M50 Creative Park in early winter.
As the temperature gradually drops, winter quietly arrives in Shanghai. In this cold season, a special art journey begins unexpectedly - head to M50 Creative Park to explore this creative park full of modern art and find a different kind of warmth in winter.
M50 Creative Park is located at No. 50 Moganshan Road, Putuo District, Shanghai, and was formerly the Xinhe Spinning Mill built in 1933. After nearly a century of trials and tribulations, it has transformed from a traditional textile factory into a comprehensive park integrating art exhibition, cultural exchange, and creative office.
In winter, M50 may lack the vibrant flowers of spring and summer, but it gains a sense of tranquility and calmness, like a warm glass of red wine that brings comfort to the heart.
In winter, M50 Creative Park may appear calm on the outside, but inside it is filled with endless artistic passion. It gathers artists and designers from all over the world, who set up studios here for creation and exchange. They tell stories of inheritance and innovation in their own ways, encouraging us to constantly explore and discover beauty in life.

📢 Shanghai has its own "Cuban Babylon" !!
📍 After having enough of the popular streets in Shanghai, why not take a stroll at Tian'an Qianshu located at No. 600 Moganshan Road, Putuo District. Tian'an Qianshu is known as the Magic City's Cuban Babylon, a work of British architect "Thomas Heatherwick". 🌳🌳🌳 The most distinctive feature of the architecture is the combination of over 20,000 assorted green plants and open terraces. If you visit the food stores on the 6th floor of the mall, be sure to choose a spot on the terrace. Next to the building, there are 4 historical buildings preserved, 📸 which are quite photogenic~~~
➡️ Walk a few hundred meters forward and you will find the M50 Creative Park, which was originally the Shanghai Chunming Worsted Mill. Now it can be described as a complete art space. The park is built around art and life, ✅ with artist shops, free exhibitions, galleries, cafes, etc., blending industrial heritage with contemporary art charm. Pick a sunny afternoon to wander around the park and walk along the Suzhou River, it's very nice
