This Japanese Restaurant is called Tamago-en. It has a few branches in Hong Kong, but I went to the branch in Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay. We went there as soon as the restaurant was opened so it was less crowded. The food we ordered are Beef Stew Omelette Rice, Black Truffle Wild Mushroom pasta with Slow Cooked Eggs, Okinawa Brown Sugar Soufflé Pancake. The omelette rice was almost cold when it come out, but the beef is nicely tender. I expected the rice inside is fried rice, but turned out it is only plain rice. The pasta taste nice and worth to try. But the best food is the soufflé pancake, which just melts inside your mouth. We ordered matcha latte and strawberries latte for the drinks. The drinks are nice but not too special. #japanese #food

Tamago-EN restaurant offers original eggs to eat fresh and raw. However, I came here during tea time, so I was tempted to taste its signature soufflé pancake. I chose the original pancake pair with a cup of hot hazelnut chocolate. It was promoted that the soufflé pancakes are made with the freshest Japanese eggs. I think this is entirely correct. The pancake tasted so much better than I expected. The texture was soft, and the cream topping was not too sweet. I could taste the egg in every bite. Apart from the original, Tamago EN also offers other flavors of the soufflé pancakes, such as tiramisu, white peach, matcha, and Okinawa brown sugar. The restaurant’s name is Jiu Fen Full, located at G/F Amoy Plaza, Kowloon Bay. The restaurant is nicely decorated, with lanterns hanged on the roof, street signs and old mail box and brightly lit during the day time. The menu is only in Chinese, but they have pictures so you can just point to pictures. I ordered noodle in soup with ribs, sweet potato balls, and egg rolls with dessert of peanut mochi cake. All of them taste amazingly delicious. Better come before the meal time as they will get crowded as soon as lunch time starts #taiwanese #food

If you have kids around you, you would’ve heard of Peppa Pig. It’s widespread among parents and children. It’s episodes of story of Peppa, who lives on a hill with Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and little brother George. Although it’s a very famous cartoon, my kids knew them, we watched a couple of episodes but I decided to stop for a couple of reason. Honestly, I didn’t think kids should watch too much of Peppa Pig or Cocomelon 🫣 Anyway, there’s a Peppa Pig event at Kowloon Bay, it’s called the Happy Day Interactive Play! You must’ve seen blogger/ influencer posting about it. So, here’s the thing, I don’t just sweeten the package; readers know I give honest opinion. And this event, is definitely no go for kids 6 and above. There are different sections; vr interactive running, matching game on screen, slide with a sleight, vr jump into puddles and farm activities, train tracks, trampolines and more. BUT they are designed for toddlers, meaning kids age 1.5 to 5. “Jurassic x The Dinosaur Park” Exhibition

It’s no secret that dinosaur is loved by both genders, it’s something boys and girls could be fascinated by. So, kids are pretty excited about the trip. There’re different areas, such as; tug of war with kentrosaurus; be an archaeologist and dig some bones; the 2 driving around in Jurassic Park areas, where kids got to drive themselves or controlled by an adult with remote; be a mama dino and give the baby some water; wear a robe and be dino caretaker; run faster than a t-Rex etc. Most of them are interactive, which I guess it’s the reason kids find it interesting. So, there’s a few things you should know before deciding… 1️⃣Mom thinks : ⭐️ for the efforts but personally think it’s overpriced 2️⃣Kids thinks : ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ and they are telling me there’s so much fun 🤨 their favourite are driving, the tug of war with dino and the interactive screen games 😒 3️⃣ For your convenience (if you’re going), first thing is to check the time for the digging fossils game, and queue for it at least 15 mins before that, if you missed it, the waiting time is 45 mins (for the staff to clean and set up), short play time and seems simple but kids love it 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wouldn’t say it’s total waste of time, because if you’re a dino fans, or easily pleased like my kids, you’d enjoyed taking some “adventurous “ photos with the dinos. The models are fascinating. However, it would make more sense if it’s charging $80-$100 for entrance fees instead of $168-$380. This event is organised by Snow Palace, Starry and Big Honor, and the exhibition will be held at FTlife Tower starting from today (17 December) to 13 Feb 2022.
