✅【Shenyang Attractions】
🍂Shenyang Forbidden City: Also known as Shengjing Imperial Palace, it is one of the only two surviving royal palace complexes in China. It is only one-twelfth the size of the Forbidden City in Beijing, but as the imperial palace of the early Qing Dynasty, it has more Manchu characteristics.
🍂Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence Exhibition Hall: Also known as Dashuaifu, it was the official residence and private residence of Zhang Zuolin and his son Zhang Xueliang.
🍂Shenyang Xiaonan Catholic Church: Shenyang version of Hogwarts, also known as Shenyang Nanguan (Church), a typical Gothic building, especially photogenic, with a foreign sense of sight.
🍰Food recommendations:
Lao Siji (stretched noodles, boiled chicken rack, Lao Xuehua), Shengjing Renren, Northeast Barbecue (I feel that any of them are good)

If it wasn't for the Qing Dynasty's demise, would I be here?
Shenyang, formerly known as Shengjing and Fengtian
Known as the "Place of Origin of a Dynasty, Capital of Two Emperors"
The Qing Dynasty was founded here
The Marshal's Mansion witnessed the splendor of half of the Republic of China's history
·
If you're visiting Shenyang for the first time

The night view of Shenyang is enchanting
The night view of the Shenyang Imperial Palace amazed me this time||During the New Year's visit to Shenyang, the Shenyang Imperial Palace truly amazed me, the night view was too beautiful.
Shenyang, you are so careless, the Imperial Palace is open and you didn't promote it well, luckily I didn't miss it. I squeezed through the crowds to the very front and took my favorite photo of the early year.

Friendly stuff and basically done within 3 hours. Dont feel shy to ask for a photo with the visitors wearing a costume. Be nice and ask and they are more then willing to take part. And smile.

Shenyang Palace Museum, another mysterious place as well as Beijing
If you know the Beijing Palace Museum(the Forbidden City), you must should know the Shenyang Palace Museum . Located in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, China, the Shenyang Palace Museum is a cluster of Qing Dynasty palaces with a history of nearly 400 years. It is 24 kilometers away from Shenyang Airport, 6 kilometers away from Shenyang Railway Station and 5 kilometers away from Shenyang North Railway Station. No matter what kind of transportation you take, you can easily and quickly reach this mysterious place.
Why is the Shenyang Palace Museum also called the Palace Museum? It is not a branch of the Beijing Palace Museum , but a precious treasure left after the Qing Dynasty moved its capital to Beijing in 1644.
Here, you can also see the royal court, you can also see the red walls, each house reflects the Chinese architectural aesthetics.
Come on! See the beautiful and fantastic city.

Stunning Shenyang Imperial Palace MUST SEE
🤩 I was blown away by this gorgeous ancient palace built by the Qing dynasty. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen in China, I feel it’s the nicest and most authentically preserved palaces I’ve seen yet and is on par with the Forbidden City in Beijing.
📝Starting building in 1625 and occupies a space of 6 hectares with 114 buildings. Everywhere you look you are surrounded by dragons and the way the afternoon light plays in the shadows is stunning. Would highly recommend going just after lunch and catching the golden hour here as the ceramic yellows and greens shine. The wooden beams haven’t been replaced and feel close to their original form. We spent several hours wandering around, any of the extra rooms have been converted to small museums showcasing some artifacts from the era. There is the room where the last emperor of is an he Qing dynasty in China was born which is neat.
🎫 To get in, you purchase tickets through WeChat for 50rmb each. Surrounding the palace is a huge outer ring wall made of dark grey brick and there are many shops and delicious places to eat close by. It’s been hard hit by Covid as you can tell there used to be more visitors but it’s well worth the visit as it’s quiet!
❤️ Would go back in a heartbeat to see this stunning palace and could spend hours wandering it’s glorious buildings.

Also called Mukden palace. It is located in Shenyang, a cold and lovely city in North East China. It is located in Shenhe District. When. visiting you can see a lot of people happily touring around. A good place to relax and enjoy this beautiful ancient place. As I searched this place used to be the former palace of the late Jin dynasty and the early Qing dynasty. This palace was built in 1625, and three kings lived there from 1625 to 1644. Later the palace changed in to a museum. It is a cool. place to spend a sunny afternoon with your friends and have a chat with very friendly people around. You can find good hotels near to stay.

Shenyang Imperial Palace
Palace name in Chinese: 沈阳故宫. Many people call this place "Shenyang Gugong". It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Everything is interesting here: low buildings, street walls with dragons, flowers and trees in parks, even manholes in the palace! The territory is not as big as in Beijing, but there is also a red wall that protected this palace. Many buildings have survived from the 17th century. You can take a guide, usually girls in very beautiful ancient Chinese clothes. Inside the museum there are a large number of exhibits, these are things that belonged to the emperor.

It is located at 171 Shen Yang Lu, Shenhe District, Shenyang. Take subway 1 to Central Street and leave from Exit C, then walk southwest for 5 minutes to the palace.
The main structure was built in 1625 when Nurhachi was in power. The Mukden Palace was finished in 1636 by his son Abahai, covering an area of more than 60000 square meters.
It is divided into three sections, the Eastern section contains the very impressive Hall of Great Affairs. The middle section starts from the Da Qing Gate, with Chong Zhemg Dian, the Phoenix Tower and Qingning Palace arranged on a central axis from south to north. The Western section was constructed by order of Emperor Qianlong, it is Wen Su Pavilion.
It is the only existing royal palace in China outside of the Forbidden City in Beijing, that houses many ancient cultural relics and was listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 2004.

Punch the Shenyang Imperial Palace | The Shenyang Imperial Palace, built in 1625, is one of the two remaining palace complexes in China. It has been more than 400 years old and was the palace of Nurhachi and Emperor Taiji in the early Qing Dynasty. After moving to Beijing, the palace was called the Public Palace and Liudu Palace. Later it was called the Shenyang Imperial Palace. The Shenyang Palace Museum, built on the court site, is a famous ancient palace art museum, which contains a wealth of court art.

Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the two remaining palace complexes in China. It is also known as the Shengjing Palace. It was the palace of the early Qing Dynasty and is nearly 400 years old. Wugongfang Archway is the gateway to the Forbidden City in Shenyang. It was built in the second year of Chongde in the early Qing Dynasty and is the only iconic building in the Shenyang Imperial Palace with historical records.
Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the two remaining palace complexes in China. It is much smaller than the Forbidden City in Beijing, but it has its own characteristics in architecture. The Shenyang Imperial Palace was built by the first emperor of the Qing Dynasty, Nurhachi. After the Nurhachi crash, the second emperor, Emperor Taiji, continued to build successfully.
Da Zheng Dian is an octagonal heavy pavilion building, commonly known as the octagonal temple
wuqiuhuang.
Speaking of the Forbidden City, there is actually another one in addition to Beijing in China. This is the Shenyang Imperial Palace in Shenyang, also known as the Shengjing Palace. The history of the Forbidden City in Shenyang is much shorter than that of the Forbidden City in Beijing. It is only 400 years ago. In fact, it was only a short period of time in the early Qing Dynasty. When the Qing Dynasty moved into Beijing, the Shenyang Imperial Palace was only used as the “Public Palace” where Liudu Palace exists. The area of the Forbidden City in Shenyang is much smaller than that of the Forbidden City in Beijing. The craftsmanship of the ancient buildings is still remarkable, and it is well preserved. It was also included in the UNESCO World Heritage sites List in 2004.

The snow of Shengjing is soft and quiet.
Come back to Shenyang, time back, through the Qing Dynasty. Wearing a special gig costume, it has a strong ancient flavor. Stepping into the Forbidden City in Shenyang, the red walls, green tiles and white snow add color to Shengjing.
Compared with the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Forbidden City is full of rich Manchu ethnic styles, combined with the local characteristics of Northeast China, which is unmatched by the Forbidden City in Beijing.

Share the differences between Shenyang Palace Museum and the Forbidden City in Beijing
Shenyang Palace Museum was built in 1625 during the reign of Nurhaci, and was later expanded by Hong Taiji, becoming the imperial palace of the Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 67,000 square meters, about one-tenth of the 720,000 square meters of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
📷📷📷📷
Although Shenyang Palace Museum is small in scale, it has many unique attractions. There are many small details in the architecture that are different from the Forbidden City in Beijing, and I can't even name the decorations on the pillars 😂. The interior displays are more visible than those in the Forbidden City in Beijing, and the two dragon thrones make me feel like I'm just one step away from the throne 😂. There are also many exhibitions to see, and although it is small, it is well worth a visit.

Shenyang Imperial Palace - A must-see attraction in Shenyang.
As one of the only two remaining ancient palace complexes in China, the Shenyang Imperial Palace is a must-see attraction in Shenyang. The Shenyang Imperial Palace was the early palace of the Qing Dynasty, built in 1625 and completed in 1636. After reconstruction and expansion during the reigns of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong, it now has more than 100 buildings, including over 500 palaces, pavilions, towers, and halls, covering an area of more than 60,000 square meters.
The architecture of the Shenyang Imperial Palace is unique, combining Manchu, Mongolian, and Han cultures. Its palaces and halls are separate, reflecting the Manchu culture of separating the palace from politics. The layout is modeled after the Eight Banners military tents, with the characteristic of "high palaces and low halls." The residential area is on a high platform, overlooking the main hall area, which comes from the Manchu people's habit of living on high platforms. In terms of architectural style, it is mainly Han, but also incorporates Mongolian and Tibetan art. The palace walls are often decorated with reliefs and paintings, with patterns of dragons, phoenixes, kylins, auspicious clouds, and other auspicious patterns, which are particularly exquisite!

Shenyang! The Forbidden City! I stayed at a French-style designer homestay.
Artistic and fresh decor, quiet location. Full of French cream style. Just a few steps away from the subway and museum, it's a paradise for travel experts and history buffs~
1️⃣ The room is sparkling clean, with a curling iron and makeup remover, so you don't have to bring a bunch of toiletries with you 😍. There's also a giant screen projector at night, so you can enjoy your own private cinema 💕. Ride a bike 🚲 straight to the morning market, and start a beautiful day from here!
2️⃣ The location is also convenient, within walking distance to Xiaonan Church, bus, and subway, close to Shenyang Station and Shenyang North Station, and within walking distance to Zhongjie, Shenyang Imperial Palace, and Zhang Xueliang's Former Residence.
3️⃣ The overall style of the homestay is very artistic. The room has a great sense of design, like a French cottage in a movie. There's also a bathtub, clean and tidy, warm and cozy with a touch of simplicity and sophistication. You can take photos inside the house~

Shenyang, formerly known as Fengtian, is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty and is known as the "birthplace of one dynasty and capital of two emperors." In the fifth year of the Tianqi reign of the Ming Dynasty (1625), Nurhaci, the Taizu Emperor of the Qing Dynasty, moved the capital here. Huang Taiji built the Shengjing City and established the Qing Dynasty here. Shenyang became the Shengjing Imperial Palace, one of the two capitals of the Qing Dynasty, and began to become the central city of Northeast China.

- **East Road**: With the Dazheng Hall and the Ten Kings Pavilion as the core, this is where the emperor held grand ceremonies and the Eight Banners ministers worked, showing the majesty and authority of the royal family.
- **Middle Road**: Built by Emperor Taizong of the Qing Dynasty, it is the area where the emperor handled government affairs and the concubines lived, full of the atmosphere of court life.
- **West Road**: This is where the Qing emperors read books and watched operas during their "Eastern Tour" and stored the "Siku Quanshu," showing the cultural heritage and leisure life of the Qing royal family.
Iconic Buildings:
The magnificent Dazheng Hall, the solemn Ten Kings Pavilion, the ancient Daqing Gate, the splendid Chongzheng Hall, the flying eaves and corners of the Phoenix Tower, the simple and elegant Qingning Palace, the mysterious and ancient Solon Pole, the well-arranged East and West Palaces, the unique chimney buildings, and the bookish Wensu Pavilion together constitute the brilliant architectural treasures on this land.
