🏔 Hui'an Sea Viewing Route
🍀 Xiaozao Windmill Island → Huinu Folk Park → Chongwu Ancient City → Yusha Bay
✅ About the attractions:
1️⃣ Chongwu Ancient City in Hui'an
Walk along the city wall to an ancient city gate called Shuiguanmen
No entrance fee, you can overlook the entire ancient city from the city wall. This is one of the most beautiful coastlines in China, and the scenery of Chongwu Coast is very beautiful.
2️⃣ Huinu Folk Park
The original birthplace and settlement of the famous Hui'an women
Here you can watch the tides, see the sunrise and sunset, and leisurely enjoy the fishing village scenery. It is best to go in the evening on a sunny day, around 3~4 pm
Standing at the highest point, you can overlook the entire small fishing village, which is very beautiful and peaceful.

This is a recently popular seaside park, the "Aranya" of Quanzhou. The newly developed seaside has a very artistic design
It features coffee, bars, libraries, and art sculptures, very distinctive!

How can you not visit Hui'an when you come to Quanzhou? You must also experience the Hui'an women's clothing!
🚉Travel Guide:
🚗 Chongwu Dazhuang Village is located in Hui'an County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. The transportation is convenient, and you can easily get there by self-driving or public transport. The whole village is filled with a strong fishing village atmosphere, making one feel as if they are in an ancient world.
🏞️ The area boasts unique natural resources, with blue skies, turquoise seas, golden sands, and green trees... forming a beautiful picture. Walking in the village, with the sea breeze on your face and listening to the sound of the waves hitting the shore, it's as if ancient stories are being told.
🏠 The architecture in the village is also very distinctive, with ancient houses, fishing nets, fishing boats... giving one a strong sense of the fishing village culture. Here, you can get a deep understanding of the fishermen's lifestyle and customs, and feel their simplicity and enthusiasm.
🌟 This trip to Dazhuang Village made me appreciate the natural wonders and human wisdom. The beautiful scenery, delicious food, and culture here have left a deep impression on me.
Here, there are a group of beautiful women, who with their unique charm and style, have become the pearls of this land, and they are the Hui'an women!
Hui'an women are the pride of this land. They are hardworking, kind, gentle, and resilient. With their diligence and resilience, their clothing is an important part of Hui'an culture. Traditional Hui'an women's clothing is brightly colored and uniquely styled. A red coat paired with blue shorts and a belt tied around makes for a graceful figure. The conical hat worn on the head not only provides shade but is also a highlight of the attire.
Hui'an women's clothing is not just for beauty, but also a cultural heritage of Hui'an women. Through their clothing, they pass on thousands of years of cultural history, displaying unique ethnic customs.
On the shores of Hui'an, the working figures of Hui'an women, along with their beautiful attire, form a unique landscape. They work by the sea, with agile figures and skilled movements, showing the beauty of labor.
Coming to Hui'an, I not only visited the ancient city of Chongwu but also experienced the Hui'an women's clothing. The light in Chongwu Dazhuang Village after 4 pm is just right, with the sun being softer accompanied by the sea breeze. If you arrive early, you can go to the beach🏝️ or the pier to walk around, see the local customs and habits, and even bring home some fresh seafood that has just been caught!
✅Must Experience: Hui'an women's clothing experience for 30 yuan per set
Do your own makeup before going, and you can also get makeup done here🪞, but it seems the skills are not very mature.

Don't just go to West Street when you visit Quanzhou, I highly recommend checking out the seaside
Li Xian and Zhou Yutong's 'Spring Sentiments to Lovers' is now online, and the filming location is right in Quanzhou.
Compared to the crowded West Street, I suggest you visit Quanzhou's seaside for a change. Quanzhou's coastline has been rated as one of the most beautiful in China by 'National Geographic', with numerous scenic islands and beaches.
All your yearnings for the sea can be satisfied here.
🌟 Check out the top ten most beautiful beaches】
✅ Chongwu Ancient City Coast: Chongwu Ancient City is one of the most well-preserved Ming Dynasty stone cities in China, combining coastal scenery, historical relics, folk customs, and sculpture art in one place, and it's also a filming location for 'Spring Sentiments to Lovers'.
✅ Hui'an Women's Folk Customs Park: Here you can watch the tides, sunrise and sunset over the sea, enjoy the fishing village scenery and the charm of Hui'an women.
Xiaocuo Windmill Island: With blue sea, white windmills, and golden rocks, the colors are vivid and pure. This is Quanzhou's 'easternmost land', where the first rays of sunlight illuminate Quanzhou every day.
✅ Shishi Golden Coast: One of the eighteen scenic spots in Quanzhou, the area includes Sea Sky Buddha Country (Luojia Temple, a check-in spot for Li Xian), Treading Waves Guanyin (a giant Guanyin stone statue), Underwater World (a giant cruise ship building), Dolphin Performance Hall, Yacht Club, and a seaside bathing beach.
✅ Guanyin Mountain Beach: Surrounded by the sea on both sides, it's a place where you can watch both the sunrise and sunset.
✅ Shishi Hongta Bay: A rare shallow water beach in Fujian, it's a natural swimming and summer retreat. The sand is fine and soft, and the beach is windy, making it ideal for kite flying.
✅ Yaku Beach: Located at Yaku, the hometown of Shi Lang in Longhu, the towering statue of Shi Lang is a symbol of the bay, with miles of continuous, flat, and fine white quartz sand shining like a silver necklace set between the blue sky and sea, creating a charming scene.
✅ Weitou Jinsawan Beach: The coastline is winding and long, with clear water and clean sand. This is also the site of the 'August 23' artillery bombardment of Kinmen, and it's the closest point on the mainland to Greater Kinmen Island.
✅ Tangdong Beach: The only 'antenna beach' in Asia, it stretches out into the sea like a jade belt and its shape resembles a pulsating musical note. The view from above is spectacular.
✅ Hui Women's Bay Beach: You don't have to go to Pingtan Island to see the blue tears; from April to August every year, the coastline of Hui Women's Bay will display a dreamlike blue.

Welcome everyone to Quanzhou Hui'an | Waiting for you to listen to the sea
~Let me introduce you to the tourist check-in route
Address: Fujian Province, Quanzhou City, Hui'an Fengqing Garden (Table No. 5)
Transportation: Self-driving (there are also buses).
I first learned about this place by seeing a video posted online, it felt so atmospheric, so I arranged the trip.
It might be a Sunday when you go, and it's very crowded, parking is not easy, but there is no parking fee, oh. The ticket is 30 yuan, 25.5 yuan if bought online. Prepare your health code in advance at the entrance, then scan the code to register, and wear your mask 😷.
As soon as you enter, on the right hand side is a small rocky island, the breeze is simply too refreshing. I went in the afternoon, and I suggest you definitely finish touring the entire Fengqing Garden before it gets dark. The scenery from every step on the mountaintop and shoreline is unique.
When the sun sets and the afterglow shines, take a photo from the top floor in picture three towards the right hand side, and you'll get the scene from picture one. The lights are on in the big stalls, the colorful clouds under the sunset, the whole scenery is like a painting.
After taking photos, go downstairs to eat the local specialty stir-fried seafood, enjoy the sea breeze, watch the waves hitting the rocks, and slowly enjoy life.
It's a popular spot, with many tourists from other places.
Quanzhou tourism. Hui'an tourism. Fujian tourism. Popular check-in spot

Quanzhou | Huinu Fengqing Garden | Listen to the sound of the sea
🎫Tickets: 30 (student ticket 15)
After purchasing online, you need to check at the ticket office to exchange for paper tickets
👂I heard others say it is a private attraction, in fact, it's just for dining, drinking tea, plus coastal scenery (the 30 ticket can be used for consumption inside)
📸Most people go there to take photos and check-in, the scenery is very beautiful, it feels like it takes about 1 hour to stroll around
🥾🥾You will climb a little bit, to reach the top (you can first walk to the end below and then return to the top, the houses by the sea seen from the top 🏠 are very similar to those on Dongshan Island)
Overall, it doesn't feel worth 30 yuan, in fact, there are quite a lot of free sceneries like this by the sea, but many people come to take photos for the "sound of the sea"

Culture and Nature combined in Hui An
#thingstodo
Not far from Quanzhou, you can do a short day trip to Hui An which is along the coast and check out traditional fishing village culture. The Cultural Village is located along some interesting rocky outcrops and has a few exhibits showcasing the HuiAn women, who wear a distinctive costume featuring a navel-revealing cropped top and baggy trousers, suitable for working under the hot sun.
🍵 The Cultural Village can be covered within an hour, it is not that big and I primarily enjoyed it for the scenery. Perhaps they might have more activities on the weekend but it was pretty quiet when I visited on a weekday, we were the only tourists there. There is a teahouse where you can take a break and sip some tea while looking out at the sea.

Hui'an women: feudal head ethnic belly-saving shirt wasteful pants
Hui'an women's clothing is a heritage of costume folk culture that collides and blends with the ancient Baiyue customs, marine culture, and Central Plains culture. The overall style of Hui'an women's clothing was formed in the Tang Dynasty, gradually matured in the Song Dynasty, and had more obvious changes in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. In the early 20th century, with the gradual opening of cultural life and vision, Hui'an women's clothing continued to develop and improve, thus becoming a costume folk culture phenomenon with strong regional characteristics. In May 2006, Hui'an women's clothing was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
