Relaxing Okinawa Trip
Okinawa is unforgettable with its beautiful scenery, rich culture, and delicious food.
First, we visited the Naminoue Shrine. This shrine, located in Naha city, is nestled in a tranquil environment by the mountains and the water. Perched atop a cliff, it overlooks the azure sea, offering a magnificent view. The shrine's unique architectural style, with its red main hall set against green trees and blue sky, is strikingly vibrant. After paying our respects, we took a leisurely stroll along the coast, enjoying the gentle sea breeze.
Next, we headed to Shuri Castle. Symbolic of the Ryukyu Kingdom, it bears witness to Okinawa's long history. Despite damage from a fire, the restored castle remains imposing and spectacular. Walking on the ancient walls, we not only felt the weight of history but also enjoyed the beautiful view of Naha city. The exhibitions inside the castle provided a detailed account of the history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom, which was very enlightening.
After soaking in the culture, we went to American Village. With its exotic atmosphere, it felt as if we were in a small American town. There are a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment facilities. We browsed through many interesting stores, picking up souvenirs, and the night view was particularly enchanting.
Cuisine is an indispensable part of the Okinawa trip. We savored delicious steak at the famous 88 Steak restaurant. Known for its tender, juicy meat and unique sauce, the restaurant's lively atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home.
Additionally, we visited the A&W burger joint. Unique to Okinawa, A&W's signature burgers and root beer are mouthwatering. We ordered the classic A&W burger with a refreshing root beer, simple yet incredibly tasty, making it an unforgettable meal of the trip.
In summary, our trip to Okinawa allowed us to experience its rich history and culture, enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, and taste authentic cuisine. Every moment was filled with surprises and joy. Okinawa is truly a travel destination that makes you want to return again and again.

Naminoue Shrine and Naminoue Beach: A Tranquil and Dynamic Experience in Okinawa.
On a sunny morning, I visited the famous Naminoue Shrine in Okinawa. This shrine is situated on a small hill overlooking the azure sea. Built in the 14th century, Naminoue Shrine features a unique Ryukyu architectural style, with its bright red main hall contrasting beautifully with the green trees, creating a captivating scene.
As I walked into the shrine, I immediately felt a sense of tranquility and peace. The shrine's garden is meticulously arranged, with every detail inviting admiration. After paying my respects, I stood at a high point in the shrine, gazing out at Naminoue Beach. The clear waters and golden sands sparkled in the sunlight, as if beckoning me.
Leaving Naminoue Shrine, I walked to the nearby Naminoue Beach. This is one of Okinawa's famous urban beaches, boasting beautiful white sands and clear waters. The beach was bustling with tourists; some were sunbathing, others swimming in the sea, and families playing on the sand.
I chose a comfortable spot, laid down my towel, and enjoyed the sea breeze. Soon after, I eagerly jumped into the sea, relishing the cool water. Snorkeling is a highlight here, with a vibrant underwater world where various tropical fish dart among the coral reefs, offering a feast for the eyes.
A day trip to Naminoue Shrine and Naminoue Beach allowed me to experience the dual charm of Okinawa—both the serenity and sanctity of a religious site and the vitality and dynamism of an urban beach. This journey not only cleansed my soul but also let me appreciate the beauty of nature.

PEICHAN
Naminoue Shrine (波上宮), Okinawa’s “ichinomiya” (一宮), the highest-ranking shrine in the prefecture is known simply to the locals as ‘Nanminsan’ has a long history dating back to at least the 1300s and today is the most widely-visited place of worship in all of Okinawa.
The shrine is not only one of the most important religious sites in the capital city, but is also a place of worship that is uniquely ‘Okinawan.’ Even though it maintains many of Japan’s traditional design elements, it is unmistakably something that you’re only going to see in Okinawa which makes it stand out from the 80,000 other shrines across the country.
Literally, the “Above the Waves Shrine”, Naminoue Shrine, pronounced [Na-mi-new-oh-eh], sits high on its perch above the Naha Harbour.
The internet is full of claims that the history of the shrine dates back almost a thousand years, but that is actually a bit misleading. There isn’t actually any recorded information or evidence that gives an exact date as to when a shrine was first constructed in this location.

When you see the brown big bird house on the side of the road, Boshang Palace will arrive. If all the members of the family have been to Kyoto, such a densely populated city, then Nagami Palace does not have to come. Because it is a small shrine that can look to the end at a glance, the only feature is that it is located at the seaside, so it is called Boshang Palace.
With the baby to come to the Japanese shrine, their favorite is definitely a hand-water house, no one. Therefore, if you are afraid that your child is bored with such religious attractions, it is not wrong to bring them to the hand-draw! Especially the hot place like Okinawa. In order to let Suyi come to the shrine more sense of participation, even the signing of this kind of thing let her personally go into battle. Anyway, its basically Ji, why are you happy? Suyi never asked for a sign, and she was serious about her face. It is estimated that the shrine is really a new and fun place.
In the Boshang Palace, we asked for the last royal seal of our year, the Boshang Palace is relatively small, asking God to sign, buy the defensive, Yu Zhuyin are in the same window. There is no special mark on Yu Zhuyin. Everyone can directly hand the royal seal to the witch.
In fact, although Boshang Palace looks inconspicuous, it is an ancient shrine with a history of more than 700 years, and it is the general guard of Okinawa. Ryukyu The dynasty era is also the highest in the eight major shrines that the palace pays special attention to, becoming the special shrine of the annual New Year kings. Now it also has the number of worshippers in Okinawa, making it a popular tourist attraction in Okinawa. The shrine is a kind of power that invisibly infects people's hearts. Even the ignorant children learn the big man's high-five, slap, and make a wish with both hands.
There is a step from the entrance to Boshang Palace that leads directly to Boshang Palace Beach. Yes, Boshang Palace is such a quiet place to move. After visiting the shrine, go to the beach and play with water. This is really Okinawa. ! Sitting on the beach, the sun boy playing the guitar with the sea breeze, the literary atmosphere is full. This is an urban beach with no traditional coastline. No matter how you look at it, you can't avoid the cross-sea bridge behind it. Although it is not very good, the beach is smooth and the waves are clean and clear. The surrounding area is surrounded by warning lines and it is very safe to play.
Shirley Zhu.
Boshang Palace is built on the cliffs of coral reefs, overlooking the scenery of the sea. As the name suggests, the name of the palace is that when the waves rise, the distance seems to be above the waves. It is a very important shrine in Ryukyu. Since the time of the Ryukyu Kingdom, the incense has flourished and continues to this day. Even now, the people of Okinawa are on a major festival day, or encounter an important turning point in life, such as getting married and having children. When the exam is sick, they will come here to pray for a safe and amulet.
Transportation: Boshang Palace is the most interesting cultural attraction in Naha City except for Shuri Castle. It is located 1km northwest of Okinawa City Hall
Tickets: None
Note: Wave In the palace, you can ask for a healthy and healthy character, as well as academic symbols, etc. Prices range from 300 yen to 1000 yen, and you can also draw lots. The price is 100 yen. If you get a bad sign, you can tie it to On the ropes of the shrine, seek shelter.
haruxu.
The right side of the Okinawa wave on the right side of the palace can go directly to a beach, and the hills not far away seem to be very interesting, I plan to go.
There is a rest area on the top of the mountain where you can see the sea and the city.
After a circle around the mountain, I couldn't get hot. I went to the vending machine to buy a bottle and water, and went down to the beach.
A cat is arrogantly licking his tongue~ Sitting on the beach by the sea and taking a sip of lime water, it is really cool!
After all, I am holding the camera tripod every day, I need to take a break, see the sea water slowly coming up and back down.
This beach is on the east side of the cliff where the Boshang Palace is located. Because the sun is slanting in the west and the cliff is in the shadow, I suddenly think of the west side of the cliff, so the cliff is in the sun! Well, I just want to do it! I climbed up the mountain again, and the road in front of the palace had a beautiful shadow.
The facts prove that I am correct. As long as I walked down the path under the palace, I can go straight to the beach on the other side of the cliff. There are reefs here, so I can't swim, but the reef is exactly what I like!
weiyishan.
Okinawa wave on the palace, this is a palace built on the waves, listening to the name is super cool.
Compared with the shrine in Tokyo, Boshang Palace is too small, but the facilities are very complete, the feng shui is also better, seeing many locals drive to pray, buy a bottle of drink and drive away. Of course, the shrine of Okinawa must have a small lion with a convex eye. The right side of the upper palace of Boshang Palace can directly lead to a bathing beach. The hills not far away seem to be very interesting. I plan to go. There is a seating area on the top of the mountain where you can see the sea and the city.
