The night market in Phu Quoc is called Cho Dem night market which located at heart of Duong Dong Town at Phu Quoc Island. Just walk along the market, there are a lot of stall and restaurant sell variety of fresh seafood and local cuisine such as fried ice cream rolls, traditional vietnamese kuih, grilled skewers, Banh Trang Nuong etc. The most unique highlight in the night market and souvenir is peanut snack. They have up to 30 different flavors. #timetotravel I visited Phu Quoc Island during the rainy season and my experience told me it never rains at night. Considering there is nothing much to do in Phu Quoc Island, it is recommend to pay the Night Market a visit. We visited the Night Market twice during our stay in Phu Quoc and it is always buzzling. The market itself is not that big, but it has everything a market needs. We got a handbag that is made of coconut shells and a green bracelet. We also got loads of snacks and souvenirs from the local supermarket 🛒 As for food, I would highly recommend trying the green coconut pudding (for 10,000 dong = ~3 HKD) and the coconut icecream from Kim Ngân kem dừa nhà làm (for 50,000 dong = ~17 HKD). #境外遊 #nightmarket #vietnam #island

Night market bargains

The market is situated in the centre of the most populated area of the island, and offers a array of options to both locals and tourists alike. Vendors sell all sorts from wallets, pearls, clothes, fruit, and the most impressive, street food. There is a lot to choose from, mainly vietnamese local food. After sampling, the food was generally delicious and was extremely cheap. The market is well-lit and is nice and breezy, but it is really quite big and chaotic, one could easily get lost. If you want to have a special dinner with your loved one in Phu Quoc, you can visit here. It hasn’t been long since it opened so there aren’t many people yet. It is located very close to the Yangdong town night market. And it has three floors, the third floor is a rooftop. The third floor is facing the west coast, so you can see beautiful sunsets around 6 o'clock. I visited late at night and I couldn't see the sunset, but the design and interior there were very Instagramable and pretty, so I really enjoyed it. #phuquoc

Had dinner (Hu Tiu Muc) at a restaurant nearby the night market. The market is a long stretch selling seafood, sweet snack and souvenirs. I recommend trying the sweet floss with coconut snack (you can add the sauce you want). There are also a lot of dessert/drink from sea coconut if you are adventurous enough. For seafood, they have a wide variety of snails, sea urchins, scallops for you to pick. The shop owner will grill for you on the spot. Unfortunately, the seafood was not that fresh at the stall that we tried. Be careful of your belongings as it’s very crowded after 7pm when locals and tourists alike rush here.
