"This hotel is located near the university of Jordan. And nearby many restaurants. The room is clean and their staff responses fast when we request some services. However, there was some mistake that we reserved a room with 3 single beds for 3 persons, but we got the room with 1 double bed and 1 extra bed at the first night eventhough we have reserved in advance many days before we check in. The other points is nice 👍."

"A pleasant stay, felt just like home. I'd like to thank the receptionist, Adeeb, for his excellent attitude and service. (No offense to the other staff whose names I don't recall.) A great feature is that the hotel is located inside the Galleria Mall, which has most major brands, plus arcades and activities for kids under 4. I highly recommend it! 🌹"

"I was extremely dissatisfied with the hotel. Firstly, no one warned me that renovations were underway. Secondly, you have to make a huge fuss to get through to reception. Only after you ask for a refund and plan to move to another hotel will they offer you a quieter room and stop the renovations!!! 😡
I called reception and asked to change rooms because it was very noisy. I'd been on flights for several days and was planning to finally get some sleep. They promised to check with the receptionist and call me back, but no one ever did. The noise from the renovations was so loud, it was like someone was literally drilling and breaking concrete over your head. I went down to reception and asked for a refund so I could go to the Hilton and relax there. The hotel was required to inform guests about the renovations, but they didn't. They were undergoing a full-scale renovation on a certain floor, and no matter where you were moved, the sounds would reach every room!!
Only after I demanded to cancel my reservation and move out of this hotel did they stop the entire renovation process.
My refund and cancellation request were REFUSED! They told me to contact the aggregator I booked with. I wrote to trip.com and submitted a cancellation request with a refund, which the hotel itself again happily rejected! I received no compensation or refund from the hotel, and what's more, they didn't bother to apologize in any way. A hotel of this caliber with such disgusting service is simply disgraceful.
After the noises of renovation stopped, I went to bed, and then my neighbors' wild adventures began again. It felt like a ******* was located in the room above...
As for the furniture, it was quite outdated. It was clean, but it felt as if everything, from the closet to the glass in the bathroom, had been from a bygone era.
The only thing I'm grateful for is the girl who greeted me upon check-in. I'm incredibly grateful for her compassion and understanding. If it weren't for her, my entire experience at this hotel would have been extremely negative. It's only because of her that I'm giving the service a 4 instead of a 1!"

Stayed at this hotel for a 2nd time & the room was not so clean as the 1st room & was more outdated and had a horrible strong smell! Other than that everything else was good, breakfast is decent, we only stayed for the night so didn’t want to spend much! Beddings were clean! The pool is open from 6am till 11pm. However, it’s for women and children till 2pm and men can use till 11pm, no women & children allowed after 2! But it’s full of men at all times, they should’ve had a ladies timings too

Callum TAn overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement.
Pros:
- Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight.
- Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar.
- The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner.
- Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info).
- Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants.
- Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part.
Cons:
- The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments.
- New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable.
- A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning.
Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

Breakfast was a delightful surprise, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes. What really impressed me was the hotel gym – it was fully equipped, meticulously clean, and had a great selection of machines in a bright, airy space. There was even a comfortable relaxation area afterwards, making for a truly superb workout experience. The service was attentive and thoughtful throughout, with quality evident in every detail. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip and highly recommend it to everyone!

MR101Great stay with excellent service I recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Amman and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free.
The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay.
Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience.
Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

The only minor inconvenience was having the sink in the room instead of the bathroom, which wasn't very comfortable or practical.

I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Amman from Wednesday to Thursday, and it was a short but truly pleasant experience.
Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay.
🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful.
🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right.
📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman.
Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made sure my short stay was enjoyable.

This is a great budget hotel suite, fantastic location and a massive room with fridge TV and air conditioning including tea and coffee making facilities.
The staff were friendly and at a very reasonable price.
The hotel suite deserves a 5* rating because of the location which is close to all the amenities however the bathroom room was of poor standard and a lot of insects were flying around especially in the bathroom.
The drains needed sorting out as on one night the smell was very strong at about 1am in the morning.
This hotel claims to be wheelchair friendly but unfortunately it's only wheelchair friendly if you are not travelling alone.
I phoned the hotel on two occasions before arriving to inquire about facilities for wheelchair users and was told I can enter the hotel via a ramp used for luggage but unfortunately the ramp was very steep although they did offer to help me when needed.
I also wasn't informed that the dining room was not accessible although there was a lift to the bedroom.
They were kind enough to bring the breakfast to my room although it was tasteless.
There was a ladies long hair on the bedsheet and the cleaning of the room could be improved.
I do hope the management will take my advice and publish the correct information regarding facilities for wheelchair users especially for those who are traveling on their own like myself.

In some rooms there are no hand shower, so be careful about that 🤪 one problem I found was the dental kit, they don’t provide toothbrush / dental kits, so don’t forget to carry them with you.
