|Pingjiang Xianguyan Guide. Xianguyan is located in Changshou Town, Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, also known as Red Army Camp, a place where the Red Army actually stayed. It is a red tourist attraction. Originally, there was only a bare mountain. In the past two years, it has been developed and several entertainment projects have been added, including via ferrata, suspension bridge, glass viewing platform, glass plank road, aerial swing and zipline. Therefore, it is also a good choice to drive there specifically to play the projects. It takes about two and a half hours to drive from Changsha. If several people go together, it is estimated that it will take about three hours to complete all the projects. If you want to play the projects, it is more cost-effective to buy a package ticket. There seem to be only two types of package tickets: one includes all projects, and the other does not include via ferrata and suspension bridge. Don't go when the weather is hot, as the projects on the mountain are exposed to the sun. Project introduction: First: Via ferrata, also known as rock climbing. The most difficult and physically demanding project. The mountain is not high, but it has two bends. The rest of the route is flat, but it is still quite long. The most difficult part is in the middle, where you can't see the beginning or end. It is estimated that it will take at least half an hour for an average person to climb. If there are more people, it will take longer, probably one or two hours. It is a pity not to play this project, but after playing it, you may not want to play it again. Second: Flying over Luding Bridge (suspension bridge). Via ferrata and suspension bridge are connected. You either play both or neither. If you play via ferrata, you must cross the suspension bridge. After crossing the suspension bridge, you can continue to other projects. Wooden planks with gaps. There will be a slight wobble in the middle, but it is still easy to cross as long as you don't intentionally wobble. (If you don't play via ferrata and suspension bridge, you need to climb the mountain. It is a bit steep, but not difficult to climb. It takes about ten to twenty minutes.) Third: Glass viewing platform, a place to take photos and enjoy the scenery. It is relatively small and not very special. Fourth: Cliff adventure (glass plank road). The previously popular glass plank road. The middle part is made of glass with gaps. There is a safety rope hanging above. Walk back and forth. After crossing the Flying over Luding Bridge, there is no point in playing this project. It is just for taking photos. Fifth: Eagle soaring (cliff swing). I think this is the best project among all. It is pulled to the highest point (not exceeding 90 degrees) and then released. Therefore, only the first moment is a bit scary. After that, it is just like swinging on a swing. You can't see the ground when you swing out, so it is not very scary. Sixth: Sky soldier (zipline). A shortcut to go down the mountain. The speed is adjusted according to weight, and it is relatively slow. You can enjoy the scenery. The downhill road is steep, and this is a quick and convenient way to go down. After taking the zipline, it is very comfortable to go down the mountain. The trees provide shade, making it especially cool. Pass through Yixiantian. If you are not in a hurry, you can sit down and enjoy the scenery. It is quite unique. Specialty: Pickled dried tofu. You can buy loose ones on the way back through Anding Town (the origin of pickled dried tofu). They are not vacuum-packed, so the taste is better and fresher. Surroundings: There are many attractions on the road from Anding to the expressway exit, including Amazon Water Park, Lianyunshan Rafting and Tuolongxia Rafting, which are only open in summer. You will also pass through Chunxi Town, which has beautiful scenery. If you are staying for two days and one night, you can stay there. There is a bonfire party in the evening.
