"I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch."

"Rooms are extremely light and clean, sturdy beds. On the hotels official website, it states the rooms air air conditioned, however, this is not true. When we asked the guy on reception, he tried to convince me that I’ve read it wrong and tried to make me out as being stupid, but it clearly states the rooms have aircon but only the reception/lobby has air con. The room was very comfortable, could do with having some netting as looks directly into the offices across the way, unless you close the curtains."

"**Hotel Review: Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa, Cheshire** As a solo traveler with my beloved sausage dog, Stanley, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa for one night. Here’s my experience: **Location:** The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. Nestled in beautiful grounds, it provides a serene backdrop for relaxation and exploration. The picturesque setting truly enhances the overall experience. **Arrival and Service:** Unfortunately, my arrival experience was somewhat disappointing. The service upon check-in felt slow and not particularly welcoming. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or guidance on where I could take Stanley, which left me feeling a bit lost. I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time."

"A little piece of heaven! The room was very comfortable, well designed and with lovely nautical features throughout. On arrival, parking was excellent, friendly helpful staff, within minutes we were sat by the window, overlooking the fast flowing river, being entertained by the wildlife whilst enjoying a well earned drink after a nearly three hour drive! Location was perfect, breakfast, a joy! A birthday treat for my special girl which couldn't of been better, we will return."

"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and our choice was primarily due to its convenient location and excellent breakfast. It is very close to the airport and very quiet at night, surrounded by farms and grassland. We love the breakfast because it is not a typical buffet. Instead, you can choose from a menu with a great variety of options, all of which taste wonderful. The restaurant's decoration is also lovely, and you will be more than satisfied with the portions. The restaurant staff are passionate, friendly, and helpful. One point to note is that the reception area often has guests around, which is just an observation and neither positive nor negative. The receptionists always do their best and are very nice and professional. However, the room design is a bit outdated."

Really clean and tidy room and we had the best night sleep on the comfiest bed. Plenty of tea and coffee. Really friendly and helpful staff. Location was at the Center of Chester which made everything easier to get too. It was right by the shops and loads of places to eat. Title: Alderley Edge Hotel: Victorian Elegance Meets Modern Comfort in Cheshire Review: Nestled in the heart of Cheshire, Alderley Edge Hotel offers a charming blend of Victorian heritage and contemporary luxury. Originally a grand 19th-century villa, the hotel has been thoughtfully transformed into a stylish 50-room retreat, maintaining its historic character while providing modern amenities. Location & Ambience: Situated just off Alderley Edge’s bustling high street, the hotel is perfectly positioned for guests to explore the village’s trendy boutiques, restaurants, and bars. The nearby sandstone ridge, known as “The Edge,” offers scenic woodland walks and panoramic views, adding to the area’s allure. Accommodation: Guests have praised the hotel for its cleanliness and comfort. Rooms are well-appointed, featuring modern furnishings and amenities such as Temple Spa toiletries, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee facilities. While some guests have noted that certain rooms can be on the smaller side, the overall comfort and ambiance receive high marks. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel does not have leisure facilities or a gym. Guest Feedback: Overall, guests have expressed satisfaction with their stays, citing the hotel’s cleanliness, location, and service as standout features. Some have mentioned minor issues such as thin walls leading to noise disturbances and occasional maintenance concerns in the bathrooms. Lovely hotel with nice big clean rooms. A few issues though - you really need a car to get here as it's a bit far out from the city centre. In my room there was a room service menu and a number to dial for room service, but no phone. The food and drink was ok. During my stay there was only 1 person on the bar and service was a little slow. I ordered a soft drink and it was a bit flat, definitely not worth the £4 they charged for it. Because of staff shortages the dining room was filled with tables that needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was also a bit of a disaster. They charge £15 for it but definitely not worth it. There's a self serve hot buffet which was fine, nothing exceptional. There was no coffee available, just tea bags and hot water. Also there were no plates available at the continental station - really missing attention to detail when there were quite a few staff members present.

We found the facilities and service excellent. Breakfast was good with a fair choice on the buffet. We had a bar meal which was a good standard, burger and fish and chips, with s good selection of drinks. We did have a problem with the room we were given due to traffic noise, being too hot and it was a disabled bathroom which meant the sink was too low for us. A big thank you to reception staff Carolin and her colleague who gladly managed to get us moved into another quieter room with aircon it was much appreciated. All the staff on reception in the bar and breakfast room were excellent. The hotel on the canalside is only a few minutes away from the city centre and many restaurants and bars.

Absolutely stunning accommodation which oozed in class. The room was brilliant and very spacious with fantastic air con for those summer nights which wasn't too noisy either. The hotel is located perfectly next to the train station for easy access and the staff were pleasant and accommodating, even resulting in a free drink on the house for simply booking there. Bed was super comfortable and spacious and the shower facility was perfect too. Thoroughly recommend.

Handy location for travel to North Wales and an easy drive to Chester. Hotel rooms are dated. We only had one bedside cabinet and lamp in a double room. The wardrobe door was in danger of falling off. Room looked out onto another part of the building. A storeroom or something. No window in en suite. Felt a bit claustrophobic. Breakfast was of limited choice but adequate. The public areas and pool facilities were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.
