Busan City Day Tour: Take a capsule train to view Haeundae from a distance
My understanding of Busan
started with the capsule train
Because of a picture, I flew over 2300 kilometers just to check in
Today, I will introduce my Busan capsule train day tour guide in detail🔎
🚉Day Tour Itinerary
Cheongsapo Marine Skywalk - Capsule Train (Cheongsapo to Oe Pohang, i.e., Haeundae) - APEC Nurimaru APEC House - Distant view of Haeundae - Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
Cheongsapo Marine Skywalk🗼
Before taking the capsule train, you can visit the Cheongsapo Marine Skywalk to enjoy the seascape. 🆓Admission, it's on the left side of the train, about a 15-minute walk away. The skywalk was abandoned halfway through construction, but it is still open for visitors. Shoes and socks are required to enter the bridge. You can admire the scenery of reefs, lighthouses, and haenyeo (female divers).
Capsule Train🚞
We took the train from Cheongsapo to Oe Pohang, which is Haeundae, and the journey took about 20 minutes. The views in order are the ocean, forest, and cityscape. There are options for 2, 3, or 4 people, each with different prices, and tickets can be purchased online in advance! It is recommended to visit after 4 pm to enjoy the sunset over the ocean and the city forest.
APEC Nurimaru APEC House🏙
Built to commemorate the successful hosting of the APEC meeting, the APEC Memorial Hall has three floors. The first floor is an outdoor courtyard🏡, the second floor is a high-end banquet hall, and the third floor allows entry into the Nurimaru APEC House. You can witness the scene of the APEC meeting from that year.
Distant view of Haeundae🌁
When traveling to Busan, Haeundae is a must-visit. From the APEC Nurimaru APEC House, you can view Haeundae from a distance, with the Haeundae sea-crossing bridge shrouded in mist. The place has its own unique charm with the sea, clouds, and bridge. There are relatively few people who come here to watch~
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple🛕
It is a temple built by the sea. It is one of the three major sacred places of Guanyin in the hearts of Koreans (Xiangyang Luoshan Temple, South Sea Bodhi Hermitage, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple). The temple wonderfully combines the sea, dragons, and Guanyin, making it very efficacious. Built in 1376, it has a history of over 600 years and is the southernmost temple in Korea.
Travel tips:
1️⃣The capsule train needs to be booked in advance
2️⃣The weather in Busan during March and April is quite unpredictable, remember to bring rain gear

🛕 Haedong Yonggungsa Temple @ Busan
Another not to be missed spot when you're at Busan, Korea is the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple! It's a rare temple - as it's located right by the sea, and it offers quite a stunning coastal view as well!
Surrounded by the clear blue waters and lush greeneries, you can be sure you'll find healing at this place.
The temple features 108 stair steps and it represents human desires. It also has a lot of Buddhist statues and sculptures - we found one for "getting a male child" and "passing exam with flying colors"!

The most beautiful temple in Korea, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
#BusanTravel #HaedongYonggungsa
There's a temple next to the sea?! A temple that I thought was only in the mountains is also next to the sea, and it's known as the most beautiful temple in Korea. It's located between Songjeong Beach and Gijang Beach in Busan, so it's easy to access!
Free noodle offerings are held every Sunday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM for an hour. It's great because you can taste cool Busan Milmyeon mixed with rice! It's just the right amount for a quick snack, but I personally think it's much tastier than the Milmyeon restaurants that are famous in Busan!
⚠️It's located across from Busan Lotte World and Osiria Luge Theme Park, so it's great to visit together!

Most beautiful temple in Korea!❤️
This is Haedong Yonggungsa Temple called to be the most beautiful temple in Korea.
It is located at the ocean in Busan City.
Just before the entrance there are many cafes and shops. Then as you enter the temple you start to see its beautiful architecture. There are many different kinds of flowers here and the whole roof is decorated with some colored hexagonal shaped structures.
You will see the statue of Buddha in the main temple and also the statue of laughing Buddha on the side.
If you will climb up the stairs, you will see the staute of wisdom goddess as well.
Then there is a small cave as well inside.
Hydrangea in different colors like white, blue, pink etc blossom there during the months of June and July.
You can also see a beautiful view of the ocean from there.
We ate a melon based ice cream as well which was quite popular in that area and this cafe was right at the temple only. That ice cream was a must try!
Overall very peaceful and serene environment and the temple has a very beautiful architecture!

The most beautiful temple in Korea!
“The most beautiful temple in Korea”… I’m not saying this myself but it is written right on the wall here at Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Busan. Although I have not visited every temple in Korea yet, I kinda agree that this temple is a second to none. Not only the temple itself that is beautiful, the area is also breathtaking. You can see from the pictures that the temple is located right on the cliff where you can enjoy the beautiful sea of Busan. If you can choose, it may be good to avoid weekends and public holidays as it can get much crowded.#Haedongyonggungsa #temple #busan #korea

Busan’s Temple by the Sea
#tripblazers #busan #southkorea
Haedong Yonggunsa Temple is one of the most picturesque temples in South Korea. Not only is it a prime spot for watching the sunrise, but also it’s location also hosts beautiful views of the sea. Dedicated to the goddess of compassion, you can see a huge statue of her on the cliff. To get to the actual temple there is a little walk through a narrow path, so make sure you bring plenty of water if you visit in the summer!

Temple built by buddhist teacher Naong
Since it is located by the sea, the magnificent sea view and the waves add a more fascinating atmosphere to this temple. If you are in love with the traditional architecture of Korea like me, I would definitely recommend adding it to your Busan travel list.
If you are going to visit such historical temples in Korea, you should know that it will not be easy to reach these temples. So remember that you need a lot of time and strength to visit temples in Korea.🥱
I would like to trip all over the Korea as much as possible 🙏🏽I don’t always need a plan , wanna just go …

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Busan
I have always wanted to visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Busan. I missed it last time, but I finally got to see it this time. It happened to be a holiday, so there were a lot of people. If you want to make a wish, you can write it on a gold plate and hang it up, which feels very ceremonial. 😍 However, it requires some physical strength as you need to climb some stairs, but it is definitely worth it. I heard that if you want to have a baby boy, you can touch the round belly of the Maitreya Buddha. There is also a reclining Buddha statue in one of the halls.

A Buddhist temple 🏯 built in 1376 in Busan in Korea🇰🇷
This Buddhist temple in Busan is said to be the most beautiful temple in Korea. In 1376, a large church was built on the rocky edge of the sea.
Built with paths like a dragon curled up on the edge of the rocky cliffs of the beach, this place is always crowded with visitors who can enjoy the beauty of the beach and the temple in one place.
There is a special Buddha of granting a son that can be prayed for. Also, we saw the custom of writing small prayers on small gold banyan leaves and hanging them on the balcony.
It is a place where there is no entrance fee, and there are small souvenir shops and a bread market at the entrance.

Second visit to Busan.
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Songdo, Yeongdo, Baeksan Beach, Gamcheon Culture Village, Nampo-dong, Gwangalli Drone Show, Yacht Holic, Diamond Bay, Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju, Donggung Palace, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, Yangdong Village, Hahoe Village, Hwangridan-gil. This time, I visited all the places I missed last time, not a single one left out.
I made full use of the Visit Busan Pass, Trip Pass, and Taiwan Pay. I think I can call myself a semi-expert in Busan travel now.
I originally wanted to experiment with the recently promoted Busan Subway app QR code as my main transportation card, but it can only be used for the subway and not for other transportation. So, I ended up using the Trip Pass as my main card. By the way, their 1-day pass (₩6000) and 3-day pass (₩13000) seem very cost-effective. I recommend it to those who plan to travel around Busan a lot.
