We traveled to Mae Hong Son Province. Don't forget to visit Pang Ung. The atmosphere is amazing, just like being abroad. It's no exaggeration to call it the Switzerland of Thailand. The view is beautiful, peaceful, and serene. You can rent a boat to paddle and enjoy the nature in the reservoir, surrounded by nature and pine trees. There are swans swimming around. When you visit, take your time to appreciate and fully immerse yourself in the nature here. There's also a winter flower garden to admire. Romantic Camping Spots
Pang Ung is one of the most romantic destinations in Thailand. It's a place I've always dreamed of visiting, and it did not disappoint. The fatigue from driving through the 3,000 curves vanished when I saw the breathtaking scenery. Interestingly, I didn't realize it was Loy Krathong Day until it was almost upon us, so I thought I would miss out on the festivities. But guess what? You can float krathongs at Pang Ung! For those worried about accommodations, there are plenty of homestays available starting at 400 baht. If you prefer camping, you can rent a tent from the staff for 350-600 baht. And don't forget to enjoy a delicious barbecue in the cool weather. I find myself eating barbecue on every trip!
