable island charm. Our beachfront resort offers villas with garden and pool views or direct beach or pool access. Enjoy a delicious meal at our all-day restaurant or opt for a memorable dinner with beach views. Refresh at the pool, unwind with a drink at our pool bar, or take in the view from the deck.

"The loft facilities are quite new, and the bidet toilet is one of the few I'm willing to use because it looks and feels very clean. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, but the waterproofing isn't great, so a little water seeps out. The TV has YouTube, which is great for lounging on the sofa and watching TV with takeout after a day out. There aren't many dining options nearby, so you'll have to order takeout or eat at the hotel restaurant (dine-in or room service). The location is quite remote, about a 20-minute tuk-tuk ride from the bustling area. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey, and massages need to be booked a day in advance. Breakfast is good, with both Chinese and American options, and quite tasty. The hotel has direct access to a private beach and provides free life vests for snorkeling. There's also a free shuttle service to the beach; just check the hotel's schedule. While the facilities and decor are excellent, there's one major downside: poor soundproofing. Nearby residents party every night, playing music at concert levels until 3 or 4 AM. It's so loud and lively, you might even feel compelled to get up and dance. I highly recommend bringing earplugs if you plan to stay here."

Amazing
SSays_KatyThat's the end of our stay at this hotel in the executive suite. What we liked: Hotel location; Gorgeous landscapes from the room window; Pool area; Spacious swimming pool; Spacious room; The pool is properly planned; Very cute dogs and cats. They cheered us up.; The staff is very polite and tries to help with everything.; Relaxing massage; There was oatmeal on the breakfast menu, which is rare in the Philippines.; Your requests are being listened to. What didn't you like: A small selection of paid breakfast. There is no buffet and you need to choose from the menu. But you can only choose 1 dish and drink for each one. In other words, don't expect to try even a couple of dishes for prepaid money. Here you can choose only 1 dish for breakfast. The rest is paid. It became clear only on the 3rd day of the stay, as they could not understand how the breakfast system worked. We were charged 390 Philippine pesos for SPAM (or rather, three slices of local ham). It's expensive for this kind and quantity of food. •On the last day, the cost of paying for a fruit plate increased. It was 350 pesos, it became 400. •When ordering tom yam, we asked for additional shrimp (+250 pesos). We were served soup with 7 shrimp halves. We still haven't figured out how many shrimps there would have been without the extra ones we paid for. 🙈We thought they forgot to add additional ones. Then we saw the bill and additional shrimps were deposited. •Few seafood dishes. Considering that you are 50 meters from the sea. There are also few products with vegetables. We suffered because of this. There was no light food. •The leaves in each salad were stale. •Service fees were from everything. We understand when the service fee is for food, but we still don't understand why the fee was for a massage. That is, the fee for the massage + the service FEE for the massage. •There were also fees for filming shark swimming on our phone. We also did not understand why the fee, if the tour itself cost 7,500 pesos + 300 pesos was a service fee (again, we do not understand why it is not included in the total cost of the tour) + 260 pesos for shooting on the phone; I was disappointed that when booking an excursion to swim with sharks for 7,500 pesos, fishing was included, but no one offered it to us. They just took us, we swam and brought it back. They say the tour took 5 hours, but it was two and a half hours. •Hand soap has not been refilled in two days; • The automatic circulation of water in the pool was rarely turned on, so we swam with flies for two days... trying to catch them from there; •The performers were an hour late for the first tour, and 30 minutes late for the second. We don't understand why our time wasn't respected. • One shower wasn't working. There was no water coming out of it; • Often they didn't bring half of the dish. That is, if you ordered a meat plate with grapes, cheese and crackers, be prepared that I may not bring you crackers, but there will be 3 pieces of cheese. That's for 590 pesos. We ordered this plate twice, and two times we didn't get any crackers. The second time we asked and they informed us. Also, when ordering mashed potatoes with chicken, they brought us chicken without mashed potatoes. We asked and were informed. Everything was already cold. They didn't add a banana to the banana pancakes. Unfortunately, curtains are not blackout, for those who cannot sleep without them, bring a sleep mask. I write absolutely all the little things, as I am very careful about the service. I really liked this hotel. In any case, I recommend it wholeheartedly. After all, they communicate politely with you here, there are gorgeous views from a spacious room, and there is a large swimming pool. But I have to write down the little things so that the management can improve the quality of service so that staying at this hotel leaves only positive emotions for absolutely everyone! After all, the hotel is really beautiful!

GGuest UserThe Atmosphere The design strikes that perfect, delicate balance between rustic charm and thoughtful luxury. It doesn’t feel manufactured; it feels lived-in and deeply cared for. The Lobby: Less of a reception area and more of a grand living room. There is a massive stone fireplace that burns all day, surrounded by mismatched leather armchairs, stacks of vintage board games, and a self-serve tea station with local honey. The Lighting: You won't find a single harsh, white bulb here. Everything is soft amber, candlelight, and the amber glow of Edison bulbs, which instantly coaxes your brain into relaxation mode. The Room: A Sanctuary of Comfort The bed deserves its own dedicated review. Layered with crisp linen sheets, a heavy down comforter, and a chunky knit weighted blanket, it felt like sleeping inside a cloud. [ Window Seat with Forest View ] | [ Velvet Armchair ] ---- [ Stone Hearth / Gas Fireplace ] | [ King Bed w/ Down Comforter ] Every detail in the room was designed to slow you down: The Nook: A deep, velvet window seat packed with plush pillows, perfectly positioned to watch the morning mist roll over the tree line. The Bath: A deep, freestanding copper soaking tub. They provide small jars of handmade cedarwood and lavender bath salts that made the entire room smell like a woodland spa. The Details: No plastic water bottles or generic tech. Instead, there was a vintage-style Marshall Bluetooth speaker playing soft acoustic jazz when we walked in, a ceramic electric kettle, and freshly baked shortbread cookies waiting on a ceramic plate.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean. We arrived early and the hotel kindly arranged an available room for us to rest in. It's about a five to six-minute walk to the beach, cutting through the Hannah resort in front. The hotel's Alona beach area is also very clean, located at one end of the beach. It's considered a more upscale resort on Boracay.

홍홍또여Overall, this was a satisfying 5-star resort, with the exception of its location. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the security was excellent, making for a comfortable and safe stay within the resort. There were also various activities offered by the resort, so there was plenty to enjoy without even having to leave. Most notably, the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful. It was even more stunning in person than in photos, and I'd be willing to return just for the pool alone. The only slight disappointment was breakfast. While the bread and fruit were good, the overall food selection was less than expected. I had the pho for three days, and the taste varied each day, which felt inconsistent. Additionally, the location is a bit secluded, so many massage parlors and restaurants don't offer pick-up/drop-off services. Most of the time, I had to rely on taxis, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. However, the resort's facilities and services were so excellent that I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, resort-focused vacation. Conversely, for those planning daily excursions for sightseeing or food tours, the location might be somewhat inconvenient. Even if I visit Cebu again, I was so satisfied with this resort that I would book it again just for the swimming pool.

Then the front dest reacts quickly and professionally super friendly. Help you with all your needs. The bar has great staff , quick professional and friendly. Food is great and tasty. If you dont order lunch included, the menu is there and they will make delicious fress meal anytime, can even deliver to your room, if your feeling lazy. The room is clean because the room service is great. New sheets evry day. You always come back to a clean room. The ladies are polite friendly always with a smile and ofcourse beatifull. The pool at the 3rd floor is great and has 2 sauna rooms . And a bar. Nice breeze of wind, and a life saver on watch, as well as security cameras , so no worries about your stuff just leave them on the table. The beach it 5 minutes from hotel. Just walk dont take a taxy. When you enter the beach territory its like from a movie. I was impressed. You can spend there hole day , just swimming eating at a restaurant or the bar. Or have it delivered to you while you enjoy the sun. There was even a concert in the evening. Truly amazing. Will visit again. You feel like at home

GGuest UserThe Hotel and staff did really well during the Sinulog festival! They organised workshop and provided gifts and souvenirs. It is also very close to one of the main festival areas. The only disappointment was the kaldereta we ordered from the kitchen which was ridiculously small amount (1 piece of meat). However there are many restaurants nearby. Hairdryer needs extra payment of 100 peso per night.

JJulie RCHONEST EXPERIENCE and Please read for the CONS🧡 Bluewater Sumilon Island is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful resorts we’ve visited. The private island setting, surrounded by clear waters, creates a unique and relaxing experience. We also appreciated that the resort provides complimentary boat transfers for checked-in guests. The transfer was smooth, organized, and only took around 15 minutes. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with complete amenities and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although our assigned room was quite far from the main areas, the resort’s shuttle service helped make transportation easier. The food exceeded our expectations. Both dinner and breakfast were served buffet-style, offering a wide variety of choices. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. The activity guides, lifeguards, restaurant staff, and service personnel were consistently warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They were approachable and attentive to our requests throughout our stay. We also had an unexpected medical situation involving one of our senior companions, and we were grateful that there was a nurse on duty. The assistance and care provided were professional and reassuring, especially since the incident happened in the evening. However, there were also areas that could be improved. Our experience with the reception staff was disappointing compared to the excellent service provided by the rest of the team. Communication felt rushed, and at times multiple guests were being addressed simultaneously, which came across as unprofessional and less welcoming. The resort shuttle service also seemed overwhelmed during peak hours. With many guests needing transportation around the island, waiting times became longer. Adding more service vehicles could significantly improve convenience, especially for seniors, children, and guests with mobility concerns. Our biggest concern was the lack of exclusivity despite the resort’s positioning as a premium private island destination. The resort accommodates a large number of day-tour guests who share many of the same facilities. As a result, areas such as the sandbar, swimming pools, and lounge spaces often felt crowded. There were times when finding available benches or fully enjoying the facilities became difficult because of the volume of day visitors. For a resort that markets itself as a luxury private island experience, this was quite disappointing. While we understand the value of day tours for the business, overnight guests paying premium rates should ideally enjoy a more exclusive experience and better access to resort facilities. Overall, Bluewater Sumilon Island offers stunning scenery, excellent food, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding service from most of its staff. However, improvements in guest exclusivity, transportation availability, and front desk service would greatly enhance the overall experience and better justify its premium pricing.
