The train station is some distance away from the city. I called a Tuk, negotiated the price with the driver, and got an ideal price. Then I got on the train and went directly to the hotel. The next day, I went to appreciate the famous stone Buddha head in the tree on the Internet. In fact, it is the original temple, but it has a new beauty over time. The whole temple is very similar to the style of Angkor Wat. It is very shocking. Especially the stone Buddha head in the tree to tour the scenery, and there are all kinds of snacks in the night market food street. It is a very warm place.

* . 🚀 . I went to Ayutthaya after a long time and I have to thank my Chinese relatives who searched for tourist attractions and took me there within that night. They said, "I want to come here (here refers to all the temples in Ayutthaya)." So, we had to change our plans abruptly. At first, we were going to visit the temples around Ratchaburi , but then we separated from other relatives and went on our own. We took our relatives to visit the old city instead (亲人 qīnrén means relatives). Please pray for my little sister, lol. 5555555 ♡ We traveled by private car from home (van) and it was an Oneday tour! It's not an illegal tour, lol. We even had a guide with us. 555555555 (just kidding, this was a private trip with family and we didn't receive any payment, so it doesn't count as income) ♡ The weather was so hot and humid when we arrived. It was raining heavily before we got there, but the rain stopped when we arrived. Then it turned into a scorching heat. However, our relatives were so determined and didn't care about the heat. They just kept walking and walking. We had to give up 😭. After we finished walking, we sat down and enjoyed some delicious durian (the durian was brought from home and just harvested from the orchard). But it was already afternoon by the time we finished walking. The trip was over! 🥑 Actually, we only went to visit the Mahathat temple. 555555 Because we didn't know if other relatives were Buddhist or not. Our relatives told us that they didn't worship the Buddha in the afternoon, so we stopped there. Then we went to Window shopping elsewhere. * We left Ratchaburi at 8 am and arrived in Ayutthaya after 3 hours. We visited the temple, had lunch, went back to Bangkok, checked into the hotel, went shopping, and then watched the "Ladyboy Show (人妖表演 Rényāo biǎoyǎn)." Finally, we ended the day by going for a walk, drinking milk tea, having dinner, and returning to the hotel. If you are tired of walking around the trail, there are several cafes across from Wat Mahathat and Wat Ratchaburana. Today we choosed one of the popular restaurant Prang View Cafe. Oh my! #passionpassport This place is amazing. You could spend hours looking through the ruins imagining what they would have been like originally. There's also another entire section of temples across the road, behind where everyone else goes at the main tourist area, which is in fact more intact, and it's only a two minute walk to the next block, where there are no tourists at all. This place is truly an amazing temple complex and it covers a very large area. It's located right next to one of the main streets of town, so easy to get a drink, meal or tuk-tuk nearby also. Entry to the main park is 10 baht. As part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, it is highly recommended to add this place to your list of places to visit in Thailand, and there's another eight or nine temple complexes within spitting distance! You could literally spend a week looking at them all. It is only an hour and twenty minutes from Bangkok by taxi and expect to pay around 2,000 baht☺️ If you find a good English-speaking taxi driver, they'll even give you a guided tour and get you around town.

We came here via our own rented car and do take note that you are require to cover your legs as a form of respect. There are many Buddhists ruins located here like that Wat Mahathat, the Bueng Phra Ram Park. It is a huge park with many photo opportunities. Also a thing to note is that it gets really warm in the afternoon so remember to bring water with you. Park also does require an entry fee as well.

You can only see the legs of the Buddha statues in Wat Mahathat, which also gives a slightly bizarre feeling. Besides the statues, the ruins and architectural structures are grand and magnificent, making it a great place to take once-in-a-lifetime photos. The interior is larger than expected, so I recommend taking your time to explore leisurely.
