"This is my 3rd stay in this hotel. The location is good and it is relatively cheaper compared to other hotels nearby. However the towels came in late again, just like the last time I stayed here. They said it is still in the laundry. But the ultimate concern I have this time is that their water heater is grounded. I reported immediately as I might get electricuted and they turned off the heater so I did not have hot shower. I hope you do something about this so no one will be hurt."

1. There's music playing in the hallway from morning until night, and it's too loud. You can hear it clearly in the room. A hotel is a place for guests to rest and sleep, not a KTV....
2. The mattress is too soft.
3. Rooms on the third floor are right next to the pool, so you can clearly hear people laughing and chatting, as well as the music from the pool.

"The beach was nice - the sand was smooth and not rocky, the waves are a bit chill. Hence, kid-friendly. Facilities and amenities are nice tho a bit old aready. Since the pool was big, we were able to swim in the pool even though it’s peak season and many people. Morning jog at the lagoon was good as well. We also played billiards and bowling. It’s just sad that the kids playroom was under renovation. It could’ve been a pretty good experience overall."

"I booked a Super King Room at Taal Vista Hotel expecting a proper 5-star experience, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing.
Upon arrival, we waited around 10–15 minutes at the lobby even without a long line. After check-in, nobody assisted us going to our room. The staff only gave directions and did not offer help with our luggage, causing us to get lost looking for our room. We also tried calling for assistance by dialing 4 several times, but nobody answered.
In the end, we had to move our car closer to the building ourselves because the parking area was far from the room. There were also no complimentary welcome drinks or even bottled water despite the expensive room rates.
I understand that our room was in the older building, but the price certainly is not “old.” Compared to other 5-star hotels like Conrad Manila, where staff assist guests immediately and provide much better hospitality, the difference in service is very noticeable.
The view and ambiance are nice, but the customer service definitely needs improvement to match its 5-star reputation."

"Three friends and I stayed here during a trip to the Philippines.
From Manila Airport, we first traveled to the bus terminal in Manila city, then took a two-hour bus ride from Manila to Batangas, and then a one-hour taxi ride from there.
If possible, I think it would be easier to charter a car from Manila.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
We had a great time relaxing by the pool and trying our hand at diving.
There's nothing around the hotel, so we had to eat at the hotel restaurant, but the food was of very high quality and delicious.
They also had a few Japanese dishes, such as tonkatsu, which was nice.
Overall, the prices were high for a resort hotel, but it was a great experience worth the price."

"First of all , I requested for a quiet side and nice view but we ended in a room that can often hear the people talking outside and a drainage or pipe view , staff dragging the cart. Hotel facade or front side ís dark I am not sure if it has something to do with the ongoing construction. Room is outdated and needs more repairs and maintenance. Pillows are just oddly 3 pcs for a standard of 2 pax or guest in a room? Linens too old that needs replacement although it clean .The glass table was loose out how many times luckily never breaks . The toilet basin is clogging and water took time to drain. Shower glass door also loose out and a challenge to close as there’s a risk that it might fall and break if you are not careful in closing .

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit run down but we liked it’s location at Eagle Ridge because we stayed because my daughter had a golf Tournament. Breakfast was okay. The room could use an update. The watercloset was flowing continuously. And the Cabinet doesn’t close properly anymore. But the Service was very warm and welcoming.

SSenioritaEmzIts not too bad, but its not great either... our room was very near to a mango tree where mangoes are falling to a roof of a house under it and its quite disturbing coz It sounds like someone throwing something to our window. The bathroom plug is not working as well once I plug it in, its so hard to pull it out. We always asked our room to be clean but it seemed they just tidy up the beddings but not really changed it. Also, my sister slipped om the wet floor right after she step out of the elevator and there was no safety sign that the floor was wet. But the receptionist is brilliant !

YYengBWe had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was clean, well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable, allowing us to rest well throughout our stay. One thing we particularly loved was the hotel's pleasant scent. The lobby and common areas always smelled fresh and inviting, creating a great first impression.
The location is very convenient, with several restaurants and dining options within the area. There is also ample parking available for guests with private vehicles.
For those without a car, transportation is easily accessible, making it convenient to get around.
One thing future guests should be aware of is the ₱2,000 security deposit per room, which is cash only. It would be helpful if this requirement were clearly communicated during the booking process to avoid surprises upon check in.
The main area for improvement is the breakfast experience. The dining area is quite limited for the number of guests, especially during busy periods, and the food selection could be expanded. The hotel should consider implementing a better system for managing guests during breakfast hours to minimize waiting and crowding. On weekends, opening a function room as an additional breakfast area could be a practical solution to accommodate more guests and improve the overall dining experience.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, accessibility, and convenient location. With some improvements to breakfast operations and clearer communication regarding the security deposit, the guest experience would be even better.

GGuest UserThe room, amenities, hotel ambiance, and service at Via Appia Hotel are great. The staff are friendly, and the place is very comfortable.
The only issue I experienced was with the bathroom heater and hot water. The heater initially wasn’t working, so I called for it to be fixed. The technician came. Tried to fix it and said it was working now. However, when it was time to shower before checkout, the hot water in the bathroom only lasted for a few seconds before turning cold again. I had to turn the water off and on repeatedly to get hot water for short periods. This can be quite inconvenient, especially since the hotel is in Tagaytay, where the weather is very cold.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but improving the hot water system would make the experience much better.

Loved everything and will absolutely book again. Our room was upgraded for free and had an outdoor tub. The room was huge and had a lot of sitting areas. Bed was king size and comfortable and clean. Smart TV can connect to YouTube but you need to sign in to your own Netflix account. Bathroom was huge. I think the room needs more hangers, complementary shampoo, reusable room slippers, scented candle/diffuser and it would be just perfect. Wifi was also fast. Breakfast buffet at pesce was cleansing and delicious for us. Loved walking around the farm, swimming at the pools, and the other services plus, the staff of the farm are very friendly and helpful. Had dinner at the Upperdeck and food was also good and yummy and it felt romantic because a guitarist and a singer serandes us.

GGerard MedinaThe room is quite spacious for its price, I had a great view of the citry on the 23rd floor. The area is well-maintained, the staffs are friendly and very helpful. It has a very peaceful and calm atmosphere, perfect for morning walks and jogging. The clubhouse is huge and packed with many facilities and outdoor activities. The whole property is right in the middle of major hotspots if Tagaytay such as the Skyranch, Mahogany market, famous restaurants overlooking the Taal lake such as Bag of Beans, Rosario, and Starbucks. It's perfect for all kinds of travellers.

DDonato JrWe always had a great time staying at this hotel, but the location is far from downtown. I hope next year they will fix the hot water in the shower and provide mosquito repellent in the room. I also hope the construction by the pool will be completed next year, and that there are no windows in the new building they are constructing, as it would be intrusive if someone could watch you swimming in a swimsuit. Overall, it was a good stay. The staff at Queen Margarete are nice.
