A Summer Encounter in Suncheon
Although Suncheon is generally recommended for travel in spring or autumn, we decided to visit in the summer to enjoy the bright, clear skies. As expected, the green gardens under the magnificent blue sky offered a fantastic view. When it got too hot, we took a break in the botanical garden, and as the sun set, we had fun at the playground. It seems that Suncheon Bay National Garden is beautiful in any season.

Arriving in a Fairy Tale World by Train
The most comfortable way to visit Suncheon from Seoul for a 2-day, 1-night trip is definitely by KTX rather than driving! While having a car is essential if you plan to visit various tourist spots in Suncheon, we decided to take the train since we only planned to stay within the Suncheon Bay National Garden. This year, a new workation accommodation opened within the Suncheon Bay Garden, offering a perfect place to stay with 300,000 pyeong of garden space as your front yard. Moreover, the weekend peak season rate is very affordable at just 150,000 KRW per night. Take the train and visit Suncheon.

1️⃣ #SeokjeongVillage
My favorite maple tree spot in Suncheon🍁
The picture is from mid-October, so the maple leaves are not as pretty, but they were still so pretty🥺🧡
It's even prettier if you take a picture from the tree side at SeokjeongVillage Welfare Center🤍
📍 153 Seokheung-ri, Nakan-myeon, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do
----------------------------------
2️⃣ #DuneungVillage
A village where a large tree welcomes you from the entrance🌳
The village seen from the pavilion next to the tree is cozy💛
☑️ Inside the village is the #LeeClanGarden, an open garden in Suncheon-si (📸 7)

3️⃣ #SuncheonBayNationalGarden
A place where you can see the reeds no matter how you look at it🌾🌾
When you look at the reeds swaying in the wind in the vast field, all your worries will go away✨
--------------------------------------------
Looking at the autumnal pictures, I want to go see the fall foliage too🥺✨
Many gardens in one
The Suncheon Nation Garden is composed of many different gardens that were inspired by many regions of the world. when going there I was not expecting to see so many different types of vegetations and garden designs, but I was gladly surprise. There is also a cable car that you can take, but be aware of the time it ends. I wasn’t able to take the cable car as I got there too late.

🍚Review: Introducing the local restaurant 'Manseok Gukbap House' near Suncheon Station! Manseok Gukbap House is located a 3-minute walk from Suncheon Train Station and is a restaurant known only to local residents with great reviews. I went there on the recommendation of a friend who lives in Suncheon, and it was the most memorable restaurant during my trip to Suncheon. It was a truly happy meal with a variety of delicious side dishes and refreshing noodle soup with bean sprouts at an affordable price. In addition, I received a plum drink and kumquats as a service. I had a warm day thanks to the kind owner and delicious food. Highly recommended to those who are going to Suncheon Station :)

Party room recommendation 🎉
📌Suncheon place01
These days, everyone is looking for a private party room because of the coronavirus, right?? Last year, when Corona was really bad, I also avoided Corona and had a birthday party with my friends in a party room. I was so happy because it was the kind of feeling I like! The chiffon curtains enhanced the mood, and there was a beam projector, various kitchenware, and speakers, and there was a bed so you could rest, so you just need to bring food and your body!! I highly recommend it on days like today 💗

This is another highly recommended spot if you are traveling to South Korea during the autumn foliage season and feel bored with the atmosphere in Seoul. I suggest heading south to Suncheon Province. It is a vast reed garden. On the day I visited, there were hardly any people, probably because it was a weekday. However, even if it gets crowded, you can still find plenty of photo spots because the area is so spacious. The atmosphere is great, and there is a bus that goes directly there. Highly recommended!
