HUALUXE Kunming: Poor service, good facilities||I wanted to find a resort hotel to relax in Kunming, and I was worried that the InterContinental would be crowded, so I chose HUALUXE. It was still full. The front desk said that all the rooms were full that day, and I couldn't change my room. I stopped a taxi, and the driver hadn't heard of the hotel. The name is hard to type, and it took a while to set the destination. It seems that HUALUXE wants to be a family-friendly resort? I saw many children in the lobby every time I passed by. Environment: There is a gate when you turn in from the main road, and it immediately becomes quiet, like a resort. The outdoor greenery is nice, and there are peacocks in the courtyard, which was a surprise. I went to the hot spring at night, and there weren't many people, so I could occupy a pool. It's close to Dianchi Lake and the Yunnan Nationalities Village, and there are dining areas nearby. It's a bit far from downtown Kunming, and it takes a long time to get to the city center. Check-in: Average. The welcome drink can be coffee or juice in the lobby. I got a flower cake snack after check-in, and there was hot mulled wine in the lobby, which was nice. 👍 Room: I got a mountain view room, but I had to walk a long way from the elevator to the room, which was tiring in hotel slippers. Lounge: It opens in the afternoon, and there aren't many food and drink options. The environment is average, and there are two terraces, but no heating equipment outside, which was disappointing. Huayi Hot Springs, you deserve it

💞💞 On the eve of the Dragon Year, I spent it at the Kunming Huayi Hot Spring Hotel After touring Yunnan for two weeks, I was very tired, so I thought about finding a better hot spring♨♨♨ to have a good rest. It would be best if I didn't have to move at all after entering, and could go directly to the airport the next day to return home✈✈✈ Thinking that it was the Chinese New Year, I wanted to choose a better hot spring, so I picked the Huayi Hot Spring Hotel from the many hot springs in Kunming. After reading other people's travel guides, this one seemed relatively high-end, not too crowded, and basically, you could close the door and have a pool to yourself (see pictures 2-3). Moreover, the temperatures of different pools vary, so you can start from 39 degrees and soak your way up We also changed several pools, starting with a lower temperature and gradually getting used to it. Although it was only about ten degrees outside and quite cold, you wouldn't feel very cold wrapped in a bathrobe and towel. You can get more towels from the front desk, and when they get wet, you can put them in the nearby rack, and the staff will come to collect them 🌟 Highlights: The hot springs are distributed on both sides of the swimming pool (see pictures 4-5), with about eight or so (might not have counted them all). Basically, you can always find an empty pool without having to share with others, and if it's hot, you can also swim🏊. There's also ice cream at the front desk, and what's particularly cute is that every hour on the hour, there's a little train that takes you around the hotel (see pictures 7-8). If you're lucky, you can even look up to see planes passing overhead (last three pictures). 📝 Tips: If you want to enjoy the hot springs and ride the little train, especially when the weather is cold, it's best to wear clothes for the train ride and then soak in the hot springs afterward, otherwise, you might get very cold after the ride
