Rome’s most iconic landmarks The Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps, or Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti, is one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, embodying the elegance and charm of the Eternal City. This grand staircase, with its 135 steps, connects the Piazza di Spagna at the base to the Trinità dei Monti church at the top, offering stunning views, a rich history, and a lively atmosphere. The Spanish Steps are set in the heart of Rome’s historic center, surrounded by beautiful Baroque architecture, high-end boutiques, and charming cafes. The staircase itself is a masterpiece of design, with its sweeping curves, terraces, and landings creating a harmonious and fluid ascent. The steps are often adorned with seasonal flowers, adding to the picturesque setting, especially during the spring when they are covered in blooming azaleas. #100waysoftravel

I was send to Rome Italy along with my customers for a training on our system. We had the weekend off and thus we took the chance to explore Rome. One of the places we went was Piazza Di Spagna.
Piazza Di Spagna at the bottom of the Spanish Steps, is one of the most famous squares in Rome, Italy. It was a beautiful place. There were some nearby nice places to visit too. Firstly, it's near a shopping Alley where some of the top branded shops were. Secondly, the Spanish steps. We climbed up there where we have a spectacular of below from up there. When we were up take, we also saw some very tall trees. There were trees with yellow leaves too as it was the fall season.

The eloquent and luxurious Piazza di Spagna otherwise known as the Spanish Steps in English, are located in the luxury shopping area of Rome.
There is a great park nearby and many people frequent the Piazza di Spagna in order to have a walk and a cup of coffee. Sometimes you may see flowers on the steps in fresh bloom depending on the time of the year.
The Piazza di Spagna are also rather close to many consulates offices so the location is also of convenience.
From the top of the Piazza di Spagna, one can see so much of Rome and be able to really feel the beauty of the Eternal City.
Please take a visit to the Piazza di Spagna and go to the top, you surely won’t regret it.

There are many squares in Rome, Italy. Only the Plaza de Espaa is called the center of the Eternal City of Rome. This square is not too big, but it is famous for its 137-step Spanish Steps in the "Roman Holiday" movie. Become a business card in Rome. The longest and widest step in Europe is the masterpiece of Baroque master Benigni. The overall plane of the ladder is like a vase, forming a moving curve. At the beginning of the design, the purpose was to unify the steep slopes leading to the church with the squares and streets, and to provide a place for visitors to rest, but unfortunately it has now been banned. The baroque-style "boat-breaking fountain" below the steps and the Holy Trinity Church at the top of the steps are also worth a look. The entire Plaza of Spain is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Rome. Whenever you come, it is full of people.

Remember when Hepburn sat on the Spanish steps eating ice cream and talking to his reporter about his wish? The current Plaza de Espaa is the red dot card of the Roman network. The streets are full of restaurants and luxury shops. The small ice cream shop is also full of people. And in order to take a photo of the same type of ice cream
Sarah Shan.
The starting point of the Piazza di Spagna is the Trinità dei Monti Church, which in and of itself is not very impressive, but due to being featured in the film “Roman Holiday,” with Audrey Hepburn eating ice cream on the Spanish Steps, this site became a scenic spot that is known by all. Via dei Condotti, facing the Spanish Steps, is quite narrow, and has all of the luxury brands and flagship stores that you know! They are all here. Bulgari’s first shop is even nearby. Apart from this, the Fontana della Barcaccia which is at the foot of the Spanish Steps, has an unusual shape, and was designed by Pietro Bernini.
After walking until I was tired, there was no harm in stopping at a nearby Caffe Greco and ordering a cup of coffee. This oldest of cafes in Rome attracts a great number of visitors seeking to make a pilgrimage.

I heard about the Plaza de Espaa, or because of the Roman holiday movie. The Plaza of Spain is the former site of the Spanish Governor, located in Trinity Church, Rome, Italy.
There are buildings including the Governor's Mansion, the Garden, the Chocolate House, and the Spanish Arch. The most famous in the square is the broken boat fountain designed by Baroque architect Benigni. Many young people will come here to enjoy the summer and enjoy the cool.
Remember Hepburn in the Roman holiday, just sit here and eat ice cream. Opposite the square is Rome's famous luxury shopping street. LV, PRADA, BVLGARI, etc. all have stores here, which is much cheaper than domestic ones.

Spain Square
out of the old city, paved roads and cars, history has directly entered the modern.
After 10 minutes walk along the Guadalquivir River, you will arrive at Plaza de Espaa.
The facade of Masek around the square is quite beautiful, each piece represents a city, with different colors and rich patterns. These delightful patterns depict Spain in the wars of various regions, all of which are ancient. historical story.
There are a lot of carriages in front of the Plaza de Espaa and Seville, where everyone is sitting the same, the carriages circle around the old town and the square.

Have you checked in to the ten most romantic countries in the world?
The ten most romantic countries in the world, you must go and see.
❤①Italy
The beauty of Italy is ancient, passionate, fanatical, and more romantic.
It's you exploring Audrey Hepburn's footsteps in the Spanish Square in Roman Holiday, it's you gazing at your lover in the Florence Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, it's you pushing a gondola into the small streets and alleys in the water city of Venice. It's you stepping on Sicily to see the most romantic sunset.
❤②France
If Paris is a flowing feast, then France is permanent romance.
Follow the footsteps of purple water chestnut and cloud sail into Paris, into Provence, into the lavender fields, into the ancient castles full of stories, and also into the arms of your own lover.
❤③Indonesia Bali
Bali is known as the island of the gods, a place blessed by heaven, a land full of love, natural and pure beauty, unique Hindu culture. Pursue the freedom and romance of the soul to Bali.
❤④Turkey
Turkey, like a wild horse, ran from Asia and crashed into the European continent. When the hot air balloon in Cappadocia rises, I think: I wish you and I can wander in this world with the most humble luggage and the richest self.
❤⑤Slovenia
The only country with 'love' in its name, love is romantic because of companionship. And my love is hidden in every moment.
❤⑥Iceland
To love at the end of the world is the most beautiful praise for Iceland. I don't have a big wish, my only wish is to go to the end of the world with you. Some people say that the end of the world is loneliness, but it is this loneliness that needs to be loved. Loneliness itself is also a kind of romance.
❤⑦Greece
The sunset of Santorini is an indelible romance in life. Love you before sunset, pour all the blue and white in the world, searching for all the sadness and joy in the world. Freeze love in front of your eyes.
❤⑧Maldives
At the time you like, in the way you like, do what you like the most. This is the romantic life I want most in the Maldives.
❤⑨Australia
Everyone says, you must come to the Great Barrier Reef once in your life. Fortunately, there is love, fearless mountains and seas. I think the mountains and seas are a particularly romantic word, without boundaries, without constraints, both the destination and the home.
❤⑩China
The romance of China is hidden in the longing of 'The so-called Yi people, on the other side of the water' in the Book of Songs, also hidden in the persistence of 'I see all beings are grass and wood, only seeing you is the green mountain', and more hidden in the prayer of 'How can the world get the best of both worlds, not betray the Tathagata, not betray you'. The romance of the Chinese lies in the fact that every sentence does not mention I love you, but every sentence is I love you.

The same staircase as the movie "Roman Holiday"
From a young age, I learned about the Spanish Steps in Italy from "Roman Holiday", a romantic and dreamy place.
🔺🔺
Origin of the name?
In Italy, in Rome, the Spanish Steps are already a magical combination. It is said that there used to be the oldest embassy in the world next to it - the Spanish Embassy in Rome. The Spanish Steps were also named after it because they were next to the Spanish Embassy.
📷💰
Roaming? Shooting?
These two things are a must-do when you come to Plaza de España in Spain. There are many big brands and designer shops around, making it a paradise for fashion enthusiasts. Needless to say, taking photos is a must-do as well. The square is full of perfect movie scenes, with a bunch of handsome guys and beautiful girls sitting on the steps, sunbathing, dating.
☕️🍵
Dining?
There are some beautiful small cafes by the square, suitable for finding a complete time, morning or afternoon, to come here for a cup of coffee and soak up the sun. There are also Italian restaurants, traditional Western restaurants, tea rooms, and more.

Roman Shadow
Rome is the capital and largest city of the Italian Republic. It is also the political, economic, cultural, and transportation center of the country. With a history of more than 2500 years, it is a world-famous historical and cultural city, the birthplace of the ancient Roman Empire, and is known as the Eternal City due to its long history of construction.

The Plaza de Espaa is located under the hills of the Trinity Church in Rome. The most famous square is the ship-breaking fountain designed by the giant Bernini. In Rome, the baroque architecture of Benigni is really everywhere.
There is also a well-known point here that Hepburn took the ice cream step when he filmed "Roman Holiday". There are 137 steps in the ladder, which is often overcrowded. Although it has been limited to not allowing ice cream to be eaten on the steps, there are still many people sitting here and feeling relaxed and happy. There are many luxury shops on the opposite side of the
square. There are shops and restaurants on both sides of the street, and there is also a good place for casual shopping.

After reading "Roman Holiday",
understood the sentence: leaving you not because you don't love you.
A noble princess and a poor photo of Italy taking a small photo,
gave birth to an eternal moment in the history of the film.
Ice cream in Rome
Spain Square in the fifties,
right, I have to sit on the steps and eat ice cream.
In front of the "Small Boat Fountain" in front of the steps, there are always people playing guitar or someone taking pictures, a lively scene. This fountain is the work of Bernini's father. The idea comes from a break of the Tvere River, where a small boat is pushed by the water.
The street painter, if no one has to create, it is said that every master is lonely, so rather than being alone, it is better to focus. The cafs on Plaza Espaa are the favorite places for literati such as Keats, Byron, Shelley, etc.; especially the Cafe Greco on Condotti, the oldest caf in Rome. A large number of poets and artists gathered here in history, and many great works were born.
This is the only city in Italy that has a rickshaw, and even a three-wheeled carriage. It has the charm of passing through the night.

Known as Italian design, French-funded, named by the Spanish, now occupied by tourists from all over the world, the Spanish Steps were actually made up with the assistance of the French ambassador in 1725. The name is because of Spain. The embassy is named.
There are two squares in Spain, one is the Plaza de Espaa in the Holy Trinity Church in Rome, Italy; the other is the Plaza de Espaa in the old Spanish governor's site.
"The fountain of the small boat" in front of the square steps is the work of Bernini's father. The imaginary Plaza of Spain should be quiet, like Hepburn, walking here with ice cream, and a romantic encounter with the man. The reality is that there is a crowd of people here, and it is a lively scene. Together with tourists of different races and different skin colors from all over the world, this picture becomes a harmonious element of sitting, standing or bathing in the sunshine. Who said that Italy has a low season? There is no such thing as a peak season in this famous place.
Blue Tulip.
Rome's last came to my favorite Plaza of Spain, and of course my favorite "Roman Holiday" in the Spanish Plaza where my goddess Hepburn really liked. In order to keep up with the movie, I turned the photos black and white, but In my heart, it is full of wonderful colors. Love is great, selfless, and can overcome greed and awaken beauty.
Spain Square Located under the hill where the Trinity Church is located, it is known for its Spanish steps to the church. The most famous square is the broken boat fountain designed by Baroque architect Benigni. The fountain is filled with people who talk about the sky and see the scenery, enjoying the coolness of the underground. Opposite the square is Rome's famous luxury shopping street, where LV, PRADA, DIOR, GUCCI, BVLGARI, etc. all have stores. The cafs on the square are the favorite places for literati such as Keats, Byron, Shelley, etc.; especially the Cafe Greco on Condotti Street, the oldest caf in Rome, the masterpiece of the great writer Goethe The Princess of Fuss is done here.
The favorite street cafe, come to a cup of Italian espresso, you will definitely want to enjoy your trip. Espresso is twice the concentration of regular coffee and is usually placed in a high-pressure machine with freshly ground coffee beans to preserve the rich aroma of the coffee. So drinking a small cup is enough to wake up, if not enough, you can Double or Trebleshot.
Hero_V5.
Plaza de Espaa is the place where Princess Anne bought flowers, eats ice cream, and watched the crowd in the movie "Roman Holiday". It is also the most famous square in Rome. On the west side of the square is the Spanish Embassy, the origin of the place name here. The staircase of the Plaza of Spain is a masterpiece of Baroque master Benigni. Under the steps is the shipwreck fountain, which is the work of Bernini's father, Pietro Bernini. Now Hepburn stands on the steps of eating ice cream, I heard that because too many people imitate, tourists are not allowed to eat ice cream.
Approximately ten minutes walk from Plaza de Espaa to the Trevi Fountain, the first feeling was that it was shocked, like a dumpling, all people. The Trevi Fountain is the largest baroque fountain in the world. There is a huge sea god in the pool, driving the carriage, surrounded by the gods of Western mythology, each statue is different, lifelike. The wishing pool is backed by the Polly Palace, where the National Painting Association is located. This clever design makes the wishing pool look more magnificent. Although Rome has other fountains with a longer history, it is always the most famous in the wishing pool, and it is the most popular among tourists. I believe this is related to the following two legends. The first legend is that visitors only need to face the wishing pool, and the right hand takes the coin over the left shoulder and throws it into the pool. Then they can return to Rome. The second legend is to throw three coins with the same action. The first one is to find a lover. The two are really loving each other, the third is the success of honey, and they return to Rome after marriage.
