bilik luas, bersih dan kemas. (room type : newly renovated) Resorti chalet style, tapi convenient sbb bole parking depan bilik terus. Untuk bilik 10/10, utk resort overall 6/10. swimming pool not so well maintained, water slide out of order. kawasan resort besar tp macam under-utilized sbb tak byk facilities, dan nampak tak dijaga dengan begitu baik.

Toilet (lobby level) was filthy. There was no air-conditioner at the lobby nor at Lengkuas restaurant, was informed it has been in that state for a while. Breakfast was good, variety of local delights. Outside eateries are plentiful and Tesco is just across the street. Location is convenient for food hunters and business travellers. View was superb from 14th floor. My room was ok, but my colleague next door had to change her room at midnite due to water leakage and smelly carpet. Overall, the hotel need an upkeep.

I've stayed here several times. It's a nice boutique hotel with basic amenities including a hairdryer. There's no mineral water in the room but there's Coway water purifier outside. Iron and ironing board are also provided outside the room.

Great location for seeing the sights. Modern hotel with room comfortable but a bit tired in places e.g stained shower tiles. However good value for money. The food in the restaurant was tasty but we had to ask for it to be heated up. Breakfast had a reasonable selection for westerners. Staff very helpful.

I had a pleasant stay at Purest Hotel overall. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access nearby amenities and get around the area. I also appreciate the team’s prompt response whenever I made a request — the service was efficient and attentive. That said, one area for improvement would be the pigeon situation at the car park, which could be better managed to enhance cleanliness and overall guest experience. With some attention to this, the stay experience would be even better.

Traveling from Penang to Langkawi, I stayed at this hotel during a layover in Kedah. The bathroom was in poor condition; the underside of the toilet seat had black grime in the crevices. The hotel's facilities are poorly maintained. The water heater broke while I was showering at night, so I had to make do with a cold shower. The front desk did offer to switch rooms, but it was too late, and I was too tired to bother. The room only had a thin blanket, about the same thickness as a bath towel, and no disposable slippers. Furthermore, the soundproofing in the room was terrible; I could clearly hear the sound of an electrical outlet from the neighboring room. There are plenty of food options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Sukiya, FamilyMart, and ZUS COFFEE, which is convenient for dining, but none of them accept WeChat Pay or Alipay. I would advise avoiding this place.

The hotel has animals sculpture like hippopotamus, gorillas, and deers. There are fees laptops to play games at lobby. The staff are helpful and friendly . The room is spacious and clean. The swimming pools has big screens. There are a kids pool with slide and one big pool. There is a gym beside the pool. The breakfast is good with local dishes. We will be back next time.

The hotel itself is well located and has a certain charm. The furniture is quite old, but in a way it adds character to the place. The staff we interacted with were generally kind and polite. However, we had a very upsetting experience with the Ramadan buffet restaurant. We arrived at the hotel around 6:00 PM after a long day of travel with two flights (Phuket to Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi). My mother had been fasting all day for Ramadan and had not eaten or drunk anything. When we saw that the restaurant was preparing the Ramadan buffet, my mother sat down hoping to break her fast there. Unfortunately we were refused and told that reservations had to be made one day in advance. This was very surprising for us, as we had just arrived in the country and could not possibly have reserved the day before. We were directed to another nearby restaurant, but after waiting more than one hour we still had not received any food. During that time my mother — who had been fasting all day — still had nothing to eat, and my two-year-old child was crying because he was hungry. In the end, my mother was only able to eat about two hours after the time of breaking the fast. Aside from this very difficult experience, the hotel itself is pleasant and the staff are friendly. However, I hope the management will consider being more flexible and understanding in situations like this, especially for guests observing Ramadan and families traveling with young children.

YYuanhuaruixiangRebak Island Resort & Marina, the sole hotel on Langkawi's Rebak Island, offered me an unforgettable vacation. If you're seeking a truly secluded sanctuary to connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle, I wholeheartedly recommend this place! The island's environment is simply breathtaking! Surrounded by refreshing scenery, there are plenty of trails to explore on foot. What surprised me most was the excellent ecological preservation here. The hotel even offers a guided one-hour nature walk every Sunday at 8:30 AM. Through this, I learned about many unique Malaysian flora and fauna – it was a truly valuable learning experience! Beyond hiking, we could also cycle. The bay where the hotel is situated is also a significant stop for global sailing, adding a special maritime flair to the entire resort. What truly warmed my heart during this trip was the hotel's service. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I sincerely thank them for that! Our package included dinner, and breakfast was a standard buffet with a wide variety of choices. The dinner menu also offered excellent selection, and both the taste and service left us very satisfied. Even better, despite being on a private island, transportation to and from the mainland was absolutely no issue. There are several complimentary shuttle boat services daily, making it very convenient. Of course, even in a perfect experience, there were some things to get used to. 1. **Soundproofing in wooden villas:** The hotel rooms are older-style wooden villas, usually two stories. If you stay on the ground floor, you will indeed hear the footsteps of guests upstairs quite clearly. 2. **Monkey neighbors:** Because the island's ecosystem is so thriving, we had quite a few monkey neighbors! Everyone needs to be extra careful and remember not to leave your room door open, otherwise, they might come in and ”steal” your food. **Summary:** Putting aside the soundproofing of the older villas and the ”mischief” of the little monkeys, Rebak Island Resort & Marina earned my highest praise for its unparalleled natural environment, rich ecological activities, and thoughtful, attentive service. It was a soulful journey back to nature!

AAbbygel1514I stayed at this hotel in Langkawi during my trip with my husband, and the place was truly stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything felt so peaceful and beautiful. I stayed there only for a night including with breakfast. The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I honestly regretted that we only stayed for one night. Waking up to such a breathtaking view was an experience on its own—the scenery around the hotel was absolutely amazing. One of my favourite parts of the resort was the beautiful swimming pool located right in the middle. It added so much charm to the place and made the whole environment feel even more relaxing and luxurious. Sitting by the pool and taking in the surroundings felt like a dream. I would say this was my favourite stay on my whole vacation there. That said, the journey to the resort was a bit challenging. The road leading up was quite confusing and honestly a little scary, as the resort is located at the top of a hill. Driving up from the bottom felt intense, and the pathway could definitely be improved. But once we reached the resort and stepped inside, it felt like entering heaven. The atmosphere, the view, and the comfort completely made up for the drive. Despite the challenging road, the experience was totally worth it. I truly fell in love with the place, and next time I visit Langkawi, I’ll definitely make sure to stay there longer.

GGuest UserThis family-friendly hotel is absolutely fantastic! Paired with the beautiful Langkawi weather, it made for the best part of our trip. We stayed for two nights during the Chinese New Year holiday with my whole family, including seniors and kids, in a family suite which was a standalone wooden chalet. The hotel environment is excellent, nestled between mountains and water, and it's also right next to the SkyCab, so you could easily spend two days just exploring the area. We also booked an island hopping tour through the hotel, which was convenient, good value, and a great experience. We'll definitely come back next time we have a chance. A special mention to Sofie at the front desk – she was incredibly nice and gentle, providing an excellent check-in and check-out experience for guests. The hotel's Thai restaurant is great, followed by the Malaysian restaurant. We didn't go to the Chinese restaurant; I just glanced at the menu and decided against it. It felt like over 80% of the guests here were Caucasians, and the overall atmosphere, including at check-in and on the beach, was very peaceful.

GGuest UserThis hotel was our best stay in Langkawi, It gave us a little 'White Lotus' vibe. If you like lots of greenary, this hotel is for you. View is amazing. Food was good. Only the minus point was it is a little far away from the main center. sometimes difficult to get a cab after 8, if you want to go to Pantai Chenang. Airport and sky bridge was quite near and also some of the nice beaches of Langkawi. For food, there is an authentic Indian restaurant 'Delhi Darbar' at a walking distance. There is also a cafe nearby. I definetely recommend this place.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our time here though some improvements could be made. The breakfast food area is too built up with people getting in each others way. There were only 2 coffee machines which weren't enough and we didn't enjoy the variety as much as other hotels. We found the fruit quite dry and the warm food not to our liking though that might just be personal preference. The food in the Thai restaurant was fantastic and would recommend eating there at least once. The pool area is lovely with fantastic views and a nice evening atmosphere. We didn't really use it during the day as there is nowhere near enough loungers for the size of the hotel. There is a shuttle service to the beach or you could walk it in around 4-5 minutes. Lovely beach with enough beach bean bags to go around but only about 6 parasols so not enough to go round. There's a beach shack which would have been nice if it was open more than just a couple hours in the afternoon. Other vendors not too far down the beach. Hotel room was a nice and spacious. A/c a little noisy. Clean but not spotless. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and hosptable throughout. Hotel is in a good location for restaurants and about 12 minutes walk to the main buy street. Enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.l

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall. Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process. A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement. The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing. Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception. The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away.

GGuest UserOnline reviews mentioned that staying in Kuah Town would be quieter, but since it's surrounded by seafood restaurants and roads, there were still motorcycle noises around 11 PM or 12 AM. However, it didn't bother us late sleepers, and it quieted down even later. In comparison, Pantai Cenang, being by the sea, would be much quieter. The room felt like an older 4-star hotel. I stayed in a twin room the first night and a king room the second, and for 300, it was generally good value for money. There's an I-Bing bubble tea shop nearby with delicious taro milkshakes, and it's also very close to Wonderland. Parking is very convenient and free.

XxDanielNice hotel with real potential, but it feels neglected and needs maintenance. The rooftop pool is pleasant with great views, though the big umbrella is very rusted and it closes at 7 pm, a bit too early. The room was excellent: large, spacious and really beautiful. Breakfast is a highlight, very good selection and the pancakes were outstanding. Staff is hit or miss: some are friendly and helpful, others seem bored and uninterested. The rooftop restaurant idea is nice, but service was poor. We waited a full hour for dinner while later arrivals got served first, very frustrating. Overall: good bones, great room and breakfast, but inconsistent service and visible wear and tear hold it back. Could be excellent with some care.

GGuest UserGreat location near to Cenang Beach, shops and restaurants. Smooth check in. Staff very very pleasant. Breakfast right next door. Nice room with toiletries, kettle, tea/ coffee sachets replenished daily. Mosquito plug provided. Very small pool with few beds, but who needs it when there is a beach! 15 minutes transfer from airport. Only 3 things to improve....no chairs on the very small balcony......The bathroom is a wet room with nothing to seperate the shower from the rest of the room, so the water splashes over the toilet......only 4 hangers between 2 people. Overall a good place to stay in Cenang. Tip- plenty of places selling trips on the strip, cheaper than on line. Mamgroves/ kilim and the island hopping were great. We enjoyed the sky cab/ walk. Taxis are quick and easy.

OOlivia-TMI admit this hotel is a bit old, so it's not as modern as newly built ones. But when you're in Langkawi, an island style just isn't going to be super modern. However, the hotel's environment and service are excellent. The restaurant and pool are right next to the beach, so having breakfast every day with a sea view is just amazing. The frangipani flowers, which are the hotel's namesake, are everywhere inside the hotel, along with many other beautiful plants and a variety of birds singing. I highly recommend staying here!
