[2024 London Restaurant] Travel Guide for Padella (Updated Nov)

My favourite Pasta place

I have visited Padella several times in the past. It is my fuss free spot for simple and reliable Italian food. My favorite pastas are the pici cacio e pepe, pappardelle beef ragu and the ravioli. The bruschetta too is good. With a nice juicy heirloom tomato and a crusty sourdough that was rubbed with a bulb of fresh garlic and drenched in extra virgin olive oil. While the prices are reasonable for London. I feel like the portions could have been better. I particularly enjoy sitting at the bar counter and watching the kitchen at work whilst I eat their fresh pastas with a glass of wine. The kitchen has a lovely flow and system with each chef so focused on their tasks! They don't take reservations.
