A Relaxing Coffee Break at Coffee Bean, East Coast Park
#traveldiaries
If you're looking for a chill spot to enjoy your coffee while taking in some beautiful views, Coffee Bean at East Coast Park is the place to be. It's located right by the beach, so you can sip on your favorite drink with the sound of the waves in the background. The vibe here is super relaxed, making it perfect for unwinding after a stroll along the coast or even a morning jog.
The seating is comfortable, and they've got both indoor and outdoor options, so whether you want some air-con or prefer the sea breeze, you’re covered. The menu is what you’d expect from Coffee Bean – good coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and some light meals. I usually go for a classic iced latte and a slice of their cheesecake, which never disappoints.
The park setting really adds something special to the whole experience. Whether you’re catching up with friends, working on your laptop, or just enjoying some alone time, Coffee Bean at East Coast Park gives off a really peaceful vibe. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

Chill Mornings at East Coast Park
#familytrips2024
One of our family's favourite places: East Coast Park in Singapore on a cozy morning. You can feel the gentle breeze rustling through the coconut trees, and the scent of saltwater hangs in the air. People are out jogging, cycling, or simply strolling along the promenade, enjoying the serenity of the moment. Maybe you grab a cup of coffee from the Marina Cove or the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and settle in to watch the world wake up. It's the perfect start to a laid-back day by the sea. There is also a children playground for kids to enjoy.

Local’s Favourite - East Coast Park (ECP)
ECP has to be one of the local’s favourite parks to visit as it is a very popular recreational area that is known for it’s biking trails, running tracks, F&B, BBQ pits that are available for booking, camping sites or even simply, its scenic coastline where you can just sit by the beach with your favourite book while listening to the waves crash in the background.
Facilities are well-maintained so you would definitely see quite a crowd especially after work hours on weekdays while everyone rushes off work to head over for a quick workout. A great place to unwind!

East Coast Best Coast?
#singapore #eastie #park #beach #cycling
East Coast Park is one of the biggest parks in Singapore. It’s so long that you can go from Changi Airport all the way to Gardens by the Bay! And that’s just the cycling path.
Along the way there’re several key locations you can visit to see, do and eat things. Things like:
1. Jurassic Stretch - Nearer to Changi Airport, there’s a stretch of the park that has been transformed to be dinosaur themed.
2. Marine Cove - This area has a few eateries and a giant playground! Coffeebean and Tea Leaves, Commune and McDonalds are some of the available options.
3. KPMG Wellness Garden - A new garden was recently opened that is focused on therapeutic nature and designed with physiotherapy in mind.

East Coast Park Area C - A Weekend Escape
#singapore #fishing #eastcoast #seaview #beachview #eastside
Singapore may be a metropolitan city with loads of shopping malls and man made infrastructures. Do you know Singapore also has a place that has a shoreline of 10km of beach located at east coast park!
This is popular among the locals and for people who stays in the east especially. The park may not have mrt near by but it is accessible by buses and a short walk over from katong or marine parade. You are able to do great morning and evening runs. In area C, this place is newly renovated and is popular among people who wants to do casual fishing as well.

ECP Beach
ECP is a must visit place for residents and tourists alike. The sea side is buzzing with activity every weekend when cyclists, morning walkers, campers and families throng the place to spend some quality time. There are many eateries in the vicinity. One can rent a bicycle or a rickshaw to add to the fun. Take some time to walk along the beach on the concrete pathway and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Beautiful Sunset at Beautiful East Coast Park
The sunset at East Coast Park in Singapore is a breathtaking spectacle. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky transforms into a vivid canvas of warm hues. The skyline is painted in shades of orange, pink, and purple, casting a serene glow over the calm waters of the South China Sea. Palm trees sway gently in the breeze, and people gather along the coastline to witness this daily marvel. The soft, golden light reflects off the sand, creating a tranquil atmosphere that's perfect for an evening stroll or a picnic by the shore. It's a serene and picturesque moment that captures the beauty of nature against the backdrop of Singapore's skyline.

Singapore Specials Day
#mysgmemories
I had the opportunity to volunteer for the Singapore Specials Day which is an event held for the Singapore Special community.
This Singapore special day aims to advocate audience about the local stray dogs which are usually mix breed. The purpose is to raise awareness and dissolve misunderstandings about the dogs (usually about them being aggressive but they are not!).
There are also merchandise booth, paw print activity for the book of record and even a pet walk at East Coast Park! It’s nice and fun sight seeing such events where pet lovers gather and create awareness for their pets.
Not forgetting fun games with your pets and an adoption drive. Admission is free.

Romantic Picnic by the Beach
Nothing is more romantic than having a picnic of homemade goodies by the beach and having heartfelt chats as the sun goes down. East coast park is one of my most favourite places to visit especially in the late afternoons. And it’s not difficult to see why. The sand is soft and smooth for walks, the terrain is nice and flat to lay out a picnic mat, there are many toilets around, be amazed by the aeroplanes flying by and the fantastic sunset that can be seen. Do consider bringing your date here this Valentine’s Day and I’m sure you’ll have an amazing time like I did.

East Coast Park Lagoon(Many Food Options)
Thinking of somewhere to go this weekend? Head down to east coast park where this is the longest beach in singapore from Fort Road all the way towards tenah merah. This place is popular among joggers and cyclists especially in the morning!
After a great work out, looking for much friendlier options, you can head to the east coast park food lagoon located right in the middle of east coast park itself where most of the stores will start opening from 10am/11am in the morning.
There are wide variety of options especially towards our local sibgapore food like chicken rice, prata, carrot cake and hokkien mee, curry puff and even coconut and sugar cane for a refreshing drink!
This place will be very crowded especially during the weekends evening, even with the huge floor spaces of seating, parking too is hard to find! Do go there early if you don't intend to fight for a lot. Food here is generally good, but a bit on the pricy side due to a tourist location.

Ambience - aircon and alfresco dining restaurant amidst the nature (beach facing)
Average Price - 💰💰💰💰
Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Opening hours - 8am till 11pm daily
Been wanting to visit PS Cafe along East Coast Beach after I heard about the very relaxed environment, dining to the sounds and smell of the beach.
Today we came visit for dinner. The ambience is indeed different from in the day. Today’s weather is kind to us. Was raining the whole day which stopped in the evening, perfect for the alfresco dining and the chance to hear and smell the sea.
We had a hearty meal. The fries are so fragrantly infused with truffle oil. The pizza is baked to the right texture. The barramundi swims in milky lemongrass sauce with risotto. The BBQ ribs is meaty and tender. Food quality deserves 5* 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
1. Truffle Shoestring Fries $17
2. Caputo crafted Waikiki Pizza $26
3. Simply Seared Barramundi $32
4. Sticky BBQ Ribs $38
They have since grown to 12 outlets across the island and 2 in Shanghai. Do check them out in the other outlets too.

Outdoor Activities @ Sg
#gooutside and play during long weekend, that's what most Singaporeans do to fill up the break. This national day, we had amazing time barbeque-ing outdoor and had fun at East Coast Park.
There were many of us, students and faculty. We did outdoor games and bonding; ended the day with grilling. I saw many tents set there too. Located at D area. Not very convenient to go toilet but its very near to car park, so if you drive, it's gonna be very convenient.
Besides having outdoor activity on grass area, you can go to beach area too. East Coast is super huge, range around 40km? You can do many activities here, including cycling. There's bicycle rent in this park. Recommended for family time or any other outdoor activities.

Cycling At East Coast Park
Singapore has been promoting healthy lifestyle so why not head down to one of the longest beach in Singapore at East Coast Park! There are a couple of bike rental shops thruout the entire East Coast Park. The very 1st bike rental shop that you can rent from is from Fort Road, this is where you can start the cycling journey and head towards the bedok jetty or even towards Taneh Merah Coastal Road if time prevails.
The bike rental shops generally charges cheaper for overnight cycling, and the prices are different depending the type if bikes you choose. The bikes isn't the best, but it gets its job dome by bringing you to explore places along East Coast Park Beach.

Newly Build Playground in East Coast Park
East Coast Park is the largest park in singapore stretching more than 15km in length from Fort Road to tenah merah coastal road. There is a newly build playground closer to Fort Road located at area B called the coastal playgrove.
The coastal playgrove used to be home to the famous Big splash which has not been revamped to a playtower which is the tallest outdoor play park in singapore. A 4 story tower where it features a vertical net play area called the Vertical Challenge, and slides on the third and fourth floor.
There is also a water play area for kids or even yourself if you want, to just cool off or even have fun with your kids as there are numerous water jets and splash around the wading pool and streams. Do take not that no shoes are allowed in the water play area due to hygiene issues.
After your energies are depleted, there are also several fast food, cafes and restaurants located right beside the playgrove where you can feast on to regain your energies!

Seafood By The Beach
East Coast Park is one of the longest stretch of beach in Singapore. Often people from all around singapore often head down to east coast park for jogs, cycle, pinic and of course dining by the beach alfresco style.
We had awesome seafood at long beach, which serves our famous local cusine, chilli crabs. In addition we also had great lobster stir fry in buttet and oat, bamboo clams, scallop with broccoli and dry seafood youtiao. Everything wad being cooked perfectly and tasted just as fresh as it can ever get.
Of course, do not expect it to come cheap, as these places are catered more to tourists but still serves really authentic singapore food.
There is also another famous seafood restaurant called jumbo, which is in comparison with Long Beach Seafood. Even if seafood isn't your kind of thing, rest assured there are other restaurants there serving muslim food, cafes, fast food along the whole stretch of East Coast Beach. Indeed there is something for everyone!

Morning Cycling @East Coast Beach Park
If you are looking for beach activity without having to wear a bikini, East Coast beach park is the best option.
One of the most exciting places in Singapore, day and night for alone or in a group. Here are some of my recommendations;
-To see and experience more about this beach park, cycling is better than walking because its a long stretch of the beach park.
-No bicycle? No problem, bicycle rental is available on the beach.
-Early morning is the best to enjoy the beach atmosphere, fresh breeze, calm and fewer people, compared to the late afternoon or evening.
-Having breakfast on the beach, bring your own or buy at food chains or cafes on the beach.
-As usual, a weekday is better than the weekend.
How to reach the beach; Public Bus no.401

Family fun at East Coast Park
I had a great time at East Coast Park over the weekends. The weather was good, the day was bright and windy.. Simply the perfect time to be out and about.
There are loads to do at East Coast Park, which makes it an ideal place for family and friends to gather. Jog/ skate/ stroll/ camp/ cycle/ wake surf/ kayak/ wind surf/ have a picnic or just head to the lagoon for hawker food. There are plenty of food options (restaurants ranging from $40+/ pax to hawker food of <$10/ pax to fast food) + car parks (some paid, some free) too.
There were some glamping tents facing the sea. They look huge and comfy, I wondered if they were open for staycations. I didn't manage to check them out but will do so the next time!

Dinner @ ECP
Family and I were craving for some seafood and decided to stop by Jumbo while we were having our evening stroll at East Coast Park! The food there was good that I only managed to snap a few shots of the food before things got messy.. The view and ambiance at the East Coast outlet is great as well. After our dinner, we could even take a slow walk along the sea side!

Beachwalk @ East Coast
Address - E Coast Park Service Rd
Ambiance/Facilities - beach, seaview, picnic, bbq, glamping, restaurants and cafes, playground, driving lesson
Highlights - East coast park is a very big park where it stretched around 15km in total. This is the oldest place and first beach that I went to in Singapore. There are a lot of activities you can do here. Usually I came here for BBQ or cycling, but there are also people who brought their dogs or pets around. There's volleyball net, amber tower (where we can get good view from top there), sitting areas, graffities, and others. If you are going to take the traffic theory exam, the institution is located inside here as well, complete with road simulation and even "fake" patrol station. This place can be said as the only recreational park where almost all outdoor activities are in. You are encouraged to find spot where it is close to the toilet and/or nearby restaurants. Keep hydrated as weather is so hot!

This place is also perfect for gathering or activities like amazing race for team building. I just completed my school activity here after more than 11k steps. It was fun hunting around for photoshots & exploring the area.

⭐Changi Jurassic Mile, East Coast Park
#dateideas
Broke and not sure where to bring your date next?
Try taking a stroll along Changi Jurassic Mile, an outdoor display of different life-sized dinosaurs which is situated in between the Changi Airport and the East Coast Park!
Along this 1 kilometre dinosaur attraction themed cycling and jogging path, you will see more than 20 different kinds of dinosaurs ranging from the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex to the swift Velociraptors and many other species including Brontosauruses and Ankylosauruses.
To get to the Jurassic Mile, you can start from the Hub & Spoke at Changi Airport Connector (rent a bike!). Alternatively, you can drop off or park at Changi Airport T4 Car Park 4A, and Jurassic Mile is right next to it (this will save you the long walk!)
You can have fun taking loads of selfies with your date as you pose with the various dinosaur species and pretend to be scared/eaten by the huge T-rex.
Best of all, it's free entrance and open 24 hours so you won't have to worry if you are broke😆 A great (and cheap place) to bring your date to do something out of the ordinary and learn more about these prehistoric animals at the same time!

East Coast Park
⛲️ East Coast Park is the largest park in Singapore. It has sea, beach, grasslands, cycling and running track, food centres… Basically you can do anything here. And it also allows swimming and fishing. 🎣 And there’s bicycle rental shop as well. 🚴♀️So there’re lots of visitors there every day, doing various things. But it’s not so convenient to get there by public transportation. Better you can drive your car.
🌄I was there for the beautiful sunset. It was lucky to have a sunny day that I could see the sunset clearly. The area of the beach is also large so you could easily find your own corner to take pictures or just watch the sea view. Generally, you can’t miss this pretty large park.
