#photolocation I just got back from a visit to Dubai Marina, and it was absolutely stunning! 🌆 The Marina is this ultra-modern waterfront area lined with towering skyscrapers and luxury yachts. Walking along the promenade is free, and I spent hours just soaking in the views of the sparkling water and impressive skyline. The area really comes alive in the evening with all the lights reflecting off the water—pure magic! One of the highlights was taking a Dhow Cruise, which cost around 200 AED. The boat ride was so relaxing, and the views of the city from the water were breathtaking, especially at night. There are also so many great restaurants and cafés to choose from, ranging from casual bites to upscale dining. I grabbed dinner at one of the waterfront spots, and the food was fantastic! For something different, I also visited the nearby JBR Beach, which is perfect if you want to relax or swim after exploring the Marina. Facing Dubai's scorching weather, the beach is undoubtedly our best companion. Just a half-hour drive from downtown Dubai, you'll reach Dubai Marina. This area faces the Persian Gulf and boasts expansive beaches. Naturally, the shore is lined with various high-end hotels and luxurious resorts. Sometimes we swim in the hotel pools, sometimes we enjoy cocktails and sunbathe on the hotel's private beach, and other times we head to the public Marina Beach to take in the scenery and play in the sea. Dubai Creek is still the place to experience the pulse of Dubai and the birthplace of Dubai history. The best way to feel the local culture is to take a water meter ride or abbra like a local. As a public transport service, the abbra boat has been staggered across the wide Dubai Bay for centuries. With only 1 dirham, you can linger in the mother river of Dubai and experience the source of Dubai's prosperity. Through Abbra on the water, the two sides of Dubai Creek can see the contrast between the city and the old. On one side is a glass curtain wall, a modern building complex composed of skyscrapers. On the other side, it seems to go into another era, another place. In addition to the traditional wind towers, you can also see the domes and spires of some mosques. This is a typical Middle Eastern feature, whether it's a beach, a coral reef, or a white building that can be seen everywhere. The water in Dubai Bay is crystal clear, and a pure blue stretches in both directions. Dubai Creek looks a lot like a river, but in fact it is a bay that reaches into the inland. This is the waters of the Indian Ocean connected to the Gulf of Oman in the Strait of Hormuz. There were boats passing by quietly, and the seagulls were flying on the water, which was beautiful. There are cities in the endless desert, rivers in the city, and the stimulation of sand in the desert. Now I look at the sea in front of me so quietly that there is always an unreal feeling.

Come to surprise this was my first time also seeing water taxi available in urban area here like Dubai! This whole stretch of harbour is really memorable as if I have entered into Western country. The entrance is free, but you might want to splurge on a boat tour, which costs around AED 150 for a standard ride. When people go to Dubai, they always end up doing the same generic things. Now imagine you only had 1day in Dubai and $100, here are some unique things you can do for a unique experience: 1. Boat Ride $6 Roundtrip I started the day off with a boat trip from Dubai Old Town to Dubai Marina. It’s a beautiful scenic ride which is best at sunrise or sunset golden hours. 2. Window Shopping $35 We stopped by a city market that sold the most vibrant material as well as the authentic Dubai fashion. We tried out different fragrances and food. The choices for souvenirs were endless. We both left with 1 item each 3. Palm MonoRail $3 Rountrip Since we only had a few hours left for the day. We decided to take a scenic train tour, this train stops at all the famous malls and center in Dubai Town and the railway track is uniquely shaped in a palm tree. Such an authentic experience. Best to do it before the Sun goes down 4. Time Out Market $27 Of-course we had to end off the might with the Music Foundation, but we did something different to avoid the crowd. We found an amazing food market/ chill spot called Time Out Market that has food from ALL OVER THE WORD and most importantly, a perfect view of the foundation lake where the music lake performance happens hourly.
