"Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel. It's only a few minutes' drive from the airport, and the hotel is located in a quiet suburban area. However, getting to the city center takes about half an hour by car. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, well-maintained, and comfortable, as it just opened in 2026. The service was excellent! I would definitely consider staying here again!"

"1. **Room:** A bit small, but perfectly adequate for one person. It had air conditioning, an electric kettle (which looked like blue and white porcelain), adjustable lighting, and more. The facilities were relatively new and well-maintained, with no hidden spots for dirt. If I indicated I didn't need my room cleaned by hanging the 'green' eco-friendly sign, they wouldn't clean it, and in return, I'd get a soft drink voucher for the bar. I used a voucher once to get a sparkling juice from the 2nd-floor bar. **Problem:** Replenishing essential supplies was inconsistent. The tissue box wasn't refilled when I checked in, with only a few tissues left. I mentioned it in the evening and again the next morning, but it wasn't until I went to the front desk a second time on the next evening that it was finally restocked. The same went for towels; I asked twice, and they still weren't changed a day later. Finally, on the third attempt at the front desk, they were replaced. This only happened when I dealt with Southeast Asian front desk staff; when I spoke to European staff, replacements arrived within 10 minutes. Towels and bathrobes also had to be requested; if you didn't ask, you wouldn't get them. The provided bedding, towels, and bathrobes were all quite old, not bright white, and not starched. 2. **Breakfast:** The food was plentiful, the service warm, and food items were refilled promptly, as were used dishes cleared away quickly. Again, the Southeast Asian staff weren't as enthusiastic and didn't greet me as readily, whereas the European staff were equally pleasant to everyone. The restaurant is on the 17th floor with great views. It's quite large, beautifully decorated, and has two serving stations, which is very convenient. There are also two large outdoor terraces perfect for enjoying the view or dining al fresco. On my check-out day, after breakfast, I bid farewell to the European staff, and they even gave me a special hotel lollipop, saying they hoped I'd visit again. 3. The second floor has a lovely, comfortable lounge area and a bar with a somewhat 'creative/cultural' aesthetic in its decor. 4. In spring, there's a direct bus to Keukenhof from the bus plaza below the hotel. You can buy round-trip tickets online. If you're staying at or near the hotel, you can take the bus directly, saving you a trip to Central Station. 5. **Transportation:** There are several train, metro, and bus options nearby. Given how punctual public transport is in the Netherlands, it's very easy to plan your sightseeing. All stations are within a few minutes' walk. 6. **Supermarket and Restaurants:** There's a Dirk supermarket a few minutes away. Near the hotel, there are various restaurants, including Western options like Italian, and Southeast Asian cuisine."

"The location was a bit further than I expected. It took me about 10 minutes of walking from the nearest tram station, but my luggage were not too heavy so it's not a big problem to me. The price was also affordable and reasonable among most of the hotels I found in Amsterdam. Although it is a little far from central Amsterdam, it's not too complicated to go there using public transport, as you only need to get on one tram and one metro. The room was quite small, but the bed was super large for 2 people, and everything was so clean. I also received good service there even though it was a bit late (11.30pm)."

"When we arrived at the hotel, we received a warm welcome. The lady at the reception, who I believe was the manager, handled our check-in quickly and efficiently. However, when we entered our room, we were shocked. The floors and the areas around the windows were covered in dust, and it seemed that only the bed sheets had been changed. Dust was literally floating in the air. Both my daughter and I have dust allergies, so we immediately left the room and informed the reception. To make matters worse, there was a spider web hanging from one of the lamps, making it feel as if the room had not been properly attended to for months. Even if the room cleaning had been done poorly, we were surprised that there appeared to be no quality control or inspection process in place. After we reported the issue, the room was cleaned quickly. However, when we returned, the spider web was still hanging from the lamp, which showed that the cleaning had not been done thoroughly. The next morning, we experienced our second disappointment at breakfast. There were almost no croissants, bread, or other breakfast items left, and there was not even any hot water available. Only one person was working in the kitchen. When we mentioned the situation to him, he explained that he had just started the job and was trying his best to keep up. We tried to make do with whatever food was available and even brought tea from our room in order to have breakfast. As someone who travels frequently, I am sorry to say that this was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced so far. This was a trip that my family and I had been looking forward to with great excitement, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the issues mentioned above. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these problems. People spend months planning and looking forward to their vacations, and I hope future guests will not have their experience ruined in the same way ours was."

"All in all, pretty good. We were looking for an affordable, last-minute room near Keukenhof during the long May 1st weekend. Everything was quite standard and a bit dated, but clean, and it served its purpose. The staff was very friendly! The parking situation is actually great; we just had the bad luck of arriving in the evening while a wedding was happening in the event hall downstairs. This meant there were no parking spaces left, but I think that was a special circumstance. We just parked on the grass, like many others, so it wasn't a problem in the end."

"The hotel was really nice and clean. The area isn’t touristy, so it’s fairly quiet and nice, but very well reachable by metro: only 13 min subway ride to central station , and the station is a short walk away. Amstel train station is also nearby, which is very convenient. The bed is very comfortable, I loved the towels, which were very soft and fluffy. I found the motion activated light in the bathroom a little annoying, especially since it often went off while I was showering, because no movement could be detected, so I had to open the shower cabine to set the light back on. We did not try breakfast as 23 euro per person seemed a little overpriced. Overall, I found the value good for money. The stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel."

"The hotel's cleanliness wasn't great; there was a thick layer of dust in many areas, which made it feel like housekeeping wasn't thorough enough. It's a shame and a bit of a waste because the hotel's decor and facilities are actually quite nice, and I heard it's an older, well-established hotel. Roomkeeping definitely needs improvement. When I checked out, I mentioned the cleanliness issues to a nice guy at the front desk. He apologized and even waived the parking fee, which was really good service, hats off to him. Breakfast was standard, had everything you'd expect."

"It's about a 10-minute walk from the nearest station, Zaandam. It's a short train ride to Amsterdam Central, and costs just over 3 euros. Be careful, because this is not Amsterdam, so you can't use the Amsterdam tourist pass. It's a relatively new area, so there are many fast food restaurants and clothing stores. The security seemed good. It's almost a straight line from the station to the hotel, so you won't get lost. However, the hotel entrance is a little difficult to find, as it's between the restaurants. There is no front desk, so you use a machine. At the end, your room number will be displayed, so don't forget to check it! The room is small, but I only had a backpack, so it wasn't a problem. It's modern and very clean. Another plus is that the shower room and toilet are separate. The shower water pressure and hair dryer air pressure are perfect. The bed was a king size bed, so I was able to sleep comfortably. Amenities include hair and body wash, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion. The room has a kettle, a very thin refrigerator (which barely holds anything), coffee and tea, a TV, and a safe. (No hangers) There was no noise and it was very comfortable. It's cheaper than central Amsterdam, so I recommend it!"

"Location of the hotel was great. It was a walking distance to the nearest bus stop, and there is a McDonald’s beside the hotel too. There’s free airport shuttle service which made it very convenient to travel to the airport. Room was clean and there’s a gym too."

"What really disappointed me for the price was the lack of breakfast and a coffee machine. The TV was useless; it had channels from almost every European country and a few from China, but none from the Netherlands. I also found it disappointing that the room wasn't serviced daily."
