💖Overview of attractions
✔️Louis I Bridge: The Louis I Bridge is a steel arch bridge across the Douro River, connecting Portugal's second largest city Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Its name commemorates the then King Louis I. Its 172-meter span ranked first in the world at the time and is now one of Porto's landmark buildings.
✔️Aveiro Canal: Aveiro is known as the "Venice of Portugal", so you can't miss the beauty of the canal when you come to Aveiro. The banks of the winding canal are lined with colorful houses and Art Nouveau buildings. On the water, the Morrisiro boats with local characteristics are paddling leisurely. Time seems to slow down in the picturesque scenery.
✔️Tomar Christian Church: The Catholic church building combines Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance architectural styles. It is one of the most important historical and cultural buildings in Portugal. It was designated by UNESCO in 1983. Listed as a World Heritage Site by the World Cultural Organization.
✔️Jeronimos Monastery: The most prominent monument in Lisbon, it took 100 years to build. The monastery is a perfect combination of Gothic and Renaissance styles. It is called the "treasure" of Manueline architecture by later generations. It is the most gorgeous and majestic monastery in Portugal. The nuns of the convent invented the Portuguese egg tart.
✔️Cintra Pena Palace: Located on the top of a mountain with stunning scenery, it was formerly a monastery. It was converted into a colorful fairy tale castle during the Ferdinand II period, incorporating various elements of Romanticism, Renaissance, Manueline and Moorish styles. The essence of home. The park next to the palace is filled with exotic plants and is a treasure trove of great surprises.
☀️Driving in Portugal is like opening an old book full of stories, each page exudes a charming fragrance. The scenery along the way unfolds like a scroll, from the aroma of Porto's wine to the blue sea and sky of Benagil Beach, to the castles and churches hidden on the top of the mountains, every step is intoxicating. This is not only a visual feast, but also a spiritual baptism.

douro river
After walking, we arrived at the Douro River. The breeze was blowing slowly. There were luxury jeeps that took tourists to enjoy the river and enjoy the scenery of the lakes and mountains. If you are too lazy to walk on the ups and downs on your own, this is also a good way to sightsee. , there are distinctive boats sailing in the lake, and many tourists are sitting on the riverside enjoying the beautiful scenery and chatting. The warm orange roof on the shore, I really like the roof features of this color, and the number is beautiful, and the blue sky They echo each other and are really harmonious. Taking a leisurely walk by this romantic lake is really a paradise on earth!

Porto is one of my favorite trips that i have ever been especially in halloween . It has magical view and generous people, when you come here you will find so many attractions or experiences that you will enjoy ! When i went there i went to braga to see the famous historical building and enjoy their green wine, i also gained a lot of new knowledge about wine when you go there you will see many kinds of wine which is very interesting because its totally different from other parts of the world, in Portugal, they claimed to be the BEST WINE in the world but its not popular because of they have small production compare to other countries but their quality its speechless!!! And i went stomping grapes and i gad so much fun and when i went to Aveiro ( around 2 hour far from porto) it called “ Venice of Portugal” it was a lovely small town everybody knows each other and their famous sweets are ovos moles and yet we have that in Thailand because in the history Portuguese people came to Thailand and introduced this sweet in Thailand, Nowadays its call “ foi thong” which is Thai words and the taste is similar haha.

Porto, the first stop in Portugal, is a city famous for its wine and the second largest city in Portugal. The country's name Portugal and Port Wine are all derived from Porto Porto, showing the importance of Porto to Portugal.
The city is divided into a new city and the old city. The old city is not big. The main attractions can be reached by walking. It is very convenient, but the old city is all slopes, and the luggage is a little tired.
Checking the love of a place, maybe you want to live here. This is a city I have traveled for many years and I want to live here for a while. Feed the pigeons every day and look at the Louis I Bridge observation deck. Watching the dusk, drinking a drink along the Douro River is really laid back.
Compared with the priest's tower that is worth punching, you can look at the whole of Porto. There is also the Porto Cathedral, the Douro River, the Lello Bookstore and many more.
Tips:
Porto low prices, accommodation, food, shopping are good, there are many good Chinese food, Chinese stomach can't help.

One Day in Porto: Porto’s Charm in 24 Hours
Spending a day in Porto is like stepping into a charming, historic fairytale. Start your morning with a stroll along the Ribeira district, the view of the old bridges and the historic Porto Cathedral is breathtaking!
For lunch, we tried the classic Francesinha sandwich (a must try)! Then, head to a port wine cellar for a tasting. Porto is the birthplace of the famous port wine, and a cellar tour is a great way to learn about its history.
In the afternoon, wander through Livraria Lello, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, with its grand staircase and stained glass. After that, a quick visit to Palácio de Bolsa (the Stock Exchange Palace) reveals the city’s opulent side.
To end your day, cross the Dom Luís I Bridge for sunset views over Porto’s skyline and the river. If you have time, enjoy a riverfront walk or grab a drink at one of the cafés along the water (I highly recommend it since the atmosphere was fantastic!)
Tips:
- Getting around: porto is walkable, but if you need to get somewhere fast, trams are fun and efficient.
- Visit Livraria Lello early to avoid crowds!
Capture the essence of Porto in a day!

Visiting Porto was magical 🗺️
#traveldiaries
Just got back from an incredible trip to Porto, and I'm still buzzing from the experience! 🎉 The city is full of charm, with its colorful buildings, winding streets, and friendly locals. I started my visit with a walk along the Ribeira district by the Douro River – such a beautiful area with cafes and street performers. 😍 Crossing the Dom Luís I Bridge was a highlight, offering amazing views of the city and the river below.
I visited the Livraria Lello, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. The entrance fee was €5, which you can use as credit toward a book purchase – a great deal if you're a book lover! 📚 I also took a tour of one of the famous port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia for around €15, which included tastings. 🍷 If you’re into history and culture, the Clérigos Tower and the Porto Cathedral are must-sees, and both offer stunning views of the city. Porto has this laid-back vibe mixed with so much to see and do; I’m already dreaming of my next visit! #trip #Porto #Portugal #Travel #CityBreak #PortWine

The jewel-like scenery of Porto that I encountered during my long-awaited trip to Europe✨
📍Ribeira Square seen from the Dom Luis Bridge
The first day I arrived in Porto-
I just walked in the direction of the Douro River. Porto itself is not that big of a city, so if you just walk while looking at the riverside that can be seen from afar, you will soon reach the Douro River.
The view of Porto that I had seen in many photos caught my eye, and the sunlight breaking over the river was so warm and beautiful✨
