We stayed one night in Trieste at The Modernist Hotel. The hotel is in a historic building, but the rooms are chic. Trieste is not a big city, so the hotel is conveniently located - we walked only 15 minutes from the train station. It is also less than a 15 minute walk to the cruise pier, where we needed to depart. Several grocery stores, restaurants, and shops are located around the immediate area. #italy #Trieste

Incredible dinner in Trieste (north Italy), Tenda Rossa restaurant. In 2024 the best Restaurant if you wanna eat fish there. The view is amazing. The fish is fresh and tasty. Really good the linguine con le vongole (pasta with clams) and especially spaghetti all’ aragosta (pasta with lobster). The list of Italian wine is also good. We have chosen Pinot Grigio from Collavini, always good choice.
