"A very typical, standard, simple, not too expensive, city centre hotel offering is everything needed for a single night in Sheffield. Blonk Street car park now closed and alternative alongside hotel not cheap by any means. However, that's city centres for you."

"The location is good, the room was pleasant and spacious. But the staff were a little slow, it took a long time to check in even though there were three staff on reception and one person before me, two were on the phone together. I understand busy times but they weren’t particularly in a hurry to help, explain or apologise. Also had a drink at the bar and again, the staff were a little slow to help. They were fine and adequate but not particularly friendly. I have worked in customer facing roles and I’m not expecting the world but some hotels go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the staff here could definitely improve in this area. There was nothing wrong at this hotel and it was adequate for my needs but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again."

"Staff brilliant. This hotel is in a service area on a motorway. Very little noise. Food issue but not hotels fault, If you check in after 21.30 limited food available as most shut @ 22.00. Then there is the price of food and drink. £6.20 for a large mocha My recommendation stop at a tesco(other shops available) Get a meal deal 😂😂"

"This is the second time I have stayed in the Leopold. It is a basic hotel, but delivers high-quality rooms, a good breakfast, and a perfect location for exploring Sheffield. The building is curious, as it is a converted school. It also opens directly (at the back) on to a pedestrian plaza with multiple bars and restaurants."

"Hampton by Hilton is one of the cleaner hotels in Sheffield, and the complimentary breakfast with every room is a great perk! However, if you're arriving by train or bus to the city center, it's about a 20-minute walk to the hotel, including three big uphill climbs. I wouldn't recommend it for elderly guests or those with lots of luggage, as it can be quite tiring. But if you're a traveler who enjoys city walks, then I highly recommend this hotel. The staff are wonderful and provide excellent, thoughtful service. They also offer luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, as well as a gym!"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The room was modern with ample tea and coffee provided, and I was easily able to adjust the heating. There was little noise from other guests or outside and I would most definitely stay here again if I return to Sheffield for a concert - the proximity to the bus station is also excellent."

"WE HAD A FRIDGE The toilet sit had some soap smudge on it and initially thought is something else but if foamed when tried to clean it (I always have sanitizer with me as is only human to miss a spot and do a mistake. Didn't kill me cleaning that myself. Housekeeping job ain't easy. Bless you all. Just keep a better eye to avoid Karen type❤️) The receptionists were all friendly and happy to assist me with both check in and check out. We absolutely loved our room and the view was magnificent. The dawn was heavenly seen from our window❤️ What I loved the most was the fact that in the room we had a FRIDGE. Many hotels don't have that anymore and imagine having a room without a fridge with this heatwave going on 🥵 I will attach a photo with our beautiful view🤩 This hotel will be my top choice whenever I'll need a room around the area. Clean room, clean hallway, clean reception area. Please keep an eye for the accessible rooms. Read all description and detail before booking as they have special rooms for people with a health condition and the room will have some things at a low level to the ground. Will be your fault for not choosing the right room not the hotel's as you need to read description always. Don't take it out to the staff for your own mistake😊 Seen a lot complaining about that, as I've seen also about the rooms accessible and didn't understand the term initially, until I went through the details. After reading the details I knew exactly what room I need to book and what would not be convenient for me🙌 Bless you all and hope this review will be of help to some of you at least 😊"

"Arrived late, but easy check in with two people at reception. Cold filtered water available for anyone. Room was perfect size for two travellers, aircon was on so room was cool on a particularly hot night. showerroom was spacious and clean. Good breakfast, easy checkout"

"Spartan room. Everything you need, nothing more. Double bed was small, fine for a solo traveller. Breakfast cheap and limited. Good value. Staff friendly and helpful. A 20 minute walk from the town centre."

"This isn't my first stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, the customer service hasn't improved. Even ordering a simple drink from the bar was met with a frown. I stay here only because it's convenient for my business needs, but it's disappointing that the staff seems so disengaged, which leaves a negative impression. The breakfast was dry and unappetizing, almost like eating rocks. Given the standards of Ibis hotels, I'm quite shocked at the poor condition and service here."
