Captivating Limestone Paradise
#100WaysOfTravel
Nestled in the Gulf of Tonkin, Ha Long Bay is an ethereal paradise that beckons travelers with its mystical beauty. Imagine cruising through a sea of jade green, surrounded by towering limestone karsts and islets, each more mesmerizing than the last. The sheer number of islands—over 1,600 in total—creates an almost labyrinthine experience for explorers. The tranquil waters invite visitors to kayak through hidden lagoons, explore secluded caves like Sung Sot and Thien Cung, and enjoy refreshing swims. One can’t help but marvel at the variety of shapes and sizes these islands form, often resembling animals, mythical creatures, or even local folklore figures. Overnight cruises provide the perfect setting to witness the bay’s changing hues from sunrise to sunset, with stars twinkling in the serene night sky. Ha Long Bay isn’t just a feast for the eyes; it’s an adventure that excites the soul.

[World Heritage Site] Vietnam: Halong Bay
I took a day trip to Halong Bay using an optional tour departing from Hanoi, Vietnam!
We got on a big tourist bus and arrived at the boat dock after about 2 hours.
It was a tour that went around various spots, but basically everywhere you look there are many unique rocks in the emerald green water, so everywhere is a photo spot📸
There is an activity where you can choose between boat or kayak along the way! You have to row the kayak yourself, but you can have a professional row the boat (see the third photo)!
I definitely recommend the boat✨️
Also, I wanted to see Halong Bay from "Tea Top Island", so I chose a tour that went there!
(4th photo)
But!! It takes a lot of effort to see this spectacular view...
You have to climb 400 steps🚶♀️
It was so hard...
My legs were hurting when I reached the top😂
The sunset and Halong Bay were also beautiful🪨🌅
After returning to the dock where we got on the way there, it takes another 2 hours to return to Hanoi city.
It takes a whole day, but
if you visit Hanoi, why not visit this world heritage site, Halong Bay? 😌

Explore Halong Bay With Cozy Bay Cruise 🌊
This time i want to share my experienced when i joined in 1 day tour to Halong Bay in Vietnam. Last time i using Cozy Bay Premium Cruise, and the route is going to Sung Sot Cave, Titop Island, and Luon Cave.
What i like the most about this cruise is they offer buffet lunch and it’s included on the price of the package. The lunch also more premium than others cruise. They serve unlimited seafood.
For the drink, it’s not included on the package. We can buy drinks on the spot at the cruise, the price a bit higher than at the market but not too expensive. Btw, every cruise that sail to Halong Bay are not include drinks (for 1day trip).
Not only the buffet, Cozy Bay Cruise also give free sunset party for the guests, they serve wine and snacks for the sunset party. Overall the trip was good and the staffs are so kind.

At Ha Long Bay, it is home of many spectacular caves with unique geology, aesthetics, and archaeology values. Although the trek into the cave is tiring due to the stairs and humidity, but once you are in, you will be truly amazed by the natural structure of the caves various stalactites and stalagmites hanging from the ceiling. Furthermore, the stone artifacts date back to several years ago so you can learn interesting historical information from the tour guide.

Quang Ninh Museum - Ha Long
Getting There - Quang Ninh Museum - Library is located on Tran Quoc Nghien street, only about 7.1km from Ha Long city center, so visitors can easily move here by private vehicle.
Attractions - Quang Ninh Museum is a unique architectural and artistic work. Just looking from the outside alone makes visitors admire. The appearance of the museum is extremely attractive with black glass covering all sides. This is like a giant mirror reflecting the majestic Ha Long sea and sky.
Besides, the museum is designed in a unique square structure with the main black color, which is also an image that many visitors associate with black pearl - a precious product in Ha Long. Indeed, the architecture of Quang Ninh museum is a delicate harmony between simplicity and modernity, traditional but very new.

Great Valued 8-course Dining Experience @ Halong Restaurant
visited this Ha Long restaurant for dinner when I stayed one night in the Paradise Suites. We booked a dine & Stay package which offered a 6-course set dinner. The restaurant offered a cozy space and we got seated in a nice and quiet table. Inspired by Halong Bay itself, the restaurant's world cuisine masters bring the typical traditional experience with a variety of Asian and European cuisine. We ordered our wine and after a few minutes the starters were served. They included Banana blossom and chicken salad, Steamed prawn with lemongrass and Grilled oyster with pineapple. They’re all very appetising and we particularly liked the oysters as it’s very special to have a touch of sweetness when tasting the oysters, a good match. Then came the mains, Wok-fried beef with black peppercorn sauce, Stewed fish in clay pot and Steamed vegetables, shrimp pork confit. The stewed fish was our favourite as the herbs like lemongrass, star anise, black pepper…..just making this dish flavoursome. There’s also a Sour pork rib broth served too. Just so much food that we couldn’t finish it all. Finally came the light cheesecake for the dessert. We enjoyed our dinner there as the ambience was very relaxing and the staffs were very friendly and attentive.
Recommend booking directly with the hotel to grasp the low price and nice dining experience.

Halong Bay Cruise, a must do in Vietnam
Halong Bay is one of Vietnam’s most famous destinations that you can’t miss. The best way to experience it’s beauty is to join a overnight cruise. There are heaps of Halong Bay cruises that suit your needs. After reading and comparing, my partner and I boarded a 2-day-1-night classic wooden luxury boat for a memorable experience. It took us to scenic locations around the bay during the overnight cruise. We also go kayaking during the day, and partake in a cooking demonstration in the evening. The next morning, we also explored Sung Sot Cave in a guided tour. So there’re really good activities arranged in this cruise. Besides activities, meals were also included. For breakfast and lunch, it’s buffet style while dinner was a set menu. The food was good especially the dinner, we both enjoyed it.
For our accommodation, we were upgraded to an elegant suite with balcony, so we’re very pleased. It’s a corner room with a bathtub, really nice to soak in the bath with a wine, enjoying the view.
It’s not the most modern or luxurious cruise, but overall we’re happy with the programme, the food and services of this cruise. It’s a nice experience. This cruise is operated together with a hotel group, so if you’d like to stay one night in Halong before boarding on the cruise, I suggest you make a booking directly with them as you’ll get a much better deal.

The mesmerising Ha long bay
Situated in the north east of Vietnam is Ha long bay. It is a worthy UNESCO world heritage site and a beautiful demonstration of Vietnamese landscape.
The bay is full of thousands of limestone karsts, with some islands featuring rainforests to wander! It is a great place to hike and dive too. Consider staying a few days in Ha Long city to see it all!

Experience Nature via Ha Long Bay Cruise
Being amazed by the beautiful landscape of nature in Vietnam? Ha Long Bay will never disappoint you.
There are various ways of getting in touch with its nature, namely, sight viewing along the bay, riding a cable car in Sun World, going to the top floor of your hotel or walk along the bay. Any of this did not give me disappointment.
Above are all true as I experienced it myself. In my case, I wanted to experience riding on a cruise with a package of going through the #cave@HaLongBay and having a ride of a #kayak. I really enjoyed the Cruise in courtesy #habinh68 Cruise Vessel. The food served too in the vessel is delicious and nutritious.
Please come and visit Ha Long, Vietnam. What are you waiting for?

Amazing Ha Long Bay
Took a 2 day 1 night trip to Ha Long Bay. Followed a local tour group and transportation was provided. The scenery was amazing, surprise cave was so pretty, the climb up the hill was strenuous but the view was so beautiful. Everyone has to visit once in their life time, you will not regret it. Staying a night there would be less hectic as 1 way journey is 3 hours long.

Ha Long Bay
2 hours driving from Hanoi City is really worthy. The scenery there is very spectacular and good for self-healing. You need to book the cruise package to go round the UNESCO site. Please keep in mind to negotiate the price prior booking. You can have your lunch on the cruise. some of the cruise offered Seafood only so it is Muslim-friendly. we also can see some of the fishermen are selling the seafood from one boat to another. Depending on the package that you taken, they will brought you to the cave. In the cave, the view is stunning. Very recommended place to go once you reached Hanoi. #hanoi #halongbay #mytripvlog #2023travelwish #deliciousfood #awesomepic

The Beautiful Islets in Ha long Bay!
#celebratewithtrip
Ha Long Bay in Northeast Vietnam. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that covers some 150,000 hectares. It is located on the Gulf of Tonkin in the north eastern province of Quang Ninh. It is known for its emerald waters and The most amazing thing about the bay is the islets that rise up out of the water. If you are going to Ha long bay there are some options to choose. Visitors to Ha Long Bay can opt for a packaged cruise, including transport to and from Hanoi. Independent travellers can take a bus to Ha Long City or Hai Phong and a taxi to the port. When I went there I chose the packaged cruise. The Halong Bay entrance fee is US$13 per person for a day cruise and US$25 for an overnight cruise. This is generally included in your ticket, though it's worth double-checking for the cheapest cruises. Activities like kayaking and island bike rides may cost you extra. This is absolutely beautiful. If possible you can try to do overnight to see the sunrise and sunset.

Surprise....Surprise....What a view....
Site : Hang Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave
Location : Ha Long Bay, Halong City, Quảng
Getting Here : via boat, or ferry
Hang Sung Sot literally means Surprise Cave.
It was named that way as the French who founded that cave was surprised to see it's beauty. Hang Sung Sot iz located in the Middle of Halong Bay which is known as UNESCO World Heritage Site. You need to climb a few hundred steps to reach the area. The queue to enter this cave is super long....If you bring kids be prepared for a few melt downs...hahaha I've seen adults melt down too just like the kids...temper tantrums and all hahahaha Anyway bring snacks along...drinks too to keep you distracted....

A quite tranquil beach
Tuan Chau Beach is actually one of Halong Bay's few man-made beaches. Due to its ideal location on Tuan Chau Island, a developed tourist area, it is quite active year-round with foreign and local travelers. The beach is lovely and well-equipped for a variety of beach activities like jet skiing, canoeing, and fishing. There are numerous eateries in the vicinity, so visitors will be spoiled for choice when it comes to eating.

Ha Long Bay
Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Vietnam’s most iconic destinations. Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, this breathtaking bay features over 1,600 limestone islands and islets rising dramatically from emerald-green waters. Each island boasts unique shapes and sizes, forming a surreal seascape that captivates travelers.
Cruising Ha Long Bay is the most popular way to experience its beauty. Traditional wooden junk boats offer day trips and overnight stays, allowing visitors to explore the area in depth. Popular activities include kayaking through secluded lagoons, swimming in hidden coves, and visiting spectacular caves like Sung Sot (Surprise Cave) and Thien Cung (Heavenly Palace Cave). For those seeking a panoramic view, a hike on Ti Top Island reveals stunning vistas of the bay.
The serene ambiance of Ha Long Bay is especially magical during sunrise or sunset when the light plays beautifully across the water and islands. For adventure seekers, Cat Ba Island offers trekking and rock climbing opportunities, adding variety to the tranquil boat rides.
Ha Long Bay is also home to floating fishing villages, where visitors can learn about the local way of life. The bay’s unique combination of natural beauty and cultural richness makes it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and photographers alike.
