There is a large aqueduct that passes through the temple grounds. It is part of a canal system constructed to bring water from Lake Biwa to Kyoto. Here there are many archways where, if you find the right timing with no one else around, you can take a really cool photo! 📸 You can even walk up the steps to the top of the aqueduct and walk along it for a few hundred metres.
