In 1995, the Japanese-style Suzaku-no-niwa Garden opened in Umekoji Park near Kyoto Station (and currently adjacent to Umekoji-Kyotonishi Station). It was created to commemorate the 1,200-year anniversary of the relocation of the capital of Japan in 794. "Suzaku" originally referred to the imaginary Vermilion Bird, a guardian of the South, but the garden was named after the main avenue in the old capital, Heian-kyo (original Kyoto).

【Kyoto】Umekoji Park, a hub for tourism.
With a 13-hectare site that includes a railway museum, an aquarium, a hotel, a Japanese garden, playground equipment for children, a tram square, flower beds, and a spacious lawn, this park is a collection of attractions. It was sparsely populated in the morning, but by late morning, it was bustling with tourists, school excursions, and local residents taking walks. It seems to have been created with the purpose of establishing a large-scale green hub in the green-scarce city center of Kyoto and serving as a wide-area evacuation site in case of disasters. It is a recommended spot for sightseeing in Kyoto.

Originally established in 1895 as a railway facility, it underwent a transformation in 1996 into the picturesque park it is today. , the cherry tree under the cherry tree
to say where the Kyoto people take a break? It will definitely not be a crowded place in Qingshui Temple. They all love to go to Meixiaolu Park for a wonderful afternoon~
is very open, 15 minutes on foot from Kyoto Station, and there are Kyoto aquariums nearby. The museum and the largest Kyoto Railway Museum in Japan.
I originally wanted to go to the Kyoto Aquarium. I didnt open the door too early, but I accidentally took the two full cherry blossom trees in Meixiaolu Park. I feel super lucky! Its a very lucky thing to be able to meet the full opening. Secondly, because I went early, I can appreciate it carefully, because from 1 to 9 o'clock, the Japanese began to hold blue cushions. They started to enjoy their flowers, and they still eat and drink under the cherry tree. At this time, they cant walk anymore (Figure 3, 4)
rapeseed is also very good, in the cherry blossoms. The golden color is set off. In fact, Meixiaolu Park is not just a flower viewing. The Japanese often come to the aquarium to learn about animal knowledge during the weekend. They go to the Railway Museum to experience the fun of the tram driver. There is also a creative set every month. City, and in the fall, the Suzaku Court on the west side of the park will be open for a short time, which is a big attraction for maple.
is very lively on weekends. You can also see the experience steam train from the Railway Museum. You can go to the stalls when you are hungry, and the real trains are transformed into Restaurant Oh! A good place to enjoy flowers, entertainment and leisure, especially in the spring, lying on the lawn and listening to the sounds of children playing, why not be a kind of happiness?

Where do you punch in a kimono to go to Kyoto? There are many people in most parts of the city, but not in the lively Meixiaolu Park in downtown Kyoto. If you want to save time, you need to take a taxi, about 2000 yen, less than 20 minutes. You can see the train at the entrance, and there are also trains selling ice cream and original ecology. It is worth mentioning that there is also the Japan Train Museum, the train fans hit the card, but do not open the door on Wednesday. If you go, remember to count the time
