This is my second stay at a Mitsui Garden Hotel, the last one being in Tokyo. The hotel chain consistently offers great service. This particular hotel is very close to Nagoya subway station, about a 5-7 minute walk. There's an underground shopping area right below where you can eat and shop, and a 7-Eleven across the street for breakfast or snacks. Within about a 5-minute walk, you'll also find popular eateries like Sekai no Yamachan, Isomaru Suisan, and Torikizoku, which is very convenient.

First off, the hotel's location is excellent, which was the main reason I booked it. Metro Exit 10 has an elevator, and it's just a 5-minute walk past a 7-Eleven to reach the hotel. You check in yourself at the lobby on the second floor. There's free luggage storage nearby, and a pantry with ice available, which is a great touch. The laundry room also provides complimentary disposable items, a very thoughtful variety! The room size was ample enough for two suitcases, and it was cleaned daily. Overall, a very satisfying stay. There are also famous fried chicken spots and many local restaurants around the hotel. Great value for money, highly recommend!

This hotel is conveniently located on the 15th floor of Nagoya Station Gate Tower Mall. Floors 9-10 house Bic Camera, and Uniqlo and GU are on the 11th floor, making shopping incredibly easy. There's also a popular restaurant on the same floor that often hosts lively events. You'll even find a pharmacy and convenience store on the same level.

The spacious room and the layout of everything in the room created a comfortable atmosphere that made us feel comfortable staying in the room for a long time. The staff was very responsive and friendly when we first checked in. The hotel is located not far from Nagoya Station. If I come back to Nagoya City, I will stay again at Hotel Nikko Style.

Location is excellent. Near metro and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. Only downside is its in the adult entertainment area. But the ladies carrying the advertisements left the tourists alone. Other than that you would not notice you are in an adult entertainment area

This is a local Japanese hotel chain. The facilities are decorated in a Japanese style. Although it opened many years ago, it's still very comfortable overall. The rooms aren't huge, but they have all the necessary functions. For dining, the hotel has buffet, Japanese, Chinese, and French restaurants on the first and second floors, and the quality is consistently good. The location is very convenient, not far from the Sakae shopping district and the subway station. There's also a direct bus from Chubu Centrair Airport (NGO), so everything you need for food, drinks, and entertainment is within reach. The service was excellent. Although there was a slight hiccup where our luggage was taken by mistake after we checked it, the hotel staff quickly arranged to retrieve it, and it didn't cause any delays.

I had to choose this hotel near Nagoya Station during the F1 season because there were no other options, but it turned out to be surprisingly convenient and comfortable: a 1500 yen taxi ride to Nagoya Station; a 7-Eleven right downstairs; Patagonia just across the main road; a 6-minute walk to Nagoya Tower & Hisaya Odori Park; 8 minutes to Kato Coffee; and 15 minutes to Montbell/Mitsukoshi Department Store/LACHIC. The room was tiny with no closet, making it difficult to store luggage, but all other facilities were fine. The public bath on the 14th floor and the breakfast on the 2nd floor were delicious, especially the udon noodles, hitsumabushi (three ways to eat eel), red bean toast, and siumai.

It was very beautiful and comfortable. It is also attractive to put it in the hot spring next door! I was happy that I could get a sample of shampoo and conditioner (I don't know if it's an event) for women. It is fully equipped with heating and cooling, but it may be difficult to spend too hot or too cold, so it may be more comfortable to avoid it. The toilet was clean and I enjoyed using the BBQ grill.

Pros: 1. Good location 2. Comfy bed for rooms with 2 beds (twin *2 set up) Cons: 1. Slow insufficient elevators to tansit from lobby at 24F to 7F or 1F (to get out of the building) 2. AC vent blows right in your face (pic 1) 3. Do not book their kind bed room as it is not an actual King bed. It is very misleading to sell king bed room when it's actually 2 beds pieced together with a thin mattress cover. (And the mattress cover is made to hide the twin bed from direct view) 4. Like others said, the sides are too small to quickly get out of the bed. Have to shuffle to the bottom of the bed to get out. Fell asleep in the middle of the bed, felt weird but was too tired and passed out. Woke up with sore back from the bed and sore drybthroat from the AC blasting in my face all night. Took a look and it seemed like a king bed (pic 2), but it felt weird so checked again and found that its not a real king bed, but 2 bed pieced together with mattress topper wrap to appear like a king bed. I felt cheated that I was sold a room with king bed but it was not a real king bed. I expected better attitude from a 4 star hotel especially it is a newer hotel and in Japan. This action is a violation of Meiyo (honor) and Shokunin (craftsman) ethics. Pic 4 & 5 & 6 helps explains it from a third party view (I wanted to make sure what I felt was not biased or due to personal preference, so I double checked with google AI for ”third person” perspective) In summary: Selling two bed pieced together as a King isn't just a ”hack”—it's a betrayal of the Wa (harmony) between the maker and the user.

I had a fantastic stay at ibis Styles Nagoya! The first thing that hits us is the cool, industrial market-themed design. It’s very photogenic and a nice break from standard business hotels. The location is perfect; it’s an easy 8–10 minute walk from Nagoya Station and right next to the Yanagibashi Central Market, which is great for morning exploration. The room is a bit compact but incredibly smart with their layout. Highly recommend for anyone who wants style without the massive price tag.

GGuest UserI'm extremely satisfied with this hotel's location and room layout/amenities. The Rong business district has everything you could possibly need for dining and shopping. I booked a larger room type, which was essentially the price and size of two standard rooms. I saw a family of three next to me convert the sofa bed into a single bed, which seems perfect for them. As mentioned in previous reviews, the hotel staff can be quite aloof; the older local employees don't offer any pleasantries. I appreciate that you need to swipe your card in the elevator to access guest floors, making it feel very secure.

WWufaxianshiThe hotel's location is fantastic, right by Kanayama Station, making transport super convenient. There's a huge Aeon supermarket downstairs, which is really handy, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and had good soundproofing.

GGbooThis is a Meitetsu Inn property, so the rooms are on the smaller side, with typical Japanese unit baths. At night, the street below transforms into a vibrant, neon-lit entertainment district. The location is excellent, very close to Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle, and right by Hisaya-odori Subway Exit 4, just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast on the first floor, though simple, is quite good. The restaurant offers complimentary tea and coffee all day (until 9 PM) and has a microwave. Vending machines are located on the 4th and 11th floors. There's also a self-service laundry. Amenities are available for self-service right next to the elevators on the first floor, facing the front desk. The front desk service was the most 'Showa-era' (old-fashioned, warm, and attentive) hospitality I've ever encountered – incredibly friendly. Perhaps because it was a Saturday, the price I paid seemed to be about double the usual rate. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe room was super value for money. Decent room size given the amount that we paid per night.. and they even have a chair in the washroom so that u can sit down while doing your makeup etc?? Staff were all very friendly and kind, which made the stay very comfy and enjoyable. :) It’s a short walk from the JR station, and there’s a rather big convenience store nearby called Ministop. Very comfortable bed and pillows I love it so much. It felt ok for me and my friend (both female) to walk back to hotel from the station at night. A couple of drinking places nearby so it’s very lively at night. I might be hesitant to stay in the area if I was alone though. But with friends it’s fine! Also, don’t miss the entrances to the underground shopping area ESCA. Easy access to restaurants, ***** stores/pharmacies, and other stores for shopping.

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. 1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process. 2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue. 3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up. 4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient. Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.
