Cafe Hopping In Johor Bahru
Want to spend a weekend cafe hopping in singapore but it literally burns a hole in your pocket! Why not head over to johor bahru and make this a bucketlist weekend trip with your friends.
There is an area located right across on the left hand side of the causeway and a short 10mins walk away from the immigration custom(so that you don't need to rent a car and keep it affordable), there are abundance of cafes located here.
This is mostly along the streets of Jalan Dhoby and Jalan Tan Hiok Née where you will see rows of old shophouses converted into little cafes. From just a plain white looking cafe just serving coffee and cakes to a full service cafe that serve western food and instaworthy shots too!
There are several cafes here like the popular IT Roo Cafe, Flowers in the window, jimmylicious cheesecake cafe, Offee Cafe and many others located just either side by side or across the road.

Flowers in the Window - Yummy Food Journey❤️🔥❤️
#foodiejourney
For example, New Mountain Flowers in the Window I, one of the top restaurants in the heart of old street restaurants! I must recommend it to you.! Therefore, the food options are very diverse! a key!! My favorite is Hainan Beef Noodles, which are full of portions and delicious beef. YYDS always gives me the feeling of waiting for time every time I go there. I love the food very much and always order Lotus Chips Salmon Bowl every time I go there. I didn't disappoint! For me, the portion size is a bit large. Recently, I have been particularly fond of the healthy trend, which mainly focuses on light food. Each food is a specialty of the store and is very "bumping" outside. However, this time I want to try other foods to share with everyone. The reason why it is worth trying every food more is that the Earl Grey Lavender store owner is determined to eat desserts if you like! I've been having breakfast at home lately, preparing to be wary of other people's bread!! Healthy and delicious! I have tried many restaurants and still remain loyal to this one. I never get tired of eating every day!! What attracts me the most is the southern sourdough bread from Jiejia. If you want to take a closer look at the menu, you can go to his house. G: Flowers in the Window Store. I guarantee you like this restaurant. 9, Jalan Dhoby, Johor Bahru 80000 9am-5pm. You can sit until 6pm Closed on Tuesday

[Johor Bahru] Cafe-hopping in JB
#wheretogo I’m not sure when it first started but I was surprised to find so many cafes sprouting up in JB. Each cafe is so full of character and decent food that I wonder why we would spend double to triple the amount for cafe food in Singapore anymore.
I love exploring the cafes in JB, some of them are rustic like the Flowers in the Window cafe (pictured) and have an authentic charm, while others are sleek and sophisticated. I remember heading to Flowers in the Window early in the morning because we wanted to beat the causeway jam but could not check into our hotel yet.
We were one of the first few customers they had and we had the second floor all to ourselves. There was a small roof garden, and even a bed, on the second floor, along with chairs and sofas. It was quite fun exploring the second floor and taking all the pictures we wanted.
Ambience: 4/5
Cleanliness: 3/5
