In the busy pace of life, weekend time is always particularly precious, and a unique dining experience can add a different color to this precious time. Upon hearing that a super fashionable western restaurant, Chongyan Restaurant and Bar, had just opened at Changshu Longteng Hilton Hotel, I went there with great anticipation, ready to embark on a wonderful journey on the tip of my tongue this weekend night.
Enter the hotel and go to the 12th floor. Then, through the garden of the lobby bar, you can arrive at Chongyan Restaurant accompanied by the sunset! The simple yet elegant design elements, looking at Qin Lake and the TV Tower opposite, make people relax instantly. The 12th floor is the bar, the area for foreign liquor, cocktails and live band performances. The lighting is soft and romantic. The bartenders skillfully wave the utensils in their hands to mix colorful and fragrant cocktails. The band's performance was wonderful, and the soothing music flowed in the air, blending perfectly with the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere around it, creating a perfect prelude to the dinner that was about to begin.
Moving from the 12th floor to the steak restaurant on the 11th floor, the unique charm of Chongyan Restaurant is once again revealed. As soon as the elevator opened, there was a cabinet full of steaks, so shocking! The restaurant's decoration is mainly warm colors, and the stylish tables and chairs are matched with exquisite tableware, creating a warm dining environment while maintaining a sense of fashion. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the scenery of Qin Lake and the night view of the city. The bright lights and the night are intertwined, adding a romantic atmosphere to the dining experience.
The waiter enthusiastically guided us to our seat and handed us the menu. The dinner dishes were rich and varied, and every dish was mouth-watering.
The first dish served was the appetizer, marinated salmon fillet with fresh fennel. The tender salmon fillet was carefully marinated and had a delicate taste. Paired with fresh and refreshing vegetables, it instantly whetted the taste buds.
The Spanish Serrano ham slices, as thin as a cicada's wing, exude an enticing aroma and melt in your mouth. The salty and fragrant taste spreads on the tip of your tongue, leaving you with an endless aftertaste.
Grilled mixed root vegetables with berries and burrata cheese. This dish perfectly combines the sweetness of grilled vegetables, the sourness of berries and the rich milky flavor of burrata cheese. It has a rich taste and distinct layers.
After tasting the appetizers, the classic seafood soup was served. The waiter poured the soup into the bowl. The soup had a rich color and a fragrant aroma. The seafood ingredients in the soup were rich and varied, including tender shrimp, delicious scallops, etc. You could feel the gift of the sea in every bite.
The main course, Pasta, is spaghetti with bacon, mushroom, anchovy and creamy tomato sauce, which is also excellent. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a nice chewy texture. The creamy tomato sauce is rich and mellow, with the sweetness of cream and the sweet and sour taste of tomatoes. It blends with the flavors of bacon, mushrooms and anchovies, making every bite full of rich Italian flavor.
For the main course, the Australian Angus ribeye steak with skewered tomatoes is undoubtedly the highlight. The steak was cooked to perfect doneness, slightly charred on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. With one cut, the tender meat juice slowly flows out. When you put it in your mouth, the tender texture and unique aroma of the beef burst out instantly, and paired with the sweet and sour skewered tomatoes, it is both refreshing and flavorful, making you intoxicated.
The seafood platter is equally amazing. The roasted garlic oysters are plump, tender and juicy, and the aroma of garlic is perfectly combined with the deliciousness of oysters. The roasted cod fillet is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the fish meat is tender and delicate. The roasted asparagus is fresh and refreshing, adding a refreshing taste to the whole platter.
After enjoying the sumptuous main course, the dessert of panna cotta with raspberry jelly and mango passion fruit popcorn was the perfect end to this gourmet journey. You have to make this dessert yourself.
