SOLO TRAVEL IN TROMSO : SNOWSHOEING ADVENTURE
#solotravel
I had an amazing time on my solo travel adventure in Tromsøya, especially during the guided snowshoeing activity.
It is an activity where you walk over snow using specially designed footwear, called snowshoes.
A total of 2.5 hours was spent exploring the snowy landscapes, giving me plenty of time to immerse myself in the winter magic that I won't get back in my country.
This is an activity you must do at least once in your lifetime ! Truly unforgettable experience !

So far, it is the most beautiful night view I have ever seen--Tromsø
So far, it is the most beautiful night view I have ever seen--Tromsø Today, I want to share with everyone the super beautiful winter night view of Tromsø,
this place is simply the epitome of a Nordic winter wonderland!
Speaking of which, the winter nights in Tromsø are like the river of stars in the city of Estelle, simply too beautiful!
First, let's talk about the Aurora Borealis that everyone pays attention to, it's like Tromsø's night banquet specialty,
simply an irresistible visual feast!
The Aurora Borealis blooms in the sky, with green, purple, and pink lights weaving through the stars,
look, everyone's jaw has dropped, right? It feels like being reborn!
If you haven't been amazed by the Aurora Borealis yet, then let's continue to appreciate the other night views of Tromsø!
The fjords and mountains of Tromsø are also so enchanting in the winter night. When the sun sets, the entire sky is painted with a palette of gold and pink, coupled with the embellishment of snowy mountains and the ocean,
look, this scene is so cool that I can hardly keep up!
And oh, the winter night view of Tromsø is also very suitable for various fun ice and snow activities!
Skiing, snowmobiling, and even ice fishing, can you imagine releasing your energy in this beautiful scenery?
Little Oxygen, I am full of anticipation, really want to jump into the screen and start having fun right away!
Of course, in the winter nights of Tromsø, you can also taste various local specialties.
Have a cup of steaming reindeer milk tea, and a bite of fresh Norwegian salmon,
umm, you can feel the warmth and deliciousness in the cold winter night.
Chasing Magic: Tromsø's Dance of the Northern
Tromsø, Norway, is a fantastic place to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis. Its northern location, clear skies, and favorable conditions make it a prime spot for catching this natural wonder. To increase your chances, consider visiting between late September and early April, and venture outside the city lights for the best views of this breathtaking celestial display.

Tromsø car rental
Let's talk about car rental tips and sightseeing in Tromsø.
For car rental travel, there will be more choices to go to farther places, and the daily activity time will be more abundant and relaxed.
In winter, renting a car definitely requires attention to safety. Choosing an SUV model with four-wheel drive will be safer and more comfortable.
In Norway, all cars will switch to snow tires in winter, so don't worry. However, the driving speed still needs to be slower, and the braking distance will be much longer than normal.
I rented a car from Tromsø and drove all the way to Lofoten. The scenery along the way was very beautiful, but because I went in December, there was very little daylight. After about 2pm, it was already dark, and most of the time I was driving at night. So be sure to pay attention to safety ⚠️.
I drove from Tromsø to Rovaniemi on the Svolvær road, which took 8 hours with about 2 hours of rest in between. It's not recommended to drive alone, it's better to take turns with two or three people.
Fuel up ⛽️: In Norway, refueling is mostly self-service. There is a card slot next to the refueling gun where credit cards such as Visa and Master can be used. Select the corresponding fuel pump and start refueling. The whole process is basically self-operated. If you don't know how to do it, you can ask the staff for help. You don't have to worry about running out of gas and not finding a gas station along the way. There are still many gas stations available.
After driving to the Lofoten Islands, the E10 highway is one of the most beautiful self-driving roads in the world. The scenery along the way is very beautiful, mostly coastal roads. Thanks to the unique terrain of Lofoten, driving on the road is like being in a movie.
Pick-up and drop-off: The pick-up location is right outside Tromsø Airport where five or six car rental companies are located together, making it very convenient to pick up and drop off the car at the same place.
Beautiful Tromso
one of the most favourite tourist destination in Tromso. it is a definitely must go. the view is awesome! it is only a short 4 mins ride to the top. there is a cafe where you can chill and relax while waiting for sunset. the city lights are incredibly pretty. There is a cafe on the top offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks but with limited selection of foods.
Heading up#tromsø#norway at night there are chances to catch northern light if you are lucky.
Winter in Senja Island Tromso
Last winter before Covid 19 arrived, me and my friend went for Scandi trip. One of the country we've visited is Tromsø, Norway.
It was unforgettable moment that we've experienced. Truly amaze with the country. Hats off to the owner of airbnb. I'm so thankful for the best experience.
Please scroll my picture. The airbnb that we've booked is so beautiful. Manage to see aurora with my naked eyes and dolphines too.
Nearby attraction in Tromso is : Funicular Fjellheisen. From the top, you can see the Tromsø town from above. if you love to hike, you can do it too. It is so refreshing up there!
Enjoy!!

Absolutely amazing views! This is a must do when you're here in tromsø!! It may be a little pricey but I promise it is well worth the views especially in winter time with the snow! It was snowing when we visited. The mountains are all covered with snow.
At the top there is a restaurant with coffee and tea. Also a very nice view from the cafe if you want to take a break.
Absolutely brilliant. Well worth a visit, and the views are spectacular.

Tromsø Cathedral
#celebratewithtrip
We didn’t really go inside the church as it was closed, just saw it while taking a walk. This cathedral is notable since it is the only Norwegian cathedral made of wood.
The yellow, wooden cathedral was built in a long church format and in the Gothic Revival style in 1861 by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church tower and main entrance are on the west front. It is probably the northernmost Protestant cathedral in the world. With over 600 seats, it is one of Norway's biggest wooden churches. It originally held about 984 seats, but many benches and seats have been removed over the years to make room for tables in the back of the church.

Beautiful cathedral. One of the landmarks of the city. Walked over the Tromsø bridge and it was definitely a fun walk and exciting to see the close getting closer and close as you battled the wind to get there. You can easily locate it from Fjellheisen too. For a place designed and built in the '60s, the cathedral looks very modern and clean. Such a joy to visit this incredible cathedral.

Tromso Norway เมืองแห่งการล่าแสงเหนือ 🇳🇴
🇳🇴 Tromsø is a small city in northern Norway. It is considered a destination for northern lights hunters because this is one of the places with the highest chances of seeing the northern lights in the world.
🌲 In addition to hunting for the northern lights, Tromsø also has many interesting tourist attractions, such as the cable car that we can take to the highest viewpoint in Norway. See the city in a stunning panoramic view. But it's very cold because it's on a mountain that is mostly covered in snow all year round. Followed by the Arctic Aquarium, where there are live seals and cute penguins waiting to welcome you. There is also a beautiful and classic old Christian church that you can go in and take pictures. From my experience, I would say that this city is a peaceful city with lovely people. Just walking around and enjoying the atmosphere is so awesome. But don't forget to grab a cup of hot coffee to warm up your body because this city is extremely cold. 🥶
⭐️ To get there, you have to take a connecting flight from Oslo, the capital of Norway. From there, you can take a bus into the city. Tell the driver where to get off and he will call for you. But if you don't get off in time, don't worry. You can take another round. Because he drove around the city. 😄
🍓 You can buy food at the supermarket. There are food shops that sell food similar to our rice with curry. Delicious, economical, and very filling. I will review the food for you again.
The world is wide. You have to travel to know. ✌️

In Northern Europe, as long as the latitude is high, the weather is good, there is no light pollution, and the probability of seeing the aurora is relatively large. Even if the above three conditions are met, the aurora does not appear every day. It is recommended to stay in the local area for more than 3 days, and the most The hot spotlights are in northern Norway and northern Finland. Norway's Tromso is located in the middle of the Aurora Ellipse, with a higher latitude than northern Sweden and northern Finland. It is also warmed by the Atlantic warm current and is therefore one of the best places to watch aurora in Northern Europe.
Preparation before preparation
1, European standard conversion head, featuring two round heads.
2 If you travel in winter, you need to prepare for cold protection, bring warm baby (you can keep yourself and electronic equipment)
3, toiletries (no toiletries and slippers are available in all Norwegian hotels) / Hh/4, portable small pot, if you are not used to European food, or too high consumption, then this cooking artifact may save your stomach.
Norwegian Aurora must experience
Northern Europe There are many ways to miss the most. The Northern Lights are one of them. If you want to go to a place without light pollution, you must drive to the outskirts of the city. Traveling by cruise is perhaps the best. The way, away from the town, the outdoor deck on the boat is a good viewing area. If you find the aurora, the broadcast in the cabin will be prompted, and you won't miss any moments.
Food recommendation
smoked fish series is one of the must-try foods in Europe, with fresh lemon juice and excellent taste; long-legged crabs are recommended to live and eat, and there is special in the Kirkenes area. A project to go fishing in the sea.
The largest city in the Arctic Circle, Troms.
I saw a dog blown up on the street, and its owner grabbed the leash and laughed. The cruise ship at the entrance of the hotel was unable to sail because of the gust of wind for three days. It was brightly lit in the twilight of the color temperature of 6000. I saw it recalling the night from Copenhagen to Oslo and suddenly felt dizzy.
The docking of the cruise ship makes the cold fairyland at the end of the world lively. The cafes and bars on the street are filled with people from the cruise. The moment I entered the cafe with the snow-covered door, I was most satisfied. The air was mixed with the aroma of coffee and cinnamon, and the warmth came. The heavy snow outside the window almost obscured the line of sight, and the coffee cup in the hand was hot and fragrant.
Because of the North Atlantic warm current, the water here is not frozen all year round. A true egoist needs the sound of the water at the bottom of the boat to realize the poverty or abundance.
Aurora Shooting Guide | Full-frame camera, the larger the wide angle of the lens, the better (35mm or less), the larger the aperture is better (greater than f2.8), the ISO is raised to the limit that can be tolerated, the long exposure, the focal length is adjusted to infinity and then the callback a little bit.
aperture: maximum aperture.
ISO: 800-6400 is possible, depending on the ambient light and the required shutter speed.
Shutter speed: From 1 second to 30 seconds depending on the aurora, but usually within 10 seconds to capture the form of aurora. The time is too long and the stars will be dragged. The lower the kp value, the slower the shutter. The general rule is that when the auroral index is below KP3, the change is slower; when the index reaches KP5 or above, the aurora jumps and dances in the night, and there will be an ever-changing form in a few seconds, which requires a shutter speed of 2-5 seconds. Record the shape of the aurora. The above parameters are only for reference, the aurora changes unpredictable, and the aurora that meets the sky is going to adjust the shutter speed according to the situation at that time, and more and more groping.
Focus: Like the starry sky, the camera cannot complete autofocus in a dark environment. The camera aurora is converted to manual focus mode, and the anti-shock and auto ISO functions are turned off. Turn on live view to zoom in on the image and adjust the focus ring until the image is sharp.
How to shoot portraits: Many people will use their mobile phones or flashlights to light their faces. Please do not! It will be like a flash in the night, the light is very hard and super unnatural. It is best to use distant light sources, such as lights, house lights, can be far away, and the shutter speed is less than 5 seconds.

Chasing the Northern Lights in Tromsø
During my recent trip to Tromsø, I had the unforgettable experience of becoming an aurora hunter. Surrounded by the stunning Arctic landscapes, I ventured into the cold, dark skies in search of the magical Northern Lights. The anticipation was palpable as we drove through the snowy wilderness, chasing clear skies. When the auroras finally appeared, dancing in vibrant green and purple hues, it was a sight like no other. The beauty of the moment made the chill worth it, and I couldn’t help but feel connected to the majestic forces of nature. Tromsø truly captured my heart.
