"Although the staff was very friendly, it was a strange experience that no one at the front desk spoke Dutch. Most people can manage with English, and most guests are foreigners anyway, but still. The room is spacious and tidy, with a wonderful rain shower, slightly too soft pillows, and a slightly too firm bed – but that's a personal preference, of course. We were allowed to park for free, which was great service! It's also conveniently close to Schiphol, an excellent location. Overall, a very solid 8.5."

"1. **Room:** A bit small, but perfectly adequate for one person. It had air conditioning, an electric kettle (which looked like blue and white porcelain), adjustable lighting, and more. The facilities were relatively new and well-maintained, with no hidden spots for dirt. If I indicated I didn't need my room cleaned by hanging the 'green' eco-friendly sign, they wouldn't clean it, and in return, I'd get a soft drink voucher for the bar. I used a voucher once to get a sparkling juice from the 2nd-floor bar. **Problem:** Replenishing essential supplies was inconsistent. The tissue box wasn't refilled when I checked in, with only a few tissues left. I mentioned it in the evening and again the next morning, but it wasn't until I went to the front desk a second time on the next evening that it was finally restocked. The same went for towels; I asked twice, and they still weren't changed a day later. Finally, on the third attempt at the front desk, they were replaced. This only happened when I dealt with Southeast Asian front desk staff; when I spoke to European staff, replacements arrived within 10 minutes. Towels and bathrobes also had to be requested; if you didn't ask, you wouldn't get them. The provided bedding, towels, and bathrobes were all quite old, not bright white, and not starched. 2. **Breakfast:** The food was plentiful, the service warm, and food items were refilled promptly, as were used dishes cleared away quickly. Again, the Southeast Asian staff weren't as enthusiastic and didn't greet me as readily, whereas the European staff were equally pleasant to everyone. The restaurant is on the 17th floor with great views. It's quite large, beautifully decorated, and has two serving stations, which is very convenient. There are also two large outdoor terraces perfect for enjoying the view or dining al fresco. On my check-out day, after breakfast, I bid farewell to the European staff, and they even gave me a special hotel lollipop, saying they hoped I'd visit again. 3. The second floor has a lovely, comfortable lounge area and a bar with a somewhat 'creative/cultural' aesthetic in its decor. 4. In spring, there's a direct bus to Keukenhof from the bus plaza below the hotel. You can buy round-trip tickets online. If you're staying at or near the hotel, you can take the bus directly, saving you a trip to Central Station. 5. **Transportation:** There are several train, metro, and bus options nearby. Given how punctual public transport is in the Netherlands, it's very easy to plan your sightseeing. All stations are within a few minutes' walk. 6. **Supermarket and Restaurants:** There's a Dirk supermarket a few minutes away. Near the hotel, there are various restaurants, including Western options like Italian, and Southeast Asian cuisine."

"Recommended for those who just want a private room at the lowest price possible. The room is clean and has all the basic amenities. There’s no hair dryer in the room, but you can borrow one from the front desk. Nice staffs:)"

"When we arrived at the hotel, we received a warm welcome. The lady at the reception, who I believe was the manager, handled our check-in quickly and efficiently. However, when we entered our room, we were shocked. The floors and the areas around the windows were covered in dust, and it seemed that only the bed sheets had been changed. Dust was literally floating in the air. Both my daughter and I have dust allergies, so we immediately left the room and informed the reception. To make matters worse, there was a spider web hanging from one of the lamps, making it feel as if the room had not been properly attended to for months. Even if the room cleaning had been done poorly, we were surprised that there appeared to be no quality control or inspection process in place. After we reported the issue, the room was cleaned quickly. However, when we returned, the spider web was still hanging from the lamp, which showed that the cleaning had not been done thoroughly. The next morning, we experienced our second disappointment at breakfast. There were almost no croissants, bread, or other breakfast items left, and there was not even any hot water available. Only one person was working in the kitchen. When we mentioned the situation to him, he explained that he had just started the job and was trying his best to keep up. We tried to make do with whatever food was available and even brought tea from our room in order to have breakfast. As someone who travels frequently, I am sorry to say that this was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced so far. This was a trip that my family and I had been looking forward to with great excitement, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the issues mentioned above. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these problems. People spend months planning and looking forward to their vacations, and I hope future guests will not have their experience ruined in the same way ours was."

"Last weekend, I took a trip to central Amsterdam, and it felt like stepping into a postcard. The air was crisp, carrying the scent of freshly baked stroopwafels and roasted coffee from the cafés lining the narrow streets. I wandered along the canals, their calm waters reflecting rows of gabled houses in shades of brick and pastel. Cyclists glided past effortlessly, bells chiming as they weaved between tourists and locals. At Dam Square, the hum of street performers mixed with the chatter of people from all over the world. Later, I visited the Anne Frank House, a sobering yet powerful reminder of history, before ending the day with a boat tour at sunset—the city glowing in golden light, bridges lit like necklaces over the shimmering water."

"The hotel isn't in the city center, but getting around by metro is super convenient, and Amsterdam isn't a huge city anyway. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station, and the path is pretty flat, which is great when you're dragging luggage. (Picture 1 shows the view from the metro exit.) Rooms are cleaned daily. There aren't any individual shampoo, conditioner, or toothbrushes, just a single shower gel, but that's pretty standard for European hotels. The pillows are quite high but not hard; I found them easy to sink into and comfortable. The Wi-Fi speed was good most of the time. I couldn't find an on/off switch for the air conditioning, only temperature adjustments. The motion-sensor light in the bathroom was a bit funny – it would go dark after a few minutes! The staff were friendly and efficient. Other than check-in, check-out, and storing luggage, I didn't interact with them much. Luggage storage is free, which is a nice perk. After checking out, there's a restroom, sofa, and charging ports on the ground floor, which is perfect for a quick refresh before heading to the airport. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's a good idea to eat before heading back. Although the room isn't huge, the bed is small and the layout is well-designed, making it surprisingly functional. We could open two large suitcases at once. Overall, it's quite similar to a budget hotel back home, but prices are bound to vary due to location, especially during tulip season when they definitely go up. For the price, it's still decent value for money."

"The hotel's cleanliness wasn't great; there was a thick layer of dust in many areas, which made it feel like housekeeping wasn't thorough enough. It's a shame and a bit of a waste because the hotel's decor and facilities are actually quite nice, and I heard it's an older, well-established hotel. Roomkeeping definitely needs improvement. When I checked out, I mentioned the cleanliness issues to a nice guy at the front desk. He apologized and even waived the parking fee, which was really good service, hats off to him. Breakfast was standard, had everything you'd expect."

"It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, Zaandam. It's a short train ride to Amsterdam Central, and costs just over 3 euros. Be careful, because this is not Amsterdam, so you can't use the Amsterdam tourist pass. It's a relatively new area, so there are many fast food restaurants and clothing stores. The security seemed good. It's almost a straight line from the station to the hotel, so you won't get lost. However, the hotel entrance is a little difficult to find, as it's between the restaurants. There is no front desk, so you use a machine. At the end, your room number will be displayed, so don't forget to check it! The room is small, but I only had a backpack, so it wasn't a problem. It's modern and very clean. Another plus is that the shower room and toilet are separate. The shower water pressure and hair dryer air pressure are perfect. The bed was a king size bed, so I was able to sleep comfortably. Amenities include hair and body wash, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion. The room has a kettle, a very thin refrigerator (which barely holds anything), coffee and tea, a TV, and a safe. (No hangers) There was no noise and it was very comfortable. It's cheaper than central Amsterdam, so I recommend it!"

"The hotel is located near Amsterdam Airport, so it's a bit out of the way with limited surrounding amenities, making transportation inconvenient. The room was generally clean, but the decor is dated and the soundproofing is poor. Service was acceptable, with prompt front desk responses. It's suitable for business travelers catching early flights, but not recommended as a base for sightseeing. Value for money is just average."

"Hotel is located in a little village close to a train station. It is a few stops to Amsterdam Central Station. There are some shops and a Aldi nearby. The room is luxurious and great value. The staff is very nice and very helpful. In my case she was very accommodating when I asked to depart a later for the room."
