Golden Harvest Motor Inn

We stayed there on 26/1/24 for one night stay on our way south. The motel is obviously under new management. Couldn't understand the guy on the phone when I booked the room. Room was as expected. (we have stayed there before). Fluro light on bathroom was flicking, so pulled the starter out to stop it. Ceiling fan was disgustingly dirty. Looked at the credit card balance a few days later and found a separate charge of $3.00 as well as the room charge. Sent an email querying the $3.00 charge just out of principle. Judging from the guys response, he has no idea what the separate charge of $3.00 was for and to this point, no refund.. He also used the previous owner's email address with his response and made out it was from Alison. (the previous owner). This guy is clueless. Won't be back to this one again.......

Winchester Motel

Stayed overnight with my dog and it was perfect for us. My needs for an overnighter is clean, really comfortable bed with nice linen and towels and a great shower, and the Winchester ticked all these boxes and more Receptionist was lovely, and it was very quiet great for sleeping. Yes the decor is dated, but l don't stay at overnighters for the decor. Would definitely stay again for the fabulous bed, gorgeous shower, microwave to heat my dinner, crockery and cutlery to eat with and cleanliness
Maria Motel

The motel is located a few minutes walk from the famous Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre. Its close enough that I changed into my swimsuit, covered myself with a towel and walked in my thongs to the centre, and back. I'd come to Moree to spend time at the Artesian Spa and that's what I did. The water was warm and the atmosphere lively. My room was spacious and well furnished. The room, ensuite and kitchenette were all spotlessly clean. The kitchen was equipped with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, etc etc with a hotplate, microwave, toaster and kettle - all in excellent condition. There was a table and chairs so one could sit down and comfortably eat a meal. The motel was happy for guests to take the motel's towel(s) to the aquatic centre - only requesting that specifically provided towels be taken, which was perfectly understandable. A/c, tv and free wifi worked well. The motel owners were very friendly and hospitable, happy to provide guidance and directions when requested. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to return.
Spa Village Travel Inn

We were travelling home and decided to stop overnight to avoid wildlife etc. rang around to a few places but the lady on reception was lovely, the room was great suited our needs. The air heating was cosy and warm for the night as it was fresh outside. Close to the artesian pools, I stopped for a swim after leaving motel. We’d def stay here again if needed :). Gates close at 8pm felt safe and secure.
The Phoenix Artesian Spa Resort and Accommodation
3.7/548 Reviews
After a long drive I pulled in to the Dragon Phoenix for the night. George gave me a nice quiet room away from the road that my dog and I found most comfortable and accommodating. The complex is secured at night so no stress with the car and belongings. The rooms was very clean, tidy and the bed was super comfy which was much needed for a sore back after driving long hours. I ordered takeaway from the restaurant and my combination chow mein was delicious. I really wanted to use the artesian pools but was too tired and needed to leave early morning. I will definitely stay again next year when I make my annual trip to the Central Western NSW dog show circuit to break up the drive and relax in the pools. Thanks George and the team at Dragon Phoenix Moree.
