Shiding Qiandao Lake is located in Yong'anli, Shiding District, which belongs to the upper reaches of the Feicui Reservoir. Since the surrounding villages were moved away when the reservoir was built, some of the mountains in Yong'anli became water catchment areas, forming large and small lakes. It is like Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang, hence the name. Shiding Township was the main area for matchmaking in the early days, and it was also the main producing area of Taiwan's famous Oriental Beauty Tea. From the moment you enter Shiding, the tea fields are imprinted in front of you. The shape of the terraced fields is magnificent and boundless, forming a beautiful picture. The area of Qiandao Lake in Shiding has green mountains, clear water and lush trees. Tourists can walk on the Yongan Landscape Trail to the lakeside. On the hillside overlooking the entire lake area, it is refreshing.

Attractions & Highlights - DIY cong you bing class at Hsu's Noodles in Shiding was really hands-on from mixing the flour, kneading the dough, planting plus plucking the leek and lastly frying the cong you bing ourselves! It was a fun activity to do with your love ones together! After having the cong you bing with their chilli and sweet sauce, we continue our lunch tasting delectable flowing noodle experience that originated from Japan! Loved the springy cold noodles that tasted like cha soba 🍜 matched really well with the soba sauce and pickled vegetables! the flowing noodle ended with surprise chilled grapes 🍇 as dessert! Super crunchy & sweet too!
we had a great time there, just that you need to grab a cab for transportation to n fro if you don’t drive!
Shopping - We bought their handmade noodle 🍜 面线 home to try too!

Walking in
Walking into Shiji Qiandao Lake, it is like a moment when I came to the paradise. The bright sun shines through the clouds, and the layers of hills overlap each other. There are not only blue sky and white clouds, but also clear lakes, large tea fields and a leisurely state of mind.
Walking in such a green hill and green water, the whole person was instantly relaxed, and the troubles at this moment disappeared. Such a private attraction is that every Taipei person is not willing to recommend it to outsiders.
