Ancient City 🇹🇷
#summerdestinations
Phaselis Ancient City, nestled near Tekirova, was a standout on my summer vacation in Turkey. Just 60 km from Antalya, it has a very affordable entrance fee of about €4. The site, set right by the sea, offers a stunning mix of ancient ruins and beautiful coastline.
The ruins, including a theater, aqueducts, and a port, are well-preserved and give a real sense of the city's past. I loved strolling through the ancient streets and relaxing by the picturesque bays. The combination of history and natural beauty is unbeatable.
Nearby, I visited the charming town of Kemer and enjoyed its vibrant marina. Phaselis is perfect for a day of exploring history and enjoying some seaside relaxation. 🏛️🌊

Phaselis Beautiful, Tranquil, Heaven on Earth
Easily accessible even by public transport operating between Antalya / Kemer and Finike / Kumluca.
From the bus stop / gate, you need to walk 10-15 minutes to reach the site itself.
There is an interesting historical story behind the ruins of Phaselis and lods of remains of various objects to be seen there, the Roman aquaduct being the most impressive one.
Warmly recommended if you are staying in Kemer/Tekirova/Kumluca area in Turkey and wish to escape from the "all inclusive routine" or you are simply enthusiastic about visiting historical sites and natural beauties.

The ancient city of Parselis.
Visiting the ancient city of Basilis in Turkey was a wonderful journey into history and culture. I enjoyed exploring the ruins of this ancient city that dates back to the Greek and Roman eras. I wandered through narrow streets, fascinating monuments, and archaeological buildings, and enjoyed learning about the city's history through illustrations and information. I also enjoyed walking along the beautiful sandy beaches surrounding the city, which added to the natural beauty to visit. Discovering the splendor of Turkey's ancient history and rich culture was an interesting and enjoyable experience.

Turkey: Phaselis ancient city in Kemer
Phaselis ancient city is a well known place in Antalya. It’s located 5 minutes drive from the touristic city of Kemer or 30 minutes drive from Antalya city centre.
This place is absolutely stunning, located between the mountains and the sea, in a picturesque landscape with pine forests and wonderful views of the Mediterranean.
Phaselis enchants the visitors with its well-preserved ruins and three ancient harbors surrounded by crystal clear waters.
The city was founded in the 7th century BC, and was once an important trading port and played an important role in the ancient world. Its harbors served as trading centers.
Phaselis offers fascinating insights into the life and history of ancient civilizations.
Here you can walk through the remains of theaters, agoras, baths, streets and Toman aqueducts.
The beautiful beaches surrounding the ancient harbors are perfect for relaxing and swimming, get crowded in the high season but it’s not the reason to miss the chance tho see this wonder.
The entrance is for money unless you have a museum card.#turkey #antalya #phaselis #Kemer
