"The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable, which is the most important thing! What really deserves praise is their breakfast buffet; definitely book a room with breakfast, it's excellent value for money. They even have congee, which Chinese people love! Plus, the location is absolutely fantastic, with the train and bus stations right in front of you, making it super convenient for an early morning trip to Tokushima! And there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, like ramen shops and izakayas, all worth checking out!"

"Cosy Ryokan walkable to Iya Valley Vine bridge although it may be steep at the entry/exit slope for elderly n those with mobility issues. The stay was comfortable and relaxing. Public bath was a little small but nonetheless enjoyable. Food wasn't luxurious but showcased their local seasonal eats. If you are driving and only staying overnight , I would suggest packing an overnighter and leaving the big suitcase in the boot as the poor staff will have to lug them up steep staircases to bring to your room. There is free coffee and also a vending machine next to lobby area. There is a small courtyard to chill after dinner and look at the stars after dark. The Futon can be a little thicker as those not used to sleeping on tatami may wake with a stiffer back. It's not a deal breaker though, will still recc the Ryokan if you are planning on staying in the area and enjoying the famous Japanese hospitality."

"Hotel is located near the art museum and next to a beautiful beach with a wonderful sea view. There are two onsen and both are good. And there are several restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisines. The prices are reasonable and we enjoyed a wonderful French Kaiseki. The resort is well managed and guests are warmly greeted and helped with luggage on arrival and departure. It’s highly recommended."

"As others have said, it was like a renovated love hotel. Therefore, the rooms were large, especially the wash basin and bath were spacious and comfortable. I couldn't find any dirt that other people pointed out, and there was no problem with cleaning.
However, I was worried about the unique smell when I entered the room. Probably because of the air conditioning, but when I used plenty of the deodorant provided, it was greatly reduced.
Overall, it was the impression that ”price 〜 Cospa is good”, and it was not as bad as the criticism on the net."

"Nice hotel right next to the train station. Good amenities and clean room and bathroom. We got the breakfast (around 1300yen) and it was decent with western and Japanese breakfast options. In walking distance to everything of importance in Tokushima, would recommend for a short trip!"

"The hotel is located next to Tokushima Bizan Park, about a 15-minute drive from the city center. It has free parking, which is very convenient. But on the way up the mountain, pay attention to the path that turns into the hotel, otherwise it is easy to miss it. The room is spacious and is a Japanese-style tatami room, very comfortable. The room is high above the city, overlooking the city of Tokushima, and the night view is very beautiful. Our accommodation included breakfast and dinner, and we dined at the buffet restaurant. The food was very rich and delicious, and there were also many choices for vegetarians. On the night of our check-in, after dinner, we asked the front desk staff to call a taxi for us to go to the Awa Hall to watch the show. The service staff was very considerate and asked the driver to not only take us to the hall, but also wait for us to finish the show before taking us back to the hotel. There is no additional charge for waiting time. It's really a home service, which is very much appreciated. It was also very comfortable to take a bath in the hotel's large public bath at night. The whole stay was very good. Highly recommended."

2 car parks directly behind the hotel, one of which in the open (park 2), which will obviously make the car rather hot in the summer. Park 1 is covered, though sadly the Nissan Roox Keicar was too tall to fit.

The onsen up top is in need of some refurbishment, but it is frequented by locals, when you visit show room keycard and the nice lady will provide you towels.
The room was large, spacious, clean and the beds comfy, the room looked as if it had been recd to refurbished, and it's directly above a Lawson as well as a tulleys coffee. So lots of convenience.
Just be advised there's not much to do here except the first few shrines of the pilgrimage and some other points that require a car. I wouldn't recommend visiting any other way. And exit to the east via the art museum and circle around via Kobe and Himeji was a highlight of our trip.
Hotel is excellent and very good value for money. Recommended."

A very pleasant stay! The service was friendly and polite, and the small cable car onsen was a unique experience! The private bath (charged price) is highly recommended; the environment is tranquil and spacious with excellent views! Taking the hotel's used car at night, listening to vintage Japanese songs, to the Mangqiao Bridge for the night view was a unique experience!
The landlady was very kind and even sang a beautiful song during dinner!
They quickly helped me send any forgotten items to my next hotel!
Highly recommend staying here!!!
This is even better than Wa-no-Yoku!

I was looking for a place to stay with no meals around Kazurabashi Bridge, and this one happened to be cheap so I booked it. There was a parking lot, the directions were easy to understand, and the staff were very friendly!
The bathroom and toilet were shared, but there was a bathtub in the bathroom and it was spacious enough for one person. The toilet also had a washlet and was very clean.
The room was also very spacious! It depends on the cost-performance ratio and the places you are visiting, but if you are going to Kazurabashi Bridge, it is very convenient as it is very close by!
The community space? had manga and a nostalgic Super Nintendo, and I played with other people staying there!
It was a guesthouse I would like to stay at again 😁

Guest UserThere is a direct bus from Mingmen Station, but there are not many shifts and it takes only 15 minutes to walk. There is a big supermarket at the door, and everything to eat is available and not expensive. The welcome drink is gone until 22 o'clock, and I also enjoyed the last wave of iced drinks. The single room is a standard Japanese single room, not big, but one person is also enough, the health is very clean, the bed is very comfortable to sleep, there are many spare parts downstairs to pick up. Breakfast is in a very retro restaurant on the first floor. There are buffets such as vegetable fried fish omelets, and some homemade small stews, which are delicious. There is a bus at the entrance of the hotel to go directly to the art gallery and the boat house to see the whirlpool, which is very convenient.
