[2024 Jeju Stay] Travel Guide for Shin Shin Hotel Jeju Airport (Updated Dec)
đ°đˇ Jeju city street walk
I did not use the car after I park it so that I can explore the Jeju city area within Shin Shin hotel. There are many shopping centers here and even Lotte Mart is here too. It is very easy to walk and all the streets here on lay out nicely on a grid line. There is not much alleys here compared to Seoul. It is also easy to run errands here with many of the big brands and services available. There are bicycle sharing here and also many schools. This place get so crowded once the students finish school. I managed to find a Starbucks and took a break before continuing shopping.

Cost-effective hotels near Jeju Airport
Shinshin Hotel Jeju Airport
I'll introduce you to Shinshin Hotel Jeju Airport, a hotel near Jeju Airport.
Shinshin Hotel has several branches in Jeju Island.
I visited Shinshin Hotel Jeju Airport, which is less than 3km away from Jeju Airport.
There are many convenient facilities around the hotel, such as restaurants and marts.
The lounge is on the 1st and 2nd floors. You can use computers and printers on the 1st floor, and there is a small library on the 2nd floor, so you can read books freely. There is also a microwave, so you can heat up food at any time.
The hotel was cleaner and bigger than I thought, so I stayed very comfortably.
I highly recommend Shinshin Hotel Jeju Airport as a cost-effective hotel near the airport.

Today's trip is Jeju City + West!
As I write moments, I really like the West ă ă
Before checking in at the hotel, I had a latte at TheRetreat Cafe, which I've always wanted to go to, and also looked around the tangerine fields!
I came back to Jeju City, checked in at ShinShin Hotel, and ate pork belly at Tojanggunđˇ That's one serving
You have to digest what you eat, right? I walked along the Rainbow Coast Road, but it got too cold, so I went homeđśâď¸

đ°đˇ Shin Shin Hotel superior room
I got a cheap rate of $50/night at Shin Shin hotel in Jeju city without breakfast. It is a no-frills hotel and include free parking for my car rental. The room is adequate and large bath towels are included. Some hotels/home stays will only provide small size bath towels so if you need the regular size then you might have to bring it yourself. The location is also great and you can walk to many places including Grand Hyatt Jeju which is about 10 minutes walk. There are also many public buses running here and you can visit many places within Jeju city. There are too many hotels in Jeju city to choose from.

đ°đˇ Shin Shin Hotel parking Â
I came over to Jeju city to stay overnight so that I can get to the airport faster. I will also need to return the car rental before I check in for my flight. I found a hotel with free parking and the is Shin Shin Hotel in Jeju city. I spent some time circling the hotel because I missed out the signage saying the car park is opposite the hotel. Yes the hotel car park is like 3 minutes walk away from the hotel. It is also a public carpark too and charge by the hour. After parking the car, the walk towards the hotel will involve crossing the road. So you can let your passenger alight first at the hotel drop off lobby. There are many convenience stores along the way.

đ°đˇ Parking in Jeju city
Let me give you some tips about parking in Jeju as a tourist. This is important because as non-Korean tourists we might have difficulty in paying carpark fees. So far it is ok to park at the side of the road but this is illegally in some places. There are many cars parked in this way so the narrow road become even narrower and I donât recommend to park this way. For most of the carparks, there are staff at the entrance collecting payment but they are only there for certain times. There will be an intercom button if you need help. You can pay by cash or using international credit cards. Some carpark may not be able to accept international credit card. So you might look into this Korean issued prepare credit card âWow Passâ or ask another Korean driver so pay for you then you pay him/her in cash.
