"One of the most beautiful hotels I have been at for a while - so modern, awesome style and lots of small nice things that make a difference: a fridge, free bottled glass water, free coffee machine with nespresso capsules which are topped up everyday AND a crazy comfy bed … ohand an awesome view from the bed itself! The rooftop pool is great but there are not sun loungers, rather just chairs and stools (to be honest, this is to be expected as the rooftop is not big enough really for loungers - on the plus, towels are included and provided for free)."

"The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the bus station, which is perfect for travelers needing to transfer, like us who did a day trip to Plitvice Lakes – it was very accommodating for our early departures and late returns.
The room itself was quite spacious, but there wasn't much surface area to place belongings, especially in the bathroom where there was almost nowhere to put anything, which felt like a waste of space.
General cleanliness was acceptable, but the details were lacking. I wiped down the heated towel rail and found a significant amount of black grime. The shower area only had a half-screen without a door, so the shower water completely soaked the bathmat, which was a bit unpleasant.
There aren't many amenities in the immediate vicinity, just a few pizza places and bakeries. The first one past the bus station, along the street, had relatively good food."

"Hotel is located conveniently, especially if traveling by car. When I arrived, while taking a shower I realized that the bath drain was clogged and had to clean it myself (as I was already soaking wet). Obviously, clearing out other people's hairs wasn't my idea of a well maintained bath in a 4-star hotel so I complained at the reception. They apologised, but it was all a bit too late. In general, the shower could use some TLC as the toiletry shelf inside the shower was not clean as well (had some mold on it). Other then that, the room was adequate, and the location of the hotel allows for a good sleep, even with windows open as it is far enough from busy streets.
Breakfast was mediocre - croissants were semi-baked, almost raw inside and definitely just baked to finish from frozen (not freshly made in hotel bakery). The selection of food was meh, but it wasn't horrible."

"Receptionist Darko is so helpful & friendly. Whatever inquiries you have he will help you. Thankful he helped us get a taxi to the airport for a good price. The staffs at the Butler restaurant are so helpful especially Maria-always with a happy face to greet diners. They are all accomodating in helping you choose the recommended cuisine to try. Location is very convenient to public transport. We tried to help the environment by not asking for change of towels everyday but the housekeeping are always eager to change our towels. Toilet in the room is very spacious. Breakfast is very abundant- a good start for the day. Electric sockets are limited in the room. Good location. Hope aircon is always working as sometimes not enough for a hot day.
Windows can be opened but at night noises from the street. Unusual flavours but yummy pizzas for dinner..Not many English speaking channels on tv."

"The hotel was a convenient stop off to allow me to wait overnight until my connecting flight to Pula the next day, staff were very friendly and I was offered free breakfast and a change of room due to the room door handle coming off. I had enjoyed my dinner at the hotel but breakfast offerings seemed limited and some of the fruits on offer was dated. Overall a pleasant stay. 🙋♂️🇭🇷"

Guest UserFantastic location. Sauna is available to book for free for private use. The best thing was the massage - it was really good. The only issue was the air condition which was changed to heating during the time we visited (summer transitioning to autumn) so it was a little warm at night. Unless you took the garden facing room, the road/ trams noises will be uncomfortable to leave the windows open through the night. Having said, the staff service were good.

Perfect!!! Absolutely everything – from its location not far from the bus station, to the optimal level of comfort, coziness, and amenities, simply incredible breakfasts, and of course, the excellent work and friendliness of the staff! Even its slight distance from the center of Zagreb is practically unnoticeable – a 20-minute walk lets you get to know the city better. Everything positive said in reviews about this hotel truly corresponds to reality. Well done, keep it up!

That said, the rest of the interior is showing its age. The furniture and furnishings are visibly worn and could use replacing. It doesn't ruin the stay, but it is noticeable and brings the overall experience down a notch.

Guest UserThe hotel is right in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from the University of Zagreb. You simply turn left out of the hotel entrance and walk straight. There are many historic buildings nearby, making it a great area for a stroll. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the room size is decent, with enough space left after opening two 28-inch suitcases.

In need of refurbishment from a cosmetic perspective, as the carpet in my hotel room was worn and tired. No body wash and had to ring housekeeping for refill… perhaps this should be checked regularly with cleaning. Cannot fault the care demonstrated towards guests and breakfast quality. A grand old lady of Zagreb that will always draw me to her. Fantastic location. Highly recommended.

This was a 5-star stay for me. I spent 2 nights. Oliver was friendly and very responsive. The room was perfect. Mini fridge, hot water kettle, and instant coffee/tea was provided, as well as 2 bottles of water.
The place was very clean and comfortable. The location is just about a 5 minute walk to the Zagreb Kolodvor (bus station) and about a 30-minute walk to old town. It's located on a quiet street with few cars driving by.
Free wifi. Grocery store, Konzum, was a couple of blocks away.
I would definitely stay here again!

First things I like to express my appreciation to Toni at front desk who's very friendly welcoming my first day check in and helping me when I have problem with rental car. He really put his effort making so many calls when the rental car didn't response well, but finally all problem solved. And he sent his regard throe his friend at front desk on my second check in after 7 days traveling to Split and Dubrovnik, his name also Tony and he also very friendly.
Thanks to both of you Toni & Tony ( I hope I didn't wrong spelling your name )
It's highly recommend for all type of traveler, the room is very quite, I can't hear anything from next room or outside, sleep like a baby. I love the spacious shower room and all luxury amenities. If not mistaken I think this is a brand new hotel.
Since i drive a car, for me location is not important, 8 minutes drive to the old town, not too far. I like the neighborhood is so quite.
Breakfast has many menus and tasty too.
Overall is perfect , one thing I don't like is the dimming lights.
If they have a brighter light, I will be so happy.
