Price per Person - SGD40 Rating - 8/10 Decided to try Airbnb for my stay in BKK this time round. Found quite a good one near to Nana BTS & also quite affordable. The unit itself is nice, clean & neat, equipped with a kitchenette for light cooking. There is even a microwave for u to heat up ur 7-11 meals in the night. The check in was very smooth with my host greeting me personally at the location. The place comes with 24/7 security at the lobby, a swimming pool & gym too. There is a 7-11 right opposite of the airbnb location, definitely convenient for some late night snacks. There are lots of massage places & nightlife activities around in the vicinity too. Head out & go have some fun without having the trouble of finding a Taxi back, as you can easily walk back. You can find such listing on Airbnb. There are many other options at other areas too. Being someone who loves scones I was curious and went into check it out. I spoke to the staff and understood that the scones are baked daily in store. They had a variety of scones available, Earl Grey, Blueberry crumble, Original butter scones, caramel chocolate , Thai tea and chocolate scones. I selected 2 top selling flavours and ordered a iced cold Thai tea to enjoy the scones with. The scones were very fresh and warm, I enjoyed having them :)

Gateway located at Ekammai BTS station Sukhumvit line is one of the unique mall in Bangkok. The whole mall is renovated and run as a Japanese Theme Shopping Mall. Here you can find all kinds of Japanese Goods and Cuisine. I visited this place many times as it was close to where I stay. I always come to these mall for some cakes and desserts directly flew in from Japan. Very yummy and taste wonderful. There are various kind of Japanese convenient stores and grocery shops. Monjayaki is served in a hot pan, similar to Okonomiyaki (Japanese pizza), but the batter is thinner than that of Japanese pizza. It's fun to fan and eat it yourself, like playing with food when you were a kid. You get to scrape it into thin, crispy pieces to enjoy the aroma from the pan. It's not filling, but it's a lot of fun and very enjoyable. There are many toppings to choose from, such as squid, shrimp, mentaiko fish roe, cheese, and mochi. Additionally, they make their own fresh Udon noodles here, which are perfectly chewy. Having it as a set with mixed tempura is very delicious. Another recommended dish is the cold tofu, fried to a perfect crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with a well-rounded flavored soup. The one bedroom suite comes with a living room and a small kitchen which is well equipped with cutlery and microwave oven inside . It is a great stay here .
