The highest peak in Indochina (slightly more than 3.141592m), hahaha..
Definitely a place that is worth visiting again.
During this trip, the view surrounding Fansiphan is covered by clouds, restricting the view of the mountain chain.
However, it is still manificient in its own way.
The option to travel their almost empty handed is viable.
There are almost endless amount of apparel outlets selling from luggages to jackets to shoes.
Definitely a place that will be regretful to not visit at least once in our lifetime.

I went because of this pool corner 😆
The view is really beautiful, especially in the morning when the fog floats slowly, it's like being in heaven 💕 It's not a very big pool, but the view is the best
The staff here are also lovely
Kind We arrived very early, asked for help with showering, they took care of it for us, it's great. I also booked a superior room, the room is spacious with a balcony to go out and get some fresh air, waking up in the morning is so great 💕
The accommodation is on a hill, walk down about 300 meters to Sun Plaza, you can go down the back of the hotel, there is also a cafe with a beautiful view on the right

If you are visiting Sapa and want to experience an exceptional hotel with helpful employees and a beautiful mountain view, you should stay at least one night at this hotel. I had a pleasant time here, and everything was excellent. The staff assisted me in booking a sleeper bus at a reasonable price, which included hotel transfers, and they even changed my room to a deluxe room from a regular no-view one. #Sapa #Kkhotel

Saparis Eatery & Cocktail Bar
This lovely place is located in Sapa, Vietnam. It’s about 1km walk from Sun Plaza. They offer wide range of food options, from sandwiches to rice meals and soup to fried food!
Our favourite was their Beef and Pork Spring rolls. We enjoyed it so much that we had to order another serving! It’s great both eaten with or without rice. we ordered their fried noodle ang fried rice, the serving was huge but we finished it as it was so delicious! The soup was good but it turned cold almost immediately due to the weather and temperature.
The staffs were friendly and accommodating. They gave us time to think of the food to order as there were lots of food choices. She was so kind that she offered us warm water while waiting to keep us warm.

Sapa Eden Hotel- good view, good food
#newyearadventure
Sapa Eden Hotel is located very close to the small path to Cat Cat village, and it offers wonderful views of the valley.
The service provided by the hotel staff was excellent. They were attentive and really made us feel very welcomed. It made us totally feel at ease as if we were home.
We had a few meals there and the dishes were really prepared with love. With vegetables growing in the back garden, each meal is served with fresh ingredients. The food really felt home-cooked, and I totally looked forward to meal time.
The view from the hotel and room was also specular. Totally enjoyed our short stay there.

beautiful scenery at sapa
signed up for a sapa trek with waterfalls on trip.com got to chat with the villagers and enjoyed the scenery.
the local village guide met me at the hotel lobby which was a short walk to the starting point of the village trek. thereafter, we went through many up and down slopes (could be muddy and slippery if raining) before coming to a clearing where you can view the rice terraces. the guide was most happy to help me take pictures since I was a solo traveler.
along the way, there were kids trying to sell things and would be best to avoid, otherwise they will swarm you if u buy from one of them. this will also happen at the lunch place. #sapa #waterfall #laocai

The coolest place in Vietnam is Sabah, which is almost the lowest consumption place in Vietnam. Many European and American tourists are here for vacation, and there are many disabled people to cultivate. The house here has almost no Vietnamese characteristics, but has many French romantic elements. The colors are colorful and fresh, and there are not many Chinese tourists in this place, it is worth recommending!

The hotel recommended by Bill Bensley, an artist who grows grass during a trip, is indeed great! Sabah is Vietnam's Sabah. The fusion design without a name and a sense of order is really crazy! The thing made by the madman is really amazing

Fansipan, the roof of Indochina at 3,143m! 🇻🇳
It's cold up there, but the breathtaking views are worth every step.
A heads-up: don't wear skirts and be prepared for plenty of stairs.
Definitely a journey that tests your endurance and rewards your spirit! 💪🏻

The light fog in Sapa, Northern Vietnam.
On our first trip to Vietnam, we chose Northern Vietnam.
We took a flight to Hanoi and then a sleeper bus to Sapa, the city in the mist. We arrived in the morning, just in time to check into the hotel, Hotel de la Couple M Gallery. Since we couldn't check in yet, we left our bags and asked to take a shower at the hotel. They directed us to the pool floor, where there were shower rooms equipped with all necessary amenities, including a hairdryer. After freshening up, we were ready to explore!

5 things to consider before visiting Sapa in winter
#100waysoftravel
1. Extreme Cold Weather:
Prepare for frigid temperatures: Winter in Sapa can be extremely cold, with temperatures often dropping below freezing. Pack warm clothing: Layers are key. Bring thermal underwear, thick sweaters, a heavy winter coat, a warm hat, gloves, and a scarf. Consider renting warm clothing: If you don't own winter gear, you can rent it in Sapa.
2.Limited Visibility and Slippery Roads:
Be cautious on mountain roads: Fog and mist can reduce visibility, making driving or riding a motorbike dangerous. Hire a local guide or driver: They know the roads well and can navigate safely.
Wear appropriate footwear: Sturdy, waterproof boots with good traction are essential.
3.Mountain Sickness:
Acclimatize gradually: If you're not used to high altitudes, spend some time in lower elevations before heading to Sapa. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.Listen to your body: If you experience symptoms like headache, nausea, or dizziness, rest and descend to a lower altitude.
4.Limited Activities:
Some outdoor activities may be restricted: Due to the cold and harsh weather, some trekking routes may be closed. Plan indoor activities: Consider visiting local markets, trying traditional cuisine, or relaxing in a cozy cafe.
5.Cultural Sensitivity:
Respect local customs and traditions: Dress modestly, especially when visiting religious sites. Learn a few basic Vietnamese phrases: This can help you communicate with locals and show respect. Be mindful of your impact on the environment: Avoid littering and respect the natural beauty of the region.

A Serene Autumnal Escape in Sapa
#fallfoliage
Sapa in autumn is a breathtaking spectacle. The crisp air, the colorful foliage, and the serene beauty of the landscape create a truly magical atmosphere.
Standing in front of Hotel Sapa Lotus, overlooking the serene lake, I was mesmerized by the vibrant hues of autumn. The mountains, once lush green, were now adorned with fiery reds, golden yellows, and deep oranges. It was as if nature had painted a masterpiece.
The tranquility of the lake, reflecting the colorful foliage, added to the serene ambiance. The gentle lapping of the water against the shore, coupled with the rustling of leaves, created a symphony of nature's sounds.
It was a moment of pure bliss, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sapa in autumn is truly a hidden gem, and I'm grateful to have experienced its beauty firsthand.

A Journey Through Time: A Hmong Tribe Visit Experience
#voyagevibes
I've always been drawn to the allure of the unknown, the desire to immerse myself in cultures far removed from my own. My journey to the Hmong tribe in Sapa was no exception.
The trek was arduous, but every step was worth it. The mist-kissed mountains, the terraced rice fields shimmering in the sunlight, and the quaint villages nestled amidst the verdant landscape were simply breathtaking. But it was the encounter with the Hmong people that truly enriched my experience. Our host family welcomed us with open arms, inviting us into their humble abode. We shared simple meals, listened to their stories, and witnessed their daily rituals. The warmth and hospitality of the Hmong people were truly heartwarming.
The highlight of our stay was the opportunity to learn about their traditional practices. We watched as they wove intricate patterns into their textiles, learned about their medicinal herbs, and even tried our hand at some of their crafts.
This experience was more than just a vacation; it was a cultural immersion. It was a chance to connect with a community, to learn about their traditions, and to appreciate their way of life. It was a journey that will stay with me forever.
