Last but not least, if you’re looking for a decent restaurant, I would recommend you to try
Founding Farmer. I would recommend you to try the Chicken and waffles 🧇 It was really good and you can also order their very fresh seasonal vegetables 🥦 It costs us around $20-$35 per pax.

Definitely worth to visit the United States capitol. It’s beautiful and one of the political center of the most powerful country in the world. Easily spent several hours around the area to enjoy the architecture and the beautiful lawn. Worth to make an appointment to have a guided tour to inside the United States Capitol. Would be a great experience and definitely worth the time. Notice that guided tour inside the United States Capitol has been suspended since Covid. Hope it will resume soon and tourists can enjoy the tool again. Also, it is not a too bad walk from the states capitol to the Washington Monument and White House if you like walk. Beautiful and clean walk pass.

The Capitol Building is the seat of Congress and typically a part of anyone's tour of Washington. Provided the House of Representatives and the Senate are in session, it is possible to obtain tickets to get into the galleries in both chambers. These are available in the offices of Congresspersons and Senators. The second picture is the view looking up into the rotunda.

The capitol is one of those places you have to go to while in Washington D.C. It's one of those places you've seen a hundred times on television but seeing it in real life makes you appreciate it so much more. We loved having a picnic in front of the steps while watching other tourists try and get the perfect angle for their shots.

The Capitol is one of the landmark buildings in the United States. I personally came into contact with this building that often appeared on TV screens, and my heart was inevitably surging. After some careful contact, I felt the charm of it. The white parliament is surrounded by lawns and woods and looks like ivory carvings placed on a green carpet. Here, not only is it attracted by the beautiful environment, but also admire the American attitude towards history and the pursuit of freedom. Outside the Capitol, a pool of clear water surrounds the surrounding, and a variety of exquisite sculptures stand beside it. The blue sky and green trees are not like a national office, but more like a beautiful park.

Explore Washington, D.C. in the Fall 🍂
#FallTravel
Visiting Washington D.C. during the fall semester was an amazing experience. The trees glowing in warm hues of red and orange make the city look magical and add a unique atmosphere to the famous landmarks.
I enjoyed walking through the parks, including the National Mall, where you can see historical landmarks like the Washington Monument and the Capitol. The air was fresh and the atmosphere was perfect for walking and taking pictures.
Visiting museums like the Smithsonian was a great cultural experience. There were many exhibits and events that provided an opportunity to explore history and art.
We tried local cuisine at a nearby restaurant, which was varied and delicious. Washington in the fall is an enchanting blend of history and natural beauty, making it an ideal place to explore. 🏛️🌳

US Study Tour 10.
Most attractions in Washington are free, but some require reservations.
The Capitol has strict security checks, and you can't visit on your own. You need to follow a designated guide.
The main attractions are the "First Floor Hall," "Central Hall," and "Statue Hall." If you're interested, you can also make a reservation to attend a congressional meeting, but photography is prohibited.
The Library of Congress's treasures are two Bibles, but I'm more interested in this manuscript of "Chinese Travel Notes."
The Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial are both "been there, done that" attractions.
Washington's political center is a straight line.
Library of Congress gate, hall, and main reading room.
Washington Monument, reservations required to reach the top, but I couldn't get one.
US Capitol (not the White House), the ceiling of the Central Hall features a painting of "The Apotheosis of Washington."
Lincoln Memorial, just an open statue.

The United States Capitol
#usatravel #washingtondc
During our trip to Washington, D.C., we had a chance to visit the United States Capitol, the seat of the United States Congress, the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. It is an iconic symbol of American democracy and has been the site of many significant historical events.
We were very excited, as we had been planning this trip for some time. The Capitol is a beautiful architectural establishment, and we were overwhelmed by its design, which features neoclassical architecture drawing inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman designs.
One of the most recognizable features of the Capitol is its massive dome, completed in 1866 and topped by the Statue of Freedom.
Even the heat of Washington, D.C., couldn’t deter us from staying a little longer to enjoy the beauty of this magnificent landmark.

Traveling in the USA - Visiting the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument, and the Capitol
I visited Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, during my trip to the USA. As the political center of the country, I had the opportunity to visit the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the graves of Korean War veterans at Arlington, and the Capitol.
1️⃣ The Lincoln Memorial is dedicated to the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, and is said to have been modeled after the Parthenon in Greece.
2️⃣ Right next to it stands the Washington Monument, which resembles an Egyptian obelisk and soars high into the sky.
3️⃣ There is also Arlington National Cemetery, where the graves of soldiers who fought in the Korean War are located. It is famous for the quote, "Freedom is not free."
4️⃣ Additionally, the Capitol in Washington D.C., which serves a similar function to our National Assembly, is a symbolic building that is not only expansive but also within walking distance from these locations.
5️⃣ As befits the administrative capital of the United States, Washington D.C. has a neat and clean image, and I highly recommend visiting this well-ordered city.

My recent visit to the Capitol in Washington was an absolute delight. The parks surrounding the majestic building provided a tranquil setting for families to relax and enjoy picnics. I love that atmosphere, people working out and playing with their children, walking their dogs.
Exploring the museums nearby was a highlight, immersing me in the rich history and culture of the nation. The sight of squirrels scampering around added a touch of whimsy to the experience.
I couldn't resist posing like Captain America, capturing a fun and memorable moment. But I won't post it here 😂
Accessibility was a breeze, with convenient transportation options available. Overall, my visit to the Capitol was a perfect blend of beauty, education, and fun.
Some sky beautify was used on the first picture to bright it up a bit ☀

This trip... I pinned it in my mind that if I come to Washington D.C., how cold and snowy it will be, I have to check in and visit The US Capitol. Free admission with a guided tour. Opening hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-15:30. You have to book online in advance. Bring your booking documents to exchange for a headset to join the tour guide group. It takes 1 hour to see inside the Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, and the Crypt. After the tour, you will be free to walk around and take souvenir photos. So we stopped to eat at The Capital Cafe and buy souvenirs at the Gifts Shop. Once in a lifetime, you have to come here.

Take a trip to the United States Parliament
🏯 United States Capitol at Washington DC 🏯
Arriving in the capital city of Washington DC, how could we miss the most important building in the country? That is the United States Capitol Building.
This building is both an office building and a monument that represents democracy on a global level. This building has a history of more than 20 centuries.
If you go and the American flag is raised, it means that they are in a meeting and working. If it is not raised, it means that they are not in a meeting.
When I went, the building was being renovated, so I didn't get to see it in its entirety. I felt a bit sorry.

United States Capitol, the meeting place of the United States Congress, is an amazing building dominating the Mall’s landscape.
We would definitely recommend visiting this place but do book in advance. Appointments are free and guided but beware that security is strict and you will need your passport.
Once in the building, you will learn through the guided tour all the symbolistic elements that are embedded in the architecture as well as the history behind it. What must be said is that as illustrious and grand the building may look, Congress was build using black slaves with cheap immigrant (mostly European) workforce. But this is the story of D.C. and most of the U.S.. It is thought that the costs in present money and labour conditions would’ve bankrupted the U.S., should they have attempted this again.
