"This was my second stay here, and it was just as great as the first. First off, the location is fantastic – really easy to get to, right by the Hai River with beautiful views. Many attractions are within walking distance. Second, they have plenty of parking, both above and underground. Third, the restaurant downstairs is delicious; I go every time, though it does get busy, so you might have a wait if you go too late. Fourth, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the room layout and amenities are excellent. Fifth, the breakfast is very good, and the staff provide great service. Overall, it's excellent value for money."

"The location is superb, facing the Haihe River, with a garden across the road behind it, and the Ritz-Carlton on one side of the garden. From the hotel, it's about a 20-minute walk to Da Kuo Seafood and Kiessling Restaurant, one for seafood and the other for Western cuisine, both renowned in Tianjin. Across the road from Kiessling is Xiaobailou (White House). From Xiaobailou, heading north, you'll find Wudadao (Five Avenues), with numerous century-old Western-style buildings all around. In the evening, a stroll along the Haihe River is delightful – with twinkling lights, a gentle breeze, the quiet flow of the river, and gulls soaring over the water. It's truly enjoyable! "I come here every time I'm on a business trip. Check-in is very convenient, and the room has a Siemens washing machine, which is great for laundry – very friendly for frequent business travelers. Downstairs, there are plenty of grocery stores, fruit stands, and small supermarkets. It's easy to buy some fruit and beer and store them in the fridge. The housekeeper is also very friendly and provides especially thoughtful service."

"One of the best locations in Tianjin. Check-in was smooth, and I was even granted an early check-in, which was much appreciated. Prior to my stay, I contacted Duty Manager Viola via email, and she arranged an excellent room for us. Great service even before arrival.
The room itself was comfortable, though it was slightly warm as there was no air conditioning. During my stay, Tianjin’s weather was getting hotter, which did affect my sleep a little. The fan was not available during my stay and they could only open the windows.
Breakfast was decent overall. The manager at the breakfast restaurant was attentive and frequently topped up drinks, which made the experience more pleasant, though the food selection was just average.
I opted to pay for an upgrade to an executive room with executive lounge benefits during check-in. This included happy hour and free-flow drinks. Betty and Tuski at the lounge provided great service and were very attentive to our needs, making the experience more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a good stay at a reasonable price in a great location. I look forward to returning again soon."

Anyone traveling with luggage will understand how invaluable this is!!! It's just one subway stop to Tianjin Station, and you can even walk to the Century Clock from there. It's also super convenient for visiting other nearby attractions, and you don't even need to transfer to get to Tianjin South Railway Station."

"This hotel was recommended by a friend from Tianjin, and it has an excellent location. The room was simple and clean, and the bedding and pillows were very comfortable. I stayed for 5 nights in a row, and it was a short walk to the Porcelain House, Jiefang Bridge, and the Century Clock. The front desk service was great, and the robot delivering meals was very convenient. The bar across from the hotel was quite tasteful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tianjin."

The room view was nice, but even that couldn't fully compensate for the outdated amenities. On a positive note, the complimentary welcome fruit and drinks were a thoughtful touch. However, the breakfast cups and placemats definitely need an upgrade. I hope the hotel improves in the future!"

It's clearly a newer hotel, opened in recent years, with modern facilities. There's absolutely no old or worn-out feeling.
The large floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides of the corner room are a highlight, though it's a pity that the TV table obstructs the view a bit too much. A smaller table would offer an even better panorama.
Breakfast offers a rich variety, with all sorts of desserts, fruits, and drinks. The 'dalumian' (noodle dish with gravy) and 'jianbing guozi' (savory crepes) are also very fragrant. The menu changes daily.
The front desk staff are enthusiastic, and parking is convenient.
More importantly, the location is superb. From my room, I could see many attractions, such as the Tianjin Eye and Jinwan Plaza.
I will definitely come back again."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Xiaobailou and Xuzhou Road subway stations, making it super convenient to walk to Wudadao and Jiefangbei Road Cultural Tourism Area. The front desk staff and servers were all very welcoming. The family room was spacious and comfortable, with complete amenities, and the panoramic view from the window was absolutely stunning. The self-service laundry was also very practical. The downsides were that the bathroom lacked hooks, so there was nowhere to hang clothes while showering or to put used towels. The elevator noise was excessively loud, so much so that it disturbed sleep even in the room furthest from the elevator at night. The breakfast was quite basic, but for the very low price, it was fair. Also, the water pressure for the shower was low, and the water flow wasn't sufficient. Overall, it's a hotel worth recommending."

The front desk staff, both the young ladies and gentlemen, are all so gentle and kind. The housekeeping team does a fantastic job; anyone who appreciates cleanliness will feel right at home and very comfortable. They pay attention to all the little details, anticipating guests' needs. You'll find facial towels, mouthwash, a heated drying rack, and a toilet brush. Plus, a full set of Herborist toiletries. The breakfast is abundant, and the fruits, especially, are wonderfully sweet.

GGuest UserThis Orange Crystal hotel opened last year. Huazhu Group's City Comfort Inn, Orange Crystal, and Manxin brands have been updating rapidly in recent years. For the same price point, the experience is definitely much better than Marriott, Hilton, or IHG's mid-to-high-end lines. They seem to understand domestic consumers better in terms of service and humanized touches. It's quite good! ^_^

GGuest UserIf you have an early flight this is a good hotel to stay at as it’s only 15 minutes from the airport. The room was clean and the staff very friendly.
My only problem was they had smoking rooms/floors and even though we had a non-smoking room there were some guests who still smoked in the stairwells. This is not the hotel’s fault but should be mentioned in case one cannot stand the smell of smoke.
There is not much for food around the area but for a 5-10 minute taxi ride you can get to an area with more options including some western options if you desire that type.

The entire hotel, both inside and out, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The lobby, in particular, was bright and spotless. Our room was also very large and spacious, so comfortable I could just lie down and get a restful night's sleep. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Wwilson1711I have just concluded a delightful stay at the Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City. Coincidentally, Tianjin was blanketed in snow last night—when I looked out the window, snowflakes were fluttering gently like flying flowers, just as described in Han Yu’s poem: “dancing through courtyard trees as if they were blossoms” . The trees along the street were dressed in a pristine silver coat, creating a stunning winter scene that beautifully contrasted with the warm, cozy atmosphere inside the hotel, adding an extra layer of warmth and poetic charm to my stay.
Speaking of warmth, the hotel’s heating system was excellent, maintaining the perfect temperature. On a cold, snowy day, stepping into my room and being enveloped in such comfortable warmth instantly dispelled the winter chill, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with excellent hardware facilities and a well-designed layout that made me feel exceptionally relaxed. The upgraded larger room, in particular, allowed me to leisurely admire the snow scenery from the window, savoring this peaceful and wonderful moment unique to winter.
Most commendable was the service from Ms. Feng of the Reservation Department. She provided warm and attentive service throughout, and kindly upgraded me to a larger room, allowing me to enjoy the snow scenery from a more comfortable vantage point. This thoughtful gesture significantly enhanced my stay! The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise—it offered excellent value for money with a wide variety of dishes, from traditional Chinese breakfast items to Western options, catering to different taste preferences. After a satisfying meal, looking out at the snow was incredibly enjoyable.
Overall, my stay was absolutely perfect: outside the window was the winter beauty of snowflakes dancing through trees like flying flowers, while inside was a spacious, comfortable space with just the right warmth. Coupled with thoughtful service and delicious breakfast, Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City is definitely a great value choice for travel or business trips to Tianjin. I highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserThe Four Seasons Hotel has an excellent location, with Metro Lines 1 and 3 right downstairs, providing easy access to many attractions – truly convenient for exploring the city on foot. Below the hotel, you'll find Joy City and the IFC Mall. Head left out of the lobby, and you'll discover a maze of streets and alleys filled with all sorts of interesting shops. The hotel staff are professional, enthusiastic, and patient. Plus, the people of Tianjin are very welcoming to tourists, often using polite phrases like 'Excuse me' or 'Here you go' and 'Have a good trip,' which are very pleasant to hear. One day, a few of us were discussing how to get to Jinwan Plaza when a Tianjin local lady overheard us, turned around, and came back to tell us exactly how to get there.
