A street for the ancient emperor 😍
#freehotelstay
Thousand years ago, Southern Song Dynasty Street was a special road exclusively accessible for the Emperor where the other people are prohibited to use it.
Nowadays, it is a cobblestoned commercial pedestrian street that located in the Zhongshan Middle Road in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou connected to West Lake area in the north (10-15 min by walking) and Qing Hefang Street (east-west) in the south (5 min by walking).
Other than some ancient houses, there are hotels, restaurants, stalls, and clothes shops as well as the museums here. If you are travelling to Hangzhou, highly recommend you to stay near to this street as the hotel price is much more reasonable comparing to those located in the West lake area and a lot of restaurants along the street!!!

3D Metal Assembly - Cool Assembly Workshop.
Walking on the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street, I was deeply attracted by a national trend cultural and creative store called Cool Assembly Workshop. Stepping into the store, it seems to have stepped into a metal world full of creativity and art.
As soon as I entered the door, I was deeply fascinated by the 3D metal assembly handmade toys of the twelve constellations series. Each constellation seems to be given life, unique shapes and gorgeous colors make people want to own. The delicacy of metal assembly is simply breathtaking, every detail is handled just right, making people love it.
When I saw the metal assembled phoenix crown, I was shocked by its exquisite craftsmanship. The colorful colors and brightness seemed to take me back to ancient times and witnessed the gorgeous scene when the bride or the queen in the palace wore it.
Of course, the Cool Assembly Workshop is not only these, but also the future machine angel 3D metal assembly model full of technology. National style, technology, gorgeous, various elements are perfectly integrated here, making people dazzled.
Here, I deeply feel the charm of metal assembly. It turns out that metal is not just a cold material, it can also be given so much creativity and vitality. Friends who like to assemble models by themselves, don't miss this treasure shop!

Meng Yanchen's Utopia, the butterfly bamboo shed is beautiful to my heart!
The village is on the West Lake, on the South Song Imperial Street, diagonally opposite the Ye Zhongde Hall, it is simply my dream shop! The first floor has nice fridge magnets, free color stamps, various cute animal dolls and small ornaments, even tea cans and handbags are the works of the national beauty teacher!
The second floor is simply a utopia for bamboo weaving enthusiasts. Various patterns are under the warm yellow light, with mottled light and shadow. There are a lot of butterfly installations on the stairs and window partitions. Meng Yanchen should not be dizzy when he comes to drink tea!
The signboard in the store is of course the Longjing tea-flavored ice cream, and most of the music is Xu Wei's work. In the tatami box, you can take off your shoes, make your own tea, and enjoy yourself. It's very comfortable!

The hidden gems of Hangzhou amidst the bustle of the city. A hundred times refined, the fragrant snail sinks in the water, the treasured scent freshly emerges from the south of the Yangtze.

Hangzhou!! Hefang Street!! Just checked out and it was a great stay
Sisters, this Japanese-style B&B is really
It’s so nice to live~
Couple bathtub tatami adjacent to Hefang Street
Near subway station
350 yuan for two people ~ But I can accept it because I really love the bathtub!!
The hotel location is very convenient
Next to the hotel
Within walking distance
Although it is located on the pedestrian street, it does not feel noisy at all.
There are also subway stations and bus stations nearby, which is really convenient for traveling.
Drive to mins
It can be reached in 4 minutes by subway.
In a word, it is convenient to go anywhere from the southeast to the northwest. The hotel has a strong sense of design. The hotel focuses on Japanese style.
Paired with tatami mats and warm lighting, it gives people a feeling of being at home. The space inside the suite is also very large.
You won't feel cramped at all if you are two people, but what I like most is the couple's bathtub.
Curling up in the bathtub with my boyfriend and watching TV shows
Sisters, it’s really cool to say it or not.
!PS: The hygiene of this hotel is very good, even those with mysophobia can rest assured. This seems to be one of the most hygienic B&Bs I have ever stayed in.
Hotel service staff are very friendly
The front desk is available almost 24 hours a day, no matter what your needs are.
Basically, things are solved as quickly as you can
But you must not embarrass me
Anyway, the room service staff I met during my stay were pretty good.
(X I really hate hotel service staff who are impatient!! If you encounter this, you will definitely not stay here next time, and you will give them a bad review!!)
Location: Hangzhou - Southern Song Dynasty Royal Street (Hefang Street) Price: 350 for two people, available in off-season
Let me share with you this little way to book a hotel cheaply~:

⬇️Today's Check-in: Southern Song Imperial Street⬇️
Southern Song Imperial Street in Hangzhou is a renowned representative of Southern Song culture. Some visitors may not feel anything special when they walk here, but if you delve into the historical origins of the Southern Song Imperial Street and visit the museum along the street, you may discover something new and gain fresh insights.
⭐Check-in Strategy⭐
▪️Today, we, a family of three, drove here for a visit. Parking has always been tight in the West Lake scenic area, and there are many pedestrian-only areas near Wushan. We parked our car in the mechanical garage at Xingong Bridge on Gao Yin Street. After parking, we could stroll north along Zhongshan Middle Road.
▫️Southern Song Imperial Street was a major thoroughfare during the Southern Song Dynasty. On some important holidays, the emperor would conduct sacrificial activities along this road. Meanwhile, the street was lined with numerous shops of various sizes, which were of great importance to the residents of the Southern Song Dynasty.
▪️Today's Southern Song Imperial Street is an ordinary yet extraordinary alley in Hangzhou. Walking along the street, observing the diverse stalls, the flowers and streams at your feet, you may feel as if you are traveling through time. It would be a wonderful experience to walk here in traditional Chinese attire.
⭐Attraction Recommendation⭐
▪️If it's your first time visiting Southern Song Imperial Street and you want to understand its history and present, you must visit the Southern Song Imperial Street Museum. To be honest, the entrance to the museum is quite hidden and easy to miss. Although the museum is not large, you can find all the knowledge about Southern Song Imperial Street here.
▫️On both sides of Southern Song Imperial Street, there are many uniform-looking roadside stalls. I find these stalls quite distinctive, most of them are related to the history and culture of Hangzhou, and many are the inheritance of craftsmanship. It's worth a look as you pass by.
▪️If you want to enjoy an afternoon tea on the beautiful Southern Song Imperial Street, no problem, Xiong Zhu Coffee☕ can meet your needs. This is a coffee shop with an outstanding environment. There are some bar seats by the window. You can order a cup of coffee, a cake, and spend an afternoon gazing out at Southern Song Imperial Street.
▫️There are many buildings with a sense of history on both sides of Southern Song Imperial Street. Some are the old sites of banks and shops, and some are hidden gems like the Phoenix Temple with its secret garden. If you have time, you can check in as you pass by.
▪️Finally, Southern Song Imperial Street is dotted with various hotels. If you are a tourist visiting Hangzhou, staying in this wonderful place where you can enter the scenic area as soon as you step out of the door is also a great choice.

A must-visit spot for a half-day cultural tour in Hangzhou, jot this down
‼️
This is not Kyoto, this is Hangzhou, where the prominent Bao is the Chinese-style Wangxian Pavilion,
a great place for a city walk, offering a blend of local life and a rich sense of history and culture.
Turn right into the area from the Drum Tower, where the rush hour crowd surges, I choose to walk up the mountain,
This spot has been photographed countless times, and I must say it's quite classic.
Walking among the stone steps, I just met a group of kids, and as they left, a cat 🐱🐱 came running.
It was quite interesting; seeing me taking photos 📷,
it actually ran 🏃🏃 over and rubbed against me, if not now, when is the time to pet a cat?
Following the steps up, I entered the Wu Gong Temple,
The ginkgoes were just right to look at, the light and shadows were mottled, and the twilight 🌆🌆 light was simply too perfect‼️
I met several groups of Hanfu culture enthusiasts, wondering why the old men didn't go home to eat but were still playing chess,
when I could already smell the deliciously braised prawns 🍤.
Walking further up, you can overlook the distant West Lake, the lakeside, and the Southern Song Imperial Street below, with its white walls and green tiles so full of character.

Hangzhou, Zhejiang Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty Drum Tower
Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty is a main street that dates back over 800 years to the Southern Song Dynasty capital of Lin'an. Starting from the northern gate of the imperial city and Ning Gate, passing through Chaotian Gate, Zhongshan Middle Road, Zhongshan North Road, and Guan Bridge (Guan Bridge) to the area around the intersection of Fengqi Road and Wulin Road, it was the central axis of Lin'an city in the Southern Song Dynasty, with a total length of about 4185 meters. It was the exclusive road used by the emperor during the 'Four Meng' to worship at the Jingling Palace.
The existing buildings of the Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty are mostly institutional relics from the early Republican period, many of which have been listed as key cultural relics protection units. The Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty is connected to Hefang Street, with the busiest intersection, where a large number of time-honored brands gather.

In Hangzhou, at the Wushan Square Lantern Festival, there will be a guide to the giant dragon parade
The lantern festival features a giant dragon, and a guide to the parade!
The Lantern Festival in the Year of the Dragon is upon us,
Although the weather these days is not perfect,
it does not affect our enthusiasm and the scenery of the lantern festival haha
I have checked it out, this year's Wushan Square Lantern Festival is worth it
The dragon-shaped lanterns, JuJuJu long, are beautifully crafted and make for great photos
In addition, the two smaller dragons are also uniquely designed, lifelike, and the lighting effects are amazing
The trees in the square are already well decorated, look up and you'll see swathes of red lanterns, as well as various poems and ribbons
The walking paths of the square are full of blessings, almost every wall is a photo spot!
After visiting the lantern festival, if you head east, you'll find the Hefang Street pedestrian street and the Southern Song Imperial Street,
These places are also full of festive atmosphere, every snapshot is beautiful, and there are countless delicious and fun things!

I found Hangzhou without tourists at the wet market
Day1
Arriving in Hangzhou at four o'clock in the afternoon, I hurriedly checked in and put down my luggage, then took the subway to Wushan Square Station and walked into the Imperial Street of the Southern Song Dynasty.
Not long after I walked into the pedestrian street, I saw a well-decorated archway. I walked in curiously and suddenly discovered that it was the side entrance of the Bronze Sculpture Museum as mentioned in the guide (probably I went in with the mentality of looking at an Internet celebrity store. Found a museum quality feel). Exhibits worth seeing
After wandering around a corner, I saw many people queuing up, whose names I had seen before, so I continued wandering around for half an hour. As the sky got dark, I was seated without waiting, which left me with a wonderful first impression of Hangzhou food.
Day2
I got up at seven o'clock, had the national breakfast, and then took the subway to Longxiangqiao Station and headed to West Lake. As soon as I walked to the West Lake, I saw a squirrel (the first time I was so close and not afraid of people), and I took one of my favorite animal photos so far. Behind me, there was a white cat staring at the squirrel under the tree. .
When we walked to the boating point, it suddenly started raining heavily. The mountains in the distance were hazy and the sound of raindrops made everything in front of us more like the misty rain in Jiangnan that I imagined.
Travel along the direction of Santan Reflecting the Moon - Leifeng Pagoda. After having a lunch next to Leifeng Pagoda (digression: if you want to spend a day in the depths of the West Lake, it is better to bring bread), then head towards Huagang Fish Viewing - Su Causeway - Baidi go ahead. Literary people all write that the willow breeze blows on the face, but I prefer the maple leaves on the roadside, which are green and beautiful. Just walking and walking like this, after walking through the white embankment in the "green poplar shade and white sand embankment", I finally ended the day's trip with 33,000 steps.
Day3
In the morning, we visited Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University. Because I was particularly impressed by a primary school text about tide watching in the Qiantang River, in order to realize my dream, I went to the Qiantang River to watch the tide. Although it wasn't the Mid-Autumn Festival, it was on the 15th day of the lunar calendar, so it should be a high tide, but after waiting for half an hour, I still didn't see anything. After asking for directions, we discovered that we were ten minutes late...
It was still early in the day, and I suddenly wanted to check out the local vegetable market to look for the mark of this city, so I randomly selected a vegetable market on the map. There is actually an "Internet celebrity shop" inside, and there are indeed some elderly locals lining up here. When I walked in, I saw that it was selling cypress wrapped in green onions (fried dough sticks filled with dough and fried with sauce? But it was surprisingly delicious) .
Finally, we went to Hangzhou CBD. The sunset hit the buildings, which was a beautiful sight beyond the guide.

Come to this street in Hangzhou in winter, and daydream alone
Another year has passed,
We all have some gains this year,
But many of the wishes at the beginning of the year have not been fulfilled.
No matter what, life has to continue.
At the end of the year and the beginning of the year,
If you want to be quiet alone,
Then come to this street: Southern Song Imperial Street.
There are no flowers and no traffic here,
All there is is a scenery that seems to have been seen in a dream.
Hope everything is well, tomorrow will be a new day, next year will be a new year!

Hangzhou Southern Song Imperial Street | Dream back to the Southern Song Dynasty, taste the charm of the Southern Song Dynasty
🍭The main street laid out in Lin'an, the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, was the most prosperous block at that time, and it was also the exclusive road for the Yellow Emperor to worship his ancestors. The buildings are mostly Western-style, simple and elegant. Both sides of the street are shops and tea houses, with small bridges and flowing water, very leisurely and comfortable.

Hangzhou retro old landmark! The new game of the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street, re-emergence of the millennium old time
history of the river so far, leaving a time and space picture of Hangzhou alone. The Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street is undoubtedly the most intense and colorful. Do not look at its full length less than 1 km, from the West Lake in the north, to the Drum Tower in the south, but still retains the antique appearance.
"Flowing around the ancient street, small bridge with old shop, Qingchiwei old house." Perhaps its best portrayal. You can see a hundred-year-old brand name, you can enter a young tide shop, you can also make a bend, just to see the bricks and tiles one thousand years ago.
Tips: The Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street is suitable for walking, slowly taking a slow look. At the end of the day is the Drum Tower and Hefang Street, you can buy some snacks and visit the century-old shop. Best time to go: After 6 pm, you can take a look at the night scene.

Wandering in the streets of Hangzhou, high-rise, elevated, modern city image hides the shadow of the water town. Only the market that has historically settled in the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street can find the most quaint rhythm of the city.
Hades.
I first knew the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street, or because of the running man in that period. When I first saw the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street, it was more pure than I thought. From the B line of Ding'an Road Station of Metro Line 1, I went straight to the intersection of Nansong Yujie Pedestrian Street. It was so convenient that the first time I came, I was dragging heavily. The box is foraging, because the bluestone road is very flat, so I don't feel tired. I have to admit that the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street is still inevitably commercialized, but it is more neat and clean than the Hefang Street that intersects with it. The old tree is full of leaves, and the summer is walking on the street without umbrella And there are a lot of stone benches for rest on both sides. Imagine that there is such a leisurely street in Shangcheng District in the center of Hangzhou City. It is also a good choice to take a walk.
Millennium Imperial Street, the golden years, the exhibition hall of the historical and cultural relics of Zhongshan Road. During the archaeological excavations, the road relics of different historical periods were discovered underground. These relics are stacked on the south and the Song Dynasty. The roads of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China, they witnessed the history of the development of the century-old ancient road. The reason why the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street is favored, but also because there are water on both sides of the street, it is like a creek-like stream of water, filled with various aquatic plants, and you can see colorful flowers in the summer, full of joy.

Good times in the world, ask the pen to ask for peace.
For me, Hangzhou City and Nanjing have a lot of similar places, there are also many places to be compared, I don't like Hangzhou, it is like this from the first time, but I am looking forward to Hangzhou, Hangzhou really There is a little bit of Jiangnan's tenderness.
This time in Hangzhou, it is no longer to go to the West Lake, nor to look at the ever-changing city. Instead, I chose to plunged into the streets of old Hangzhou to feel the fireworks in this street corner.
Today's Hangzhou is already a new first-tier city. The development here is very good. Many Wenchuang enterprises are located here. But for many old Hangzhou people, Hangzhou is always a place where they have the beauty of the rain and the south, and it is also a place full of smoke and smoke.

[Re-recall is Hangzhoure-tour plan] #Listen to the West Lake folk story tour Hangzhou # Team actual itinerary NO3: Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street. The Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street is connected with Hefang Street, and the north and south traverse the Zhongshan Road of Hangzhou City. As early as more than 800 years ago, it was the main axis of the central axis of Lin'an City in the Southern Song Dynasty. It has also been the important city commercial center of Hangzhou since then. And the central axis of the old town. According to the plan, Zhongshan Road will be built into the Architectural History Museum, the characteristic urban space of livable, Yishang and Yiyou, and the first street of quality life in China. The current Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street is only one section of the overall plan. In addition to a wide range of specialty products, it is also a gathering place for food, and it is also very suitable for street shooting~~

The sky above the sky is still sunny, while the city of Hangzhou under the clouds is a fine rain. Its not too late, its the time. The Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street, which was walking in the rain and snow, deliberately slowed down the pace of the stride in the past, imagining the pictures of the ancient emperors drunk and lying on the knees and waking up the power of the world. Drizzle? It is still as usual.
