Hotels With parking in Iwate Prefecture, Japan

Our second stop on this East Japan trip was Morioka. The hotel is right across from the station, but I didn't dare cross the road because there was no pedestrian sidewalk. So, I took the underground passage instead. Since it was my first time there, I wasn't familiar with the area and had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. Luckily, there weren't too many steps. I actually didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The service was excellent, and it's conveniently connected to a Lawson convenience store; you can enter the hotel directly with your room key. I heard the breakfast was good, so I bought one day's worth to try it out. It was 2600 JPY per person, and breakfast started at 6:15 AM. The Japanese really wake up early – there was already a queue before it even opened! The single room was very spacious, and the soundproofing was excellent. The price was also very reasonable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Morioka.

This onsen hotel is excellent overall. Upon arrival, staff proactively met us in the parking lot, even holding an umbrella to shield us from the rain. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and spoke fluent English, which made communication easy. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. The tatami room was spacious, and the adjustable chairs were very comfortable. The balcony offered a beautiful view, and enjoying afternoon tea while looking at the snowy scenery was worth the price alone. The onsen facilities offer a great variety, including three free private baths (貸切風呂), one of which is wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for elderly guests. The outdoor onsen, with its stunning snow views, was particularly beautiful. I definitely need to plan another trip here in the autumn.

We were two people staying 3 nights. We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good. The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat. They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen). We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob. It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well. After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem. The people at the hotel were very nice and polite. Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel.

The location of this hotel is very good, just on the edge of the pure land, you can also book the shuttle back and forth to Miyako Station in advance. We took the shuttle at 16:00 to Miyako Station from Miyako's Beishan rugged to Miyako Station on the same day. When we returned, we took the photo directly from the pure land shore and took the bus to the station. The hot spring temperature of the hotel is not very high, the indoor and outdoor scenery is very good, the men's and women's soup will change every day, so we have soaked in the evening and morning, very comfortable. The hotel restaurant has an evening buffet on the same day, and there are some banquets/restaurants booked by the company or team. There are no restaurants that are open to tourists walking in and a la carte. We walked back and forth for about an hour to the nearest convenience store for dinner. From the hotel to the road, I didn't need to hit the flashlight. The stars at night were beautiful. The bar was open at night. The special wine was 800 yen. The value was still good but it was not good. It was not recommended. There are many types of breakfast. I am very happy to sit by the window and eat breakfast while watching the sunrise in the morning. I like this natural scenery very much. The overall environment and facilities can give full marks. The attitude of the front desk at this hotel is generally given to the tail room, and the room given is not the size of the area written on Trip.com . The hotel confirmation form 36-40 flat room is at the front desk. It shows that it is a pine forest side room. There is no size, visually 20-24 flat, The front desk did not change it, so after negotiating with Trip.com on the same day, it should be that the information provided by the supplier when booking online has been wrongly given a certain point compensation, which has a little impact on the good mood of travel.

The best ski in and ski out and Onsen hotel in Japan so far! We loved the hotel so much in Oct 2025 so we rebooked and came again from Dec 20-24, 2025. 1. Very convenient for ski experience. Ski in and ski out. Ski rental and ski coach school are just besides hotel. Good experience for rentals and coaches hiring. 2. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great and so yummy! The food does change every night to give you diversified variation to choose from. Very delicate food preparations by great chefs so don’t worry you will never get bored. 3. Onsen is also great great great! Great view and women and men get alternate the hot spring pool everyday. 4. First floor relaxing area is great great! You have self service bar of juice / soda / coffee and popsicles. 5. The hotel staffs are so nice and make you feel at home. Motoyo-San is extremely friendly and her English is so fluent!!! We were very lucky to have her help out during our stay. 6. 3rd floor is newly renovated so pls try this beautiful room next time! Highly recommend!!!! Great for family and couple trips!

I chose this hotel because it was a new, conveniently located hotel right by the station. **What I liked:** * The room was clean and spacious. * They offered three different kinds of soup as amenities. * The room wear was a separate top and bottom set. * There was a large public bath. * Welcome drinks and post-bath ice cream were available until 1 AM. * I could check various things on the in-room TV (e.g., public bath crowding, availability and end time of laundry machines). **What was a bit confusing:** * The room's air conditioning control panel (it was a digital display under the TV). * There was no coffee with the amenities (located next to the lobby on the 1st floor), so I had to go to the welcome drink area (on the 2nd floor) to get some. Overall, it was a very comfortable space with attention to detail. I'd like to stay here again.

The facilities at Abhi Hotel are excellent, with a microwave, vending machines, an ice maker, and a washing machine – all very convenient. The food and the staff's service attitude are also great, especially the Chinese-speaking intern who was incredibly friendly and kind, helping us with all our questions. Thank you for your help!

I stayed at this place during my hike through the Michinoku coastal trail. This is a good choice before you attempt Kurosakiso and Kitayamazaki coast. This can be reached easily from Horinai station. Cross the big bridge and walk a bit more, you can see the sign to the left. The hotel has nice indoor and outdoor onsen. Many locals come here to use the onsen. They probably have annual or life membership to use the onsen. It is a nice opportunity to chat with some of them. When I was there, it was raining and hence I could not enjoy the view, however, using onsen after hiking in the rain was quite relaxing. On a clear day, the ocean can be seen from the room window. Dinner can be ordered and is quite good at a reasonable price. The next day, the hotel shuttle dropped me to the train station which was quite nice, I did not have to walk in rain.

This hotel is really out-of-the-way; I'd recommend driving. It's mainly a place to go if you want to ski, as it's by a ski resort. I found the area to be very quiet. The hotel food was excellent, though you'll need some level of Japanese proficiency to effectively communicate with the staff. You can enjoy a bath in your room, or the hot springs downstairs. Overall quite nice, the rooms have a cottage feel.
