"This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. ."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The room was modern with ample tea and coffee provided, and I was easily able to adjust the heating. There was little noise from other guests or outside and I would most definitely stay here again if I return to Sheffield for a concert - the proximity to the bus station is also excellent."

"The receptionists were lovely, very friendly & helpful. The room was a good size & the bed was really comfortable. There was only one bath & hand towel but an extra set was brought up straight away. The only negatives for me was the window was a solid pane so didn't open but the air con wasn't cool enough, and the pillows were uncomfortable."

"Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, everything you need. I had an issue with the radiator on the first night as it just wouldn't turn off, this was quickly sorted once I told a member of staff. On my last night I couldn't get into my room with the keycard, it was already gone midnight so I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep, It took 2 trip's to reception from the top floor before this was resolved which left me quite annoyed. On my last morning I paid for breakfast, It was a little disappointing, very basic selection on the continental side and the sausages were very poor quality and couldn't eat. There is however a Toby carvery across the road where I had breakfast the day before at a cheaper price, I would recommend going there instead"

"Love this hotel ❤️ 2nd stay here this year Came for a birthday treat and Antonia on the desk treated us to a late checkout and 2 free drinks at the bar! Great customer service. The beds are the most comphy beds I've slept in....would have took it home if I could! Great location for the train Station and lots of near by car parks if you drive. The bar has a good vibe sells a mice range of beer including Camden Pale Ale. Good ciffeea too at reasonable prices. The bar staff are very friendly. The all you can eat and drink breakfast is 10/10 and is on until 11amnat the weekend...perfect after a big night out Would definitely recommend 👌"

"The reception staff were very welcoming, the bed was quite comfortable, and the location was good—supermarket within a few minutes' walk. The less satisfying aspects were that the room windows couldn't be opened, and the hotel's cleaning service was practically non-existent. I mentioned to the front desk several mornings that I wanted the room cleaned and even hung the ”please clean” sign on the doorknob, yet the room wasn't cleaned each day. It's unbelievable that a chain hotel has such poor cleaning standards."

"This is a good budget hotel, especially if you want to stay near to city centre or Rotherham general hospital 😊 The bedroom and bathroom are really spacious. There are basic stuffs available.😊 The parking is really spacious and free for 24 hours.😊 There is problem with temperature regulation of bathroom, especially shower. 😔  There wasn’t any towel available, so I rang them and they told me that they will bring one within 5 minutes, which neither arrived nor we were communicated about. If you can’t provide then just tell the customer it’s not available.😔 And there is no slipper available in bathroom/room. These are just reminder for someone willing to stay at a budget price in this hotel. 😔  Overall this was a good deal for me to spend a night near to Rotherham general hospital.😀😀"

"Lovely room, lovely setting, good breakfast. Water in room would have been nice, but this is just a minor thing. For people who like tea and coffee there is plenty of choice!"
