Shanghai. Wu Kang Road, a popular spot for trendsetters.
As an international metropolis, Shanghai has many popular check-in spots. Here are some of them:
1. Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower: As a landmark of Shanghai, the tower has a space capsule, revolving restaurant, Shanghai City History Development Exhibition Hall, and other attractions and facilities. It is one of the must-visit attractions for tourists.
2. 1192 Lane Old Shanghai Style Street: Here reproduces the style of old Shanghai. The mottled Shikumen, old record player, tram and other elements make people feel as if they have traveled back to old Shanghai.
3. Xintiandi: Based on Shanghai's unique Shikumen old building area, it has been transformed into a leisure pedestrian street integrating catering, commerce, entertainment, and culture. It is a place to experience the combination of old and new Shanghai.
4. Tianzifang: This is a gathering place for literary youths. There are many gourmet snack shops and literary shops. It is known as "Xintiandi No. 2".
5. Shanghai Museum of Glass: The first industry museum in Asia that comprehensively displays glass art. The outer wall is inlaid with more than 4,800 transparent glass bricks, which is particularly beautiful under the night light.
6. The Bund: One of the most representative attractions in Shanghai, there are 52 classical revival buildings with different styles. The Bund has recently upgraded its lights and has become an excellent place for check-in and photography.
7. Shanghai Disneyland: Disneyland is not only a paradise for children, but also a place for adults to find their childhood. The fireworks show at night is not to be missed.
8. Shanghai Ocean Aquarium: An internationally first-class modern large-scale ocean aquarium, exhibiting rare fish from all over the world, and one of the longest underwater tunnels in the world.
9. Wu Kang Road: Known as the "celebrity road that condenses Shanghai's modern history for nearly a hundred years", there are many excellent historical buildings, which is a good place to go shopping in late autumn.
10. 1933 Old Millfun: Originally a slaughterhouse of the Ministry of Industry, it has now been transformed into a well-known art park in Shanghai, gathering artist galleries, concert halls, restaurants, shops, etc.
These places not only have unique historical and cultural values, but also represent the modern Shanghai fashion trend, which is very suitable for taking pictures and check-in. 📸👣🚶🏻♂️➡️🍹👍

Shanghai Flavors in Full Bloom.
Visited the Peace Hotel!! Took photos at the Gucci store on Nanjing Pedestrian Street!! Captured both day and night views at Yu Garden!! Snapped day and night shots at the Bund!! Also visited the M&M's flagship store!! Went to Lujiazui too!!
From the Bund, you can walk straight to Nanjing Pedestrian Street and then bike to Yu Garden, experiencing the retro charm of Shanghai along the way 🤤. Make sure to stop by the M&M's flagship store to cool off with some air conditioning 🥵. The day and night views of Shanghai offer different vibes, so set aside a full day for it!! Walking around Lujiazui to watch the sunset is also beautiful 🌇, and you can take a boat from the pier back to the Bund!!
But remember to plan your time well because it's super crowded. I went at 7 pm just as it was getting dark and only managed to take a few photos before leaving because it got so crowded I was afraid I wouldn't be able to move. So, make sure to time your visit well!! It's so crowded that even the cars and subways are packed!!
Feeling the pulse of Shanghai's vibrant atmosphere is a traveler's dream come true! Here's a sneak peek into some of the city's most iconic attractions that left an indelible mark on my journey.
🌉 The Bund
Zhongshan East Road, Huangpu District
The Bund is the beating heart of Shanghai's nightlife, a spectacle of lights and urban grandeur. Stroll along the promenade for a glittering view of the Huangpu River and the city's skyline. It's a photographer's paradise, especially at night when the high-rises sparkle like jewels. Avoid the crowds by skipping holidays, and consider a ferry ride for just 2 yuan to see the views from across the water. 🚢✨
🏰 Shanghai Disney Resort
Chuansha New Town, Pudong New Area
Magic awaits at Shanghai Disney Resort, a wonderland for kids and kids-at-heart! Immersive attractions, stunning fireworks, and beloved characters ensure a joyous outing. Despite the queues, the joy on your little ones' faces makes it all worthwhile. Pro tip: embrace the 'local' approach and enjoy the park at a leisurely pace for a truly enchanting experience. 🎢🎆
📺 Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower
No. 1 Century Avenue, Lujiazui, Pudong New Area
The Oriental Pearl Tower is a must-visit for its iconic structure and breathtaking views. Although busy, the orderly management and stunning panoramas of Shanghai's skyline are worth the wait. Enjoy a meal with a view at the revolving restaurant or visit the various observatories for a different perspective on the city. 🌐🌇
🔭 Top of Shanghai Observatory
No. 501, Yincheng Middle Road, Pudong New Area
Ascend to the Top of Shanghai Observatory for an awe-inspiring experience. Perched on the 118th floor, the observatory offers a bird's-eye view of the sprawling cityscape. Time your visit to catch the sunset and stay for the mesmerizing night lights. The elevator ride alone is an adventure, and the light show is a dazzling spectacle. 🌅🌃
Shanghai's attractions are a testament to its status as a world-class metropolis, each offering a unique slice of the city's soul. From the historic Bund to the futuristic skyline, this city never ceases to amaze!

It also features a revolving restaurant and a glass walkway, which are famous must-visit spots.
The Bund—A historical and cultural district in China, a true reflection of Shanghai's old foreign concessions, and the starting point of modern Shanghai. The Bund is home to 52 classical revival buildings with diverse styles, known as the Bund's World Architecture Exhibition Group. It is one of China's important modern historical sites and representative buildings, and a landmark of Shanghai. In November 1996, the State Council of the People's Republic of China listed it as part of the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Two completely different experiences at the Oriental Pearl Tower!
1️⃣ The first time I visited the Oriental Pearl Tower was in July 2018, when I bought a ticket for the two spheres.
Ticket Price🎫: 199
Although it's been five years, the memory is still vivid. I queued for three hours and enjoyed the view for 10 minutes. Personally, I didn't find it very interesting. The view from the top was nice, but the observation deck at 263 meters was so crowded that there was no space to take photos at leisure📷, and the experience wasn't great. (The transparent glass floor was also quite worn and scratched)
2⃣️ The second time I went to the Oriental Pearl Tower was in August this year, and I bought a ticket for the revolving restaurant, which includes tower admission and a meal.
Ticket Price🎫: Adult 418
The revolving restaurant has a special elevator passage, with about a half-hour wait. The restaurant offers a 360-degree view, which is perfect for taking photos and checking in📷, without the need to squeeze through crowds. There's also a wide variety of dishes, and personally, I think the price is very reasonable compared to the 199 ticket, as it's only a couple hundred more. After dining, you can take a special staircase to the next level's glass observation deck, which is the same 263-meter transparent observation layer, and it's really crowded❗️❗️❗️ Personally, I think the view from the revolving restaurant is more than enough, and after the meal, you can take a special elevator down (at the time, I didn't know this and went to the 263-meter observation deck, which meant queuing for the regular elevator).

The Oriental Pearl TV Tower
The tower's design is unique and futuristic, featuring distinctive spheres linked by columns, giving it an elegant and modern appearance. Its height of 468 meters makes it one of the tallest towers in Asia.
The tower is a major tourist destination in Shanghai, offering panoramic views of the city skyline and the Huangpu River from its observation decks. Visitors can experience the city from different heights and perspectives.

POV: you’re inside Shanghai’s iconic building
Oh, there’s really nothing like a sunny day to hit up the Oriental Pearl and check out Shanghai from up high, like 263 meters up high! For just 160 RMB, you can explore 3 different levels of the tower. First up is the spot at 259 meters, where the view is just awesome. Plus, there are some cool souvenir shops to poke around in. After you’ve checked out that floor, you can head up to the 263-meter mark, where there’s this glass floor observation deck. It’s kind of the best place to hang out and take it all in, but you might have to wait a bit to get a spot all to yourself. Totally worth it for that killer photo, though.
When you’re heading back down, don’t miss the floor in the biggest ball of the tower, where everything’s got this pink glass vibe, and you can even play some arcade games.
Seriously, if it’s your first time in Shanghai, you’ve gotta make a stop at the Oriental Pearl. It’s a fantastic way to see the city from above and just soak in all those skyscraper views. Plus, it’s a fun little adventure with some unique spots to check out.

Just came back from Shanghai and learned some hard lessons for the next visit
Don't go to visit the Huangpu River Sightseeing Tunnel. It's not worth spending dozens of yuan to see a tunnel with lights.
You can take a ferry for 2 yuan to tour the Huangpu River.
Don't buy souvenirs or eat in Tianzifang, it's all a trap.
You don't need to go to the Oriental Pearl Tower to overlook the entire Huangpu River. You can go to the Cloud Bookstore, which is 52 stories high.
The snacks in the City God Temple are not recommended, it's completely a commercial street.
Wukang Building must be visited during the day to appreciate its beauty.
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is very convenient for shopping. The largest NIKE in Asia and M&M's are here, but don't eat here.
You must take the ferry, with 2 yuan you can enjoy the night view of Shanghai.

Oriental Pearl Tower
#Winter travel The Oriental Pearl Tower or Pearl Tower is another symbol of Shanghai, China. It is a very tall building, about 350 meters high. This building is very beautiful. You can see it from the Bund or from the opposite side. I recommend going in the evening until late at night because the building will turn on the lights very beautifully. In addition, the surrounding buildings will turn on the lights as well. It makes this Pearl Tower even more beautiful. Anyone who goes to Shanghai must not miss it.

In Shanghai, a must-visit night view check-in spot, YYDS okay (˵¯͒¯͒˵)
After a meal with an old friend who hasn't seen for many years, we went to the FLAIR rooftop restaurant and bar! The two of us decided to have a drink, I have to say, this friend, you know how to enjoy life! The friend booked a window seat in advance, the view of the Oriental Pearl from this angle is absolutely amazing! PS: The outdoor terrace is also open, and there is an amazing photo spot on the right side of the terrace! If you want to capture the beautiful lights, be sure to do so before 10 o'clock, because the outdoor lights go out at 10 o'clock.

A week away In Shanghai
#shanghaitrip
I wanted to come back to Shanghai, because last time I was here it was just raining for the whole week.
This time I got sun the whole week.
We filled our week with walking around some parks and in the old French streets , it’s so beautiful. The street is just filled with old trees that gives you shade. Perfect for walking!
In the evenings did we visit rooftops and sipped on cocktails. - My favorite was Sir Ellis Terrace!
One day did we spend the evening watching the sunset while waiting for the Orienral Pearl Tv Tower to turn on. Such an icon for Shanghai- it’s a must visit while visiting Shanghai!
For our last day in Shanghai was it time to feel like a kid again, when visiting the Magical Disney Land. I totally think you can’t be to Shanghai unless you be here too!
My favorite thing with this city is just how beautiful it’s in the evening when all the city lighten comes on. Make sure to pack some comfy shoes for Thai trip!!

Exploring the appearance of Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower: a shining pearl embedded in the city skyline
Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower, as a representative skyscraper, has a shocking appearance. The tower body is composed of three cones of different sizes, looking like a bright pearl embedded in the city skyline. At night, the tower's LED lights shine brightly, making it a bright star in Shanghai's night sky.
Reason for recommendation: The Oriental Pearl Tower’s unique appearance and bright lighting effects at night make it a major landmark in Shanghai. If you want to feel the urban style of Shanghai, you must not miss this shining pearl embedded in the city skyline.

Landmark of Shanghai -หอไข่มุกและshanghai Towel
Today, let's cross over to the other side to see another symbol of Shanghai that everyone will know, "The Oriental Pearl Towel".
The Oriental Pearl Towel is 468 meters high. It has three columns with three round pearls arranged vertically. It is also the largest radio station in Shanghai.
Another building nearby is the Shanghai Towel, the second tallest building in the world, at 632 meters high, and it also has the second fastest elevator in the world. The entrance fee to the building is 180 yuan, but it is very beautiful.

This 468 meters (1,536 feet) high tower is the world's sixth and China's second tallest TV and radio tower.
Choose a clear day to visit the tower. I went up on a cloudy day so couldnt see much.
You can walk completely around and see Shanghai 360 degrees.
On a clear day, you get a stunning view of Shanghai.

Shanghai travel was my favorite and I want to go there again if I have the chance!!
First of all, Disneyland is the best! If you visit Disneyland, I definitely recommend staying at the Toy Story Hotel👍🏻
At night, you can see the night view of the Oriental Pearl Tower, and during the day, there is a Starbucks Reserve store near the city center that I heard is the largest in the world! You can watch them roasting coffee beans!!
I recommend traveling to Shanghai, which is clean and not too far away!

The Oriental Pearl Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks in Shanghai and a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to this vibrant city. Standing at 468 meters tall, it is one of the tallest towers in Asia and offers breathtaking views of the cityscape.
Visitors can take a high-speed elevator to the tower's observation deck, located at a height of 263 meters, which provides a stunning panoramic view of the city. The observation deck is equipped with state-of-the-art telescopes that allow visitors to zoom in and observe the city's landmarks in detail.
In addition to the observation deck, the Pearl Tower also has a revolving restaurant located at a height of 267 meters, which offers a unique dining experience with a 360-degree view of the city. The restaurant serves a variety of Chinese and international cuisine, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning views.
For those seeking a thrill, the Pearl Tower also has a glass-bottomed skywalk located at a height of 259 meters, which offers a heart-stopping experience of walking on

Oriental Pearl TV Tower
This TV tower is located on the Pudong side of the Bund. You might be tempted to call it the "Shanghai Tower," but that is the name of a high-rise building nearby, and this tower is often called the "Oriental Pearl."
Part of the upper observation floor has a transparent acrylic floor, which is thrilling. Tokyo Tower and other buildings in Japan have some of these, but the area of the transparent floor here is incomparably larger.
When descending from the top, you follow the route and change elevators, and you are forced to look at the exhibits as you go along, so it takes quite a bit of time.
If you plan to include this in your sightseeing route, it's a good idea to schedule it with plenty of time. #ShanghaiTourism #TheBund #RecommendedPhotoSpotsAtTheBund
