Cruising in 3 Southern Border Provinces
Assalamualaikum with doubts in mind whether this is a red zone or not?
.
Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, if talking about these 3 provinces, many people probably think of bombs💣, shootings🔫, areas with violent incidents. Let's see if this place, which is said to be a red zone, is suitable or not?
.
Many people probably don't know that this place has good views. There are still many places and foods that are still unknown. If talking about tourist attractions, there is watching the sea of fog🏔⛅️ watching the fog at Sukirin, Gunung Patu Puteh, Gunung Silipat, Aiyerweng, the sea of fog at Khao Nam Sai, Phan Nab Dao, Khao Nang Kaew, the sea of fog at To Sa Heh, or going to the sea🏝 Laem Ta Chi, Talo Samee Beach, Ban Thon Beach, Kae Kae Beach, Narathat Beach, Ao Manao, there are also waterfalls such as 🍃 Bajo Waterfall, Sipo Waterfall, Sirindhorn Waterfall, Sri Thaksin Waterfall Chaloem Phrakiat Waterfall Rama 9, Hat Sai Khao Waterfall, and more. Or go rafting on the Sai Buri River, such as 🚣🏻 Chulabhorn Development 12 rafting, Ban Ya Deh community rafting, Ban Bon Khao rafting, and so much more. Hala-Bala trekking at Chulabhorn Development 9, Bang Lang Dam boat trip, so much more. Plus, there are also food items such as Mataba, Nasi Kabu, Azura, Sambusa, Betong chicken, noodles, and orange beer. And if you want to go to religious places, there are Pattani Central Mosque, 300-year-old Mosque, Kru Se Mosque, Shrine of the Goddess, Wat Chang Hai, or even churches. This place is really diverse (I'm not bragging 😁).
.
This trip to 3 provinces is not the first time, but it's the first time I've been to 3 provinces in one go, and I'm traveling alone. And this time is not the first time, but it's the 4th time (I'm traveling to one province or district at a time). Next time, there will definitely be a 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th time. 5555 As I said, this place has a lot of variety. And this place is not as scary as on social media. There may be police, soldiers, and guns at various checkpoints throughout the journey, but being able to stop and talk, ask where we are from, where we are going, is more comforting than fearful. It also indicates that this place is safe.
Some friends asked what I like about this southern border region of Thailand, why do you go there so often, once a month? I have to say that I don’t just like it, but if anyone comes here, they will “fall in love” with it. I love the place, the food, and the lovely people. They may look grumpy and have mustaches 😼 But if you try to talk to them, they are very lovely. Maybe because we don’t understand each other’s language, they try to speak to us, and we try to learn the local Yawi language and use it with the people here. But when we speak, we feel shy 🤣 But they say it’s cute 😆
Who said this place is a red zone? Think again. I think this place is more like a pink zone. This place has been peaceful for a long time. Have you ever heard of it? “Different but not divided”. This phrase really exists.
In fact, we can experience it. Try to travel to find yourself, go to new places, meet new people. Believe me!! One day, you will fall in love with this place like we do...
“Falling in love” 💚
Falling in love until I have to have a map of the 3 provinces at home to pin where we’ve been.
