Istanbul sunset
Visiting Istanbul after some years again. Always nice city to eat and explore. Kebab is something you must eat and there are so many beautiful mosques around the city. Transportation there is good and easy with the Istanbul kart. I recommend you to visit there in spring or autumn, when the temperature is decent. Walking around the old town, taking ferry, eating delicious Turkish food and more, Istanbul is the destination where you can enjoy so much.

A Bustling Hub
#myhiddengems
The eminonu pier cannot be missed. It is bustling with so much activity from people taking transport to ferries, fishermen, locals and food. If you wish to travel between the European and Asian sides of Istanbul, there is the Avrasya Tünel or bridges. And another popular choice are the ferries either from Eminönü or Karaköy to Kadıköy.
If you wish to just stay onboard and soak in the sights of the bosphorous. These ferries are a great way to do so by riding and back. I recommend getting the istanbul card for convenience. When done with the eminou pier you could walk to the spice market and the new mosque in the same vicinity.#istanbul #explore #pier #autumn #summer #vacation #cafe #food #night_istanbul #trip #singapore

A place for ferries
#myhiddengems
While primarily this is where you get ferries to the other parts of Istanbul. There are other things to do around here. Its a fascinating place to just people watch. Lots of locals running between piers and stations to get the ferries. Big electronic boards with timing display for ferries. I paid extra and stayed on a ferry to and back just to get more of the sights and the ambience.
Lots of fishermen and fishing boats to be seen as well. You get a nice view of the city from here. Also you are in walkable distances from galata tower or the yeni cami and the market for spices in the same neighbourhood. Another thing I enjoyed here was local food. Just observe people and do as you feel. a nice spot for pictures too.

An amazing place where you can enjoy fresh air meet with locals you can hear bird voices. There are food stands everywhere that sell corn/sandwiches ( fish sandwiches included) the tram is close by.
Eminönü is the center of not only Istanbul but also all different ethnicities, that is, the world, with its Spice Bazaar, Tahtakalesi, Blessing Sister, Grand Bazaar, new mosque, coppersmiths, food sellers and all different voices.
