I always run into celebrities when I stay at this hotel. I love it.
The hotel design combines traditional Nanyang and European architectural styles, and every detail embodies the consistent aesthetic concept and grand design of Waldorf. Walking into the hotel is like stepping into a fairy tale castle, making it hard to leave.
The hotel has 245 rooms, with the basic rooms starting at 55 sqm. All rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the unique cityscape of Egret Island during the day and night. The rooms are equipped with Ferragamo toiletries, Simmons mattresses, and comfortable KA bathtubs for complete relaxation.
The hotel has five restaurants and a bar, where guests can enjoy Minnan specialties and international cuisine and wine. The restaurants and bar include Peacock Alley, Brasserie, Wei Jing Ge, Zijin Mansion, and 1387 Bar.
The hotel also has a spa and a fitness center equipped with advanced facilities and equipment. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and features a sauna, steam room, and fitness studio. Xiamen Qishang is a hotel worth checking in.
Because this hotel is under LWH Lidingshi, there are few in China. With the attitude of trying something new, I didn't choose other luxury brands on the island. At the end of the trip, I was very glad for this choice.
As soon as you enter the lobby, you can feel that it is very different from traditional hotels. There is no obvious boundary between indoor and outdoor. The big tree in the patio is full of vitality, which makes people feel very relaxed, but it is a bit wasteful of air conditioning.
The hotel loves to use symmetrical techniques. In addition to its own layout, it uses water, mirrors, stone and other reflections to create a sense of order and beauty.
The layout of the room is arranged in a gourd shape around the bed, with clear lines. There are two chairs at the head and foot of the bed, which can be rested anywhere. But for some friends, it may not be very stable to sleep with the head of the bed not against the wall.
In terms of room hardware, all are big brands, not much to say, it is worth mentioning that many local elements in southern Fujian are used, such as the triangular red brick in the bathroom and the rust stone on the balcony.
The public area swimming pool has a good view, and there is a bit of island style, and the length of 50m is relatively rare. But what is worth complaining about is that there is a western restaurant next to it. For guests who value privacy, the experience may not be good. It seems to be a performance program for the restaurant.
Breakfast is mediocre, the types are relatively complete, but the level is average.
In summary, it is a very good city resort hotel. The design of the Pu series hotel is really advanced and has an East Asian sentiment. I may stay again next time I come to Xiamen.

In late November, we were pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking sunset at Zeng Cuo A Village in Xiamen. The golden rays of the setting sun brought an unexpected warmth to the winter air, allowing us to take off our jackets and leisurely stroll along the beach. The sky transformed into a palette of soft pinks and oranges, reflecting beautifully on the calm sea. Children played in the sand, their laughter filling the air, while a few newlywed couples posed for their wedding photos, capturing this magical moment against the stunning backdrop. The sunset, casting long shadows and a golden glow on everything around, was undoubtedly the highlight of our Xiamen trip, creating a serene and unforgettable evening by the sea.

A Trip to Xiamen
I visited Xiamen three times this year, each time experiencing different vibes and enjoying various food and drinks.
Upon stepping into Xiamen, I genuinely felt that the city is very clean, and the people are kind, warm-hearted, and enthusiastic. I also got to experience different accents of the Minnan dialect.
During these three trips to Xiamen, besides taking taxis, I also took the bus. What touched me deeply was that when passengers with mobility issues boarded the bus, the driver would wait until they were seated and secured before driving off. The entire bus ride experience was free from any rush or sudden braking.
This year's trips to Xiamen left a great impression on me.

Xiamen's Night Market is a Must-Visit: Check Out Xiamen Grain Warehouse Cultural and Creative Park!
Speaking of Xiamen's great night markets, there are indeed many! Near the train station, this is my favorite!! The Jiahe Liangku Cultural and Creative Park is transformed from the old factory building of Xiamen's first grain warehouse!
You can still see the traces of the old factory buildings with rust, these sloping roofs, and wooden and stone structures of Minnan architecture hide 67 years of Xiamen's memories. From modern humanities to contemporary trends, now the 'material granary' has become a 'spiritual granary', becoming a new cultural and creative landmark at the foot of Jinbang Park Mountain!

🌟 Last time I traveled to Xiamen, I stayed at the W Hotel, and it really changed my impression of hotels in Xiamen. It's so trendy! Moreover, bringing kids along, the room package included a trendy kids' playground which was perfect for the little ones to have fun, giving us some relief. So overall, the stay was pleasant, and it's a hotel I would want to stay at again when I visit Xiamen in the future!

Gulangyu Island in Xiamen is not very large, located just 600 meters away from Xiamen's downtown area. You need to take a ferry to get there, but be aware that the ferry schedule is quite sparse. 💚Morning: Old City Citywalk Route
Take the BRT to 'Douxikou', or take a taxi directly, both are very convenient!
✅Xian Road Flower and Bird Market→Gongyuan West Road→Zhongshan Park→Douxikou→Huaxin Road→Xingfu Road
Stroll through the flower and bird market, walk along the street to Gongyuan West Road, you can also take a walk in the park. Gongyuan West Road is next to Douxikou and Huaxin Road. On Huaxin Road, you can check out Zhang Wansen's house, Not-in-Bookstore, and other old villa buildings🏡. Douxikou is very retro, with lush green trees, and many vintage shops on the street. Taking photos at the door is very photogenic, and it's also great for shopping!
The whole journey can be completed in about two hours, and some dessert and coffee shops along the way are great for photos.

bought the after 5pm visit tickets thru trip.. it was so convenient, juz scan qrcode to enter.. it was less crowded on a monday although it was their summer holidays.. we arrived there at abt 5.30pm, in time to catch the sunset... the lift was fast and brought us up to the 55th floor in a min... the view was magneficient... can see Gulangyu oso.. climb the stairs up to the 56 and 58 floor.. up there we can purchase tickets for the skywalk and slide which we did not attempt.. maybe will try if visit again 🤣

A few years ago, I went to Xiamen and chose the Xiamen Baixiang Wutong Hotel, which is very close to Xiamen Airport. Staying there once left an unforgettable impression on me. This summer vacation, I took my daughter to Xiamen to experience the hotel I like.
The hotel is by the sea, resembling a huge ship. The high-ceilinged lobby is very grand, giving a strong vacation feel. Our sea-view king room is also exceptionally large, allowing us to watch the sunrise while lying in bed. The bathroom is also spacious, with a shower facing the sea view. The characteristic of Baixiang Wutong Hotel is the direct sea view, and all the rooms are very spacious.
The only hotel in Xiamen with a private beach is this one, which also has children's favorite Dream Island and a sea-view swimming pool. In the evening, you can go to the Quilang Bar for a drink in the sea breeze. You can also sit at the Wuyang Bar, which is too romantic. Breaking the conventional bar model, it feels a bit like a crystal chapel, dreamy under the night lights.
We prefer to sit in the executive lounge, loving this spacious area. It is a sea-view executive lounge with an excellent dining environment. For me, the dining environment is as important as the quality of the food, with freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable juice available all day.
This time we also tried the hotel's Wakamizu, a Japanese restaurant that serves food in buffet style, made to order. There are many dishes to choose from, and we focused on seafood, ordering grilled snow crab legs, codfish, salmon sashimi, sweet shrimp sashimi, etc., all of which were fresh and tasty.
