Brisbane Festival Installation Art
The annual Brisbane Festival is a three-week celebration of art, theatre, music, dance and more. Over 1,000 unforgettable entertainment performances, including 319 free events, 13 world premieres, 4 Australian premieres, and over 1,200 performers. For three weeks, the entire city of Brisbane is filled with a festive atmosphere, watching street performances at the rooftop bars of South Bank in Brisbane; strolling through the city streets to discover creative installations.
Among them, the night-time light sculpture Lightscape in Brisbane City Botanic Gardens continues until October 12; this year, there is also the highly anticipated children's play "The Stylish Long Legs" premiere. The Brisbane Festival is a city-wide surprise exploration for visitors of all ages.
Tip: The currently exclusive exhibition at the Queensland Art Gallery and Modern Art Gallery (QAGOMA), "Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses" will continue until October 7. The flagship exhibition, the 11th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT11) (November 30, 2024 - April 27, 2025), will feature exciting live performances, film screenings and roundtable discussions.
Toowoomba Flower Carnival
Toowoomba, Queensland, is known as the "Garden City", and the annual Toowoomba Flower Carnival attracts flower lovers from all over the world. It is not only an adult's playground, but also a child's paradise. The event lasts for four weeks, with special themed activities every weekend for you to explore, including visits to award-winning flower parks, stunning private gardens, colourful street parades, world-class music performances, floristry, stilt performances and carnival role-playing.
Queensland Music Road - Tropical Road Music Festival
The Queensland Music Road is a pioneering musical road trip experience, combining exciting live music with self-driving travel. You will enjoy unique musical feasts at unique venues in various regions of Queensland. The carefully planned itinerary combines Queensland's natural beauty to create a unique musical travel experience that resonates with the beat.
The Queensland Music Road starts in the vibrant inland in April each year, arrives in the serene and vast south in May, passes through the leisurely and relaxed Whitsunday Islands in July, heads north to the trendy and vibrant Brisbane in September, and continues north to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef, a World Heritage Site, in October. The event ends in the serene and beautiful Scenic Rim in November.
This year's Tropical Music Road will be the most watched Dream Aloud performance on October 5th, the first celebration of contemporary indigenous music artists, and the Shine On Gimuy light art exhibition will be open to the public on Cairns City's Esplanade from October 3rd to 7th.
Tip: You can choose one or more Queensland Music Tours based on your preferred music style.
Gold Coast 500 Supercar Race
For one weekend only, the Gold Coast will be known for supercars rather than surfing. Get ready for the Gold Coast 500 Supercar Race: the beachfront streets transform into a world-class racetrack, where you can sit in the front row and watch internationally renowned drivers speed past, burning rubber and igniting cheers. Stroll through the streets of Surfers Paradise and find a viewing spot that suits you, where you can watch the V8 Supercars, Hot Wheels Utes and Super Trucks up close. There are also meet-and-greets, a huge music festival line-up and helicopter tours to take the excitement to the next level.
Tip: Adult tickets include free entry for one child under 12, and there are plenty of children's activities in the children's area.
Pan Pacific Masters Games
Australia is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, and the Pan Pacific Masters Games is a must-attend event for sports enthusiasts. The ten-day event will host 46 sporting events, with no eligibility requirements, only a minimum age requirement (most events are open to participants over 30). Of course, don't underestimate the event, after all it is a competition, both fierce and friendly.
Tip: In addition to the exciting daytime events, there will be live performances by Australian bands and singers at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in the evenings, so book in advance for double the fun.
Airlie Beach Music Festival on the Whitsundays
There are many ways to explore the beach, you can take a helicopter or seaplane for a bird's-eye view of the beach; you can also take a boat to the beach and touch the fine sand with your feet; you can also experience skydiving, freefalling to see the whole picture and landing on the beach, feeling the adrenaline rush. The romantic and beautiful Whitsunday Islands give you another way to explore the beach - attend the Airlie Beach Music Festival, with over 50 hot live performances, against the backdrop of the Great Barrier Reef, leaving you with unforgettable musical memories of your beautiful Whitsunday Islands trip.
Tip: From the large white marquee next to the Whitsunday Islands Sailing Club to all the restaurants and bars, it's all exciting!
On an October morning, greet the sunrise from the magnificent mountaintop, with panoramic views of the Great Barrier Reef, and embark on another soul-stirring journey to a better you.

In Queensland, there is the beach of my dreams
Upon opening my eyes, it's a world of blue and white.
The white silica sand meets the azure sea,
just like melting ice cream.
Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach
are the dream beaches for every beach lover.
📍Hill Inlet & Whitehaven Beach
Whitehaven Beach is located in Queensland, and is possibly one of the most famous beaches among the many islands of the Whitsundays. It is made up of white silica sand with a purity of 98%, and it feels soft and cool under bare feet.
🚤You can join a day tour group, departing from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island to reach Whitehaven Beach.
🚶You can also go to the viewing platform at Tongue Point on Whitsunday Island, to admire the layers of blue and white at Hill Inlet.
🚁Or take a sightseeing plane, and take in this palette of God from the air.
📒Travel tips:
>> September to November is usually the best season to visit Whitehaven Beach, when the weather is stable and the temperature is suitable.
>> If you come between June and September, you may have the chance to encounter migrating whales.
>> No matter when you come, remember to protect yourself from the sun, and don't forget your swimsuit!

We set off from Cairns and sailed out to the Great Barrier Reef. The weather is very good, sitting on the deck and basking in the sun and blowing the sea breeze. 🌍
When the ship slowly sailed out of the high seas, the color of the sea gradually changed from dark blue to emerald green. It was really beautiful!!💙💙💙
The place that I once dreamed of is in front of me!Amazing! The underwater world is wonderful ! you can also do a helicopter overlooking the Great Barrier Reef panorama, or take a stroll under the sea.

Our memorable weddingmoon trip
Getting married on the sunny Gold Coast was never expected till it happens. Combining the trip with our honeymoon was the best choice we ever made. We had a mini road trip along the three cities in Queensland Gold Coast > Brisbane > Sunshine Coast.
Sitting on a hot air balloon with my other half was a romantic dream of mine. The place was beautiful, everyone was up in the sky watch the sunrise! Everyone should really try it if they have the chance.
In 2024, I would really want to visit Korea with my partner.

Millaa Millaa Falls can be found close to the charming town of Millaa Millaa, the name of which is taken from the Aboriginal phrase MaMu that refers to a rainforest vine that is common in the area. It is surrounded by lush rainforest located on the Waterfalls Circuit in Cairns, Queensland, Australia.
This magnificent waterfall has been on the Heritage Register since 2005. It is one of the most famous waterfalls in the Atherton Tablelands due to its aesthetic appeal and iconic representation. The images of the falls are some of the most recognised from the region, many of which are used to advertise the Tablelands and the surrounding scenery.
The waterfall is around 18 metres high and the falls cascade perfectly to a pristine waterhole below where you can enjoy a refreshing swim or take an afternoon dip. There's also a lovely grassy picnic area for you to relax.
Millaa Millaa Falls is a must see when visiting Cairns as it is one of the most photographed in all of Australia, so make sure you bring your camera and of course, your bathers!

For the first time I heard the name The Gold Coast, I thought it was a beach. It was actually a famous attraction in the beautiful city Queensland. 😁
I preffered island tours and that's why I came here. Every time I see the coastline, tiredness would have gone. The sky was so blue and the white sand atracted me a lot. Hope to live here in the future.🌊

Airlie Beach | Sea fishing is really exciting
This is the first sea fishing in my life! Although the waves are a bit seasick, it is so interesting. It took about an hour to start from the dock and finally found a suitable location for sea fishing, stopping the boat and releasing the line. I didn't expect the newcomers to be so powerful. I caught three fish in one breath. The two were put back in the sea because the size was too small. One can take it away for dinner!

In addition to the castle ruins, you can also see natural waterfalls, verdant rainforests, and fireflies at night. This fairytale scene makes this one of Australia's three major wedding venues!
