2400 Motel

Eclectic old-fashioned motor hotel in a central location. Clean rooms, nostalgic architecture and decor, comfortable beds, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well priced and accessible. This motel has a colourful history of movie and TV shows filmed there: check Google and the collection of photos in the lobby! It even has its own jigsaw puzzle (a hard one)! There was a lovely playful dog across the fence outside the kitchen door. We spent a night here on the way to a special occasion and will definitely be back.
Hotel Zed Kelowna

Stayed for the first time August 2022, room 296. This is now my favourite hotel in Kelowna, I will be coming back every year and staying here. The staff were incredibly fun and friendly, all the common areas were fun to be in. This is not a pretentious hotel, we were smiling the entire time, but the fun vibe in no way sacrificed the service, the service was phenomenal. The staff seems to really love their city and really seemed to love their jobs. The location was perfect to downtown everything was in walking distance and they have bikes if you wanna venture a little further. Roof top deck was the ideal spot to watch the sunsets, the roof top deck had comfy furniture and plenty of room. We looked at the ping pong room and is a perfect spot for kids, we didn’t have time to take advantage of this space but again was a fun room and seemed like a great spot for the kids/teens. Our room was very clean and well decorated, again it was just fun. Working rotary phones were just the icing on the top. We had a great spot to sit outside our room and enjoy the complementary coffee every morning. I recommend the second or third floor room for a nice morning sitting spot. If I had to say what could be improved I would say the TV should be on the wall, it sat on the desk and was hard to see if you were lying down, and it had two remotes, but we didn’t really come here to watch tv so not a huge deal. Other item that it would be nicer if the water pressure for the shower was higher, but again not bad enough that I would not return. Parking lot is tight, so if you have a big truck you’d want to park it out back. All in all, I’d give the hotel an 11 out of 10, no question we will now be coming back year after year. Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect ambiance…it was just the perfect getaway for us.

Originally I looked forward to writing this review thinking I had found a great little hotel with big clean rooms, friendly staff and an even better price but I was very wrong. Check in went smooth the woman was friendly and answered all my questions only thing I want to mention is we were told absolutely no cooking in the room or we would be charged and there was a $100 deposit taken. We were only given one physical key instead of cards but no big deal. As a friend unloaded the vehicle with us a staff member came out very concerned there was a third guest that had not been charged for. After assuring her he was only helping unload the bags she returned to the office. Once in the room (102) we were pleasantly surprised to see the size of it however the layout was a little odd. The bathroom was positioned off the back bedroom so you had to pass by the bed to use which could be inconvenient had someone been trying to sleep. While there was plenty of open space in the rooms the table could have been a little larger but it did what it needed to. It had the usual amenities like microwave, coffee pot and a full size fridge which was nice. The heat in the room was uncontrollable and extremely high, we closed off the floor registers and opened up the back windows which made it tolerable. The only complaint to say about the room was the lack of a bedroom door, the privacy would be nice and also a bathroom fan is generally good. Highway noise was less noticeable than expected and the beds were decent so we both slept well. Now next morning I went over to front desk at about 10am and informed the woman that we would like to extend one night and would be over to pay for the extra night, she insisted it had to be paid by 11:30am. At 11:26am (Telus cell phone time) a staff member began banging on the door raising his voice telling us to get out of the room. We were very confused as we had just got shoes on to go pay for the extra night. Once the door opened up it was clear we were not going to be paying another night. We tried our best to explain we were walking to the office but the staff did not want to hear it or care. Repeatedly we were told to get out of the room, even as we showed cash in hand to cover the room charge and apologized for cutting it down to the last minute. Finally we couldn’t take it any longer and closed the door (11:31am) thinking maybe someone else who worked there would come and correct this staff members behavior but unfortunately that didn’t happen. We sat confused and wondering how things turned this way so quickly and decided to offer one last time to pay for the extra night, we even pointed out that it would be quicker to pay the extra than it would be to pack up the room but they wanted nothing to do with us. We packed up as quickly as possible and left the room in great condition with no damage, no big mess and nothing missing. We then went to the front desk to ask for the $100 deposit to be returned that was taken off a debit
Coast Metro Vancouver Hotel

I had a one night stay before boarding a cruise ship in Vancouver. I booked this DUMP online. My God, it was horrible. The drapes were falling apart....The floor was tacky underfoot. You could not use the shower because the hot water handle was totally loose. I was in room 9. There was no stopper in the wash basin. So we took a sponge bath. I did call to the front desk and he offered to change us to room 10. I declined because I didn't think it could be much better. My advice, you'd be better off sleeping in your car. That's how bad it was. Air conditioner - we could not seem to shut off. It was one of those tiny things in the wall. We didn't need it because it was in the 50's.

Great, the room is a small suite, clean and comfortable, the boss is not bad, the main thing is that the credit card does not have to pay the deposit, because the foreign credit card refund is more than two weeks, so like
Happy Day Inn

The location is average, it is a bit noisy to keep the road. Hotel facilities are relatively simple, air conditioning is not easy to use. Breakfast is free, but only juice and bread are too shabby.
Alpine Motel

Calculating the surrounding price is relatively cheap. A twin room was set up and the faucet was found to be bad after check-in. The family suite with a kitchen (one big one small two beds + one sofa bed) was upgraded free of charge. The decoration is relatively old, and the price can't ask too much. Family room kitchen pot is less, a pan + a soup pot, if you want to open your own, you can only cook a noodle. Breakfast is very simple, bread, milk, yogurt, muffins, cakes, jams, butter, that's all. There is a supermarket opposite, it is very convenient to buy things.
Westward Inn & Suites

Had a great stay at the Westward when I was in Langley visiting family. Very comfortable beds that had me sleeping better than at home! Staff is always very friendly and accommodating and although a few concessions need to be made due to covid, i will definitely stay here again.
